I had recently ordered $140 worth of medication through AKCrx. Unfortunately my pup passed away the day I got the medication. I called to see if I could return it which I doubted as it was medication. Everyone was so kind they told me to keep it and they refunded the cost and fall. Great company to work with

Never Received Medication
I would not recommend AKCPTRX based on my experience. I submitted a prescription for fluoxetine 10 mg tablets on September 4, 2025, and as of now, I still haven’t received it. I reached out to customer service multiple times by email and phone, but the issue was never resolved.This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially when it comes to something as important as medication. I’ve since decided to cancel my relationship with this pharmacy. I hope AKCPTRX takes this feedback seriously and improves their communication and prescription fulfillment process for future patients.

Lost my trust from step one
Their ad from registering my new puppy was VERY misleading. "Free trial" isn't free because you have to utilize autoship. That info was buried at the very end of the finest print. In fact, checkout never even gave me a place to enter a coupon code. Customer support was great when I called. Prices were comparable. But I will not trust a company who uses misleading advertisement to provide a service for me. Starting out on the wrong foot! Thanks but no thanks.

I’ve been receiving my order without no issues for months but last month I didn’t receive it. There’s always a problem to contact the vet, I received several emails about it every month. I think I shouldn’t be the one calling my vet every time. The website is not customer friendly at all. Changing the dosage is a headache and I found out that if you want to stop your auto shipment you can’t! They have the option but it doesn’t work. What is this? Call them several times…no answer! I just sent them an email hoping to solve this situation. Anyway, just want people to know what to expect.

Great service. Helpful staff and on time delivery. Did I mention great prices and fresh product. I previously got nexguard from my vet. It was hard as a rock and my dogs didn’t want to eat it. Couldn’t get them to find the vet…
Couldn’t get them to find the vet approval for a prescription. By the time I received the 10th attempt email I told the company to delete my account and cancel everything because they were still claiming they didn’t get approval. Then I receive two prescription at two different tones, in the mail and my cc has been charged. After they were told they weren’t approved to charge. I also changed the card number on file to prevent this and they went around that to my original cc#to charge.

AKCrx NEVER AGAIN
AKCrx screwed me. I ordered Carprofen on 16 June. The vet faxed back the prescription 3 times. I finally intervened 8 days ago and verified AKCrx had the prescription. Well guess what 8 days later (02 July) no carprofen. Called again, after being on hold forever listing to that obnoxious panio music, they said they would expedite the shipment. NEVER AGAINUpdate: got an email saying my prescription was approved on 8 July and shipped with a 25% discount. Let's see: ordered 16 June not approved until 8 July. 23 days. Still waiting for it to show up in the United States Postal service.

UPDATE -- I'd like to commend AKCRx for their follow up to my problem. I received a personal phone call from someone at "corporate" who apologize for my experience. They reviewed the file and admitted there was a serious disconnect between them and my vet where the faxed approved script was not electronically going into my file so the prescription could be processed. The young lady said they are looking into the matter to determine what the problem was so that it can be fixed. I'm expecting an auto-refill in August. We'll see how this goes.This was a disaster. My vet faxed and e-mailed their prescription approval 4 times, and yet AKCRx requested approval a FIFTH time via e-mail. It wasn't until my Vet's office called and had a phone conversation with AKCRx (following their having complied with AKCRx repeated requests) that my approved prescription moved forward and was filled.

Great flea protection at a great price!
The recent heat has caused a significant increase in fleas, and my service dogs regular flea prevention medication was not providing enough protection. My vet recommended Simparica, which was not only available from AKCRx… it was available for far less than I had expected to pay, and was shipped and received within 3 days!

I switched to your pharmacy because of getting my fur babies their meds and needed preventative . You haven taken care of notifying their vet and letting me know ASAPOnce you got the script it was shipped and had it within the 3 to 5 days Usually less Last pharmacy started out good than took way too long could never really talk to themIt was getting to the point of trying to get scripts from our pharmacy which would cost more or they didn't carry it Thank you for caring enough to take care and calling our Vets for script right away and being fair in pricingEspecially in times like these and people have budgets but we have a responsibility to our pets they are family Our Veterinarian and staff could not be any better and now I found a good pharmacy Thank you

Flexibility is not their thing.
Working with this pet pharmacy has been almost painless. They only dispense in three month and six month intervals. Sometimes with three dogs you need to be more flexible and they are not.
