Allbirds doesn't stand behind their sneakers
I purchased a pair of Allbirds Tree Runner Go sneakers back in April, wore them no more than 10 times, and the white sole is splitting/cracking right at the area where the sneaker creases as you walk. I reached out to Allbirds via the chat on their website, and the agent basically told me there was nothing they could do, left me high & dry. All I can tell you my similar pair of Nike sneakers that I have worn all over for 5 years haven't shown such a defect in their sole. I guess I'll NEVER buy Allbirds again, because besides their sneakers not lasting infrequent use, they refused to stand behind their product.

First I’ll start by saying I ordered shoes from them years ago and I liked those and enjoyed the experience. This new version of allbirds I ordered from is a different story. First it took over 2 weeks to even receive my order. Then the shoes I did receive were dirty and scuffed as though someone wore and returned them previously. I reached out to support to ship my return back. It took 2 weeks to receive a label and it was only received once I threatened to contact my bank and dispute the charge. They cited a technical issue on their end but it’s pretty clear they were just ignoring my request to return. Fast forward another 3 weeks and they only refunded part of my money, saying the other portion is non refundable on returns. What a scam of a company this has become…

Good Shoes Bad Service
They've sent me two different sizes. My left shoe was an eight. My right shoe was a seven and a half. I assumed the chat line would be the quickest way. It took 2 and 1/2 days for them to try to find a solution through their "chat line". That's when they informed me that they were sold out of that color in both a seven and a half and an eight. Their solution was pick a different color. No discount. No. Why don't you keep those and will send you another pair free? Just me sitting on a chat line for 2 days. Waiting for them to tell me there's nothing they can do.

Awful customer service
Awful customer service. I’ve purchased 4 pairs from them. This last pair happened to be extremely uncomfortable and had no support. It made my feet sore for two days. I tried to return it or at least get some credit back to my account but they refused. Sad they don’t take care of normal customers due to greed.

Beautiful shoe not for wide widths
Womens Steider (Explorere) . Beautiful shoe. Definitely not for anyone with slightly wide feet. Have multiple pairs of all birds. This is the only model that is very tight for wider feet I opted to keep these as I modified the width. In order to wear them I had to remove the shoelaces put a form inside that stretched them out for over a week. Now they fit well because mine are dark green, you can't even really tell the shoelaces aren't there.. now I love to shoe and the fit

Been a loyal customer for years. Bought probably 10 pairs of shoes from them. Returned an equal amount. Because until you get them and try them on and see fit and feel, you don't know. I went to order last night and found after many different contacts that I'd been banned for too many returns. No warning, nothing. Just see ya. They are having serious financial difficulties, so they are cutting customers in effort to get more profitable. Not sure how that will work. But will look for good alternative. From what I can read, they won't be in business much longer.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and no QC in sizes!!!
My experience with "Allbirds" has been very poor! The sizes are NOT consistent. I'm a true size 7 and bought 2 pairs (of the same kind, different colors) and 1 fits great, the other like a size 6! I returned the one that fit a whole size smaller, along with a picture of both pairs I bought, side by side, and you could see the difference in size, very obvious! It takes several days....or NOT at all to get a response from their customer service! Several times asked them to call me to get this worked out....nothing! When they did "finally" refund the one pair, they didn't give me full refund, almost $10 less than what I paid! I wrote them to ask how they got that amount.....no response! My son bought me a pair of slippers for Christmas, size 7 and they go 2 inches past my heel! NO QUALITY CONTROL with Allbirds!! I asked my son to STOP buying from this company! NEVER will I buy from them, poor POOR Customer Service.

Great customer service. Received my order very quickly, unfortunately there was an issue with the trainers so I emailed customer services straight away who almost immediately responded and offered me several different ways to resolve the issue. This was sorted within 24hours and the trainers are very comfy so I'm very happy and will be purchasing from Allbirds again.

items were delivered by EVRI and left in an open area and stolen. Allbirds have said that because it was left outside, it is considered delivered, regardless of being left in plain sight. they will not give me a refund

Order a pair of shoes and had them accidentally sent to an old addrss since I just moved. I attempted to work with their customer service to do anything about this, since I couldn't get access to my old buildings drop off location and because of the shipping method Allbirds uses I can not make any changes or hold with fedex. I ended up getting passed between 3 different customer service people who failed to read my responses to the last person and give me the same answers and forcing me to repeate myself multiple times. This is either a chat bot getting feed my emails as new conversations every couple of messages or a very lazy and unhelpful customer service team. I am just trying to work out some way I don't end up with no shoes and out $60.

I’m very disappointed with Allbirds men’s shoes, especially considering the premium price and the brand’s reputation.After around 6 months of normal, everyday use, the shoes started ripping from the insole, and the damage then spread to the surrounding material. This wasn’t due to heavy use, sports, or any misuse—just regular walking and office wear. Once the insole area began tearing, the shoes quickly became uncomfortable and unusable.For shoes marketed as high-quality and sustainable, this level of durability is unacceptable. The insole is a core part of the shoe, and it should not fail this quickly under normal conditions. The materials feel weak, and the overall construction does not justify the price.Allbirds may look good and feel comfortable initially, but based on my experience, they are not built to last. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone expecting durability or long-term value

Allbirds is not processing returns in Australia and no longer has customer service there
Allbirds seems to be shutting down, as they no longer have customer service in Australia. I purchased a pair of shoes online a month ago, and am unable to return them as the website isn't working, and no one at their "help" email address has replied to my emails about it. So, if you buy anything from Allbirds and it isn't suitable you'll likely be stuck with it.

I’ve been a long-term customer and this was my 7th pair of shoes from this brand, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing.I purchased two pairs of Men’s Tree Runner Go and found them extremely uncomfortable, particularly through the arches of my feet, despite ordering my usual size (11) and despite the strong “wear-all-day comfort” claims advertised on the website.The shoes were worn only briefly to assess fit and comfort. Customer support later acknowledged that the wear was minimal, yet refused a refund and stated that returns must show “zero signs of wear”.Instead of a refund, I was offered only a gift card (minus an $8 return fee) or an exchange.The customer service process was slow, difficult to engage with, and required repeated follow-ups. Despite requesting escalation, I was not provided access to a manager for review.I provided photos before returning the shoes and tried to resolve the issue respectfully. The way this return was handled felt misleading and unfair. The comfort claims did not reflect the product I received, and the overall experience left me feeling deceived and very disappointed.Based on my experience, I would strongly caution other customers.
