A very professional company. They took car of my car, and prior to this, my son used them to ship his truck. Everyone in the office, to Everyone I dealt with that worked in the yard, all were courteous and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs their vehicles shipped. Your team has excellent customer service skills: they are patient, while being thorough and friendly. I called several times prior to booking to clarify process, costs, etc - and everytime folks were so kind and willing to talk me through everything. For something as foreign and stressful as shipping a personal car - this was invaluable.

I have used ACT in the past with great success, which is the reason I used them this time. I know getting my truck from Anchorage to Fairbanks can vary in time based on weather. I have reached out multiple times to ACT, which continues to say when it arrives they will contact me. I have been told that messages have been sent to management, and they would reach out to me. At this point, no-one has reached out to me. My frustration is because there is not ETA so I can make appropriate plans while it is on the way. If it is going to be a few days, that is one thing, but if it is going to be an extra few weeks, then that affects what I do. I just want some ETA and response.
Transport was fast and easy. Vehicle arrived a day early which was great. Only thing I would say is ACT and MATSON need to work together to update their transportation specifications. There was a lot of things I read on the initial paperwork that when speaking with MATSON at drop off didn’t apply when shipping to the lower 48 and was only specific to Hawaii that wasn’t stated in the paperwork; a lot of money could have been saved had it been noted in the paperwork.

When I arrived at the port to drop off my vehicle, I was told that my scheduled drop-off date was the day prior. This was despite the fact that I had the correct drop-off date from Alaska Car Transport in writing. As a result, it became a scramble to get my vehicle onto the boat in time.Once my vehicle arrived at its destination port, I received a call from the driver who was transporting my vehicle the remaining eight hours to me. He stated that Alaska Car Transport was not answering their phones and that they needed the company to release the cargo. I then had to call Alaska Car Transport myself to request that they complete this step.I was promised port-to-door service and paid for port-to-door service. However, the driver instructed me to meet him at Lowe’s in my town. After waiting there for over 45 minutes, he called and clarified that he actually meant the Love’s truck stop, which was another 20 minutes out of my way and outside of town.Overall, my experience working with Alaska Car Transport was stressful and unpleasant, and the service did not align with what was promised.

The car was picked in Tucson near our hotel- very convenient. We were able to pick it up early in Anchorage so we’re very happy. The car was indoors so it wasn’t even col delight temps around zero. We were very impressed.
I filled out the outline quote while traveling in the lower 48, they called a couple times asking good questions and got everything set up really easily. Great customer service. A little more expensive than AML but worth it. Car arrived in Alaska on time and in great shape.

Working with the people at Alaska Car Transport was an excellent experience. I shipped a vehicle from Tacoma to Anchorage and was fully informed from the beginning of the process until I picked it up at the Port of Anchorage. In addition, the pricing was quite competitive after searching around extensively. I would highly recommend ACT for the service and value.
