Missy had to to fix a problem created by fitfth third pnline banking system . The technical aspects of their system is unreliable. Thankful for Missy to help me otherwise i would choose another bank
I've been banking with 53 since you was Citizens Bank (over 40 years).
Very informative and efficient
Absolutely terrible!!!Their ATM ate my debit card and the company from it will not reimburse my replacement just because I’m not a customer. The fact that they will not take responsibility for their machines, only placed me to report the issue to authorities. I can afford to lose $20 but it’s the principal that this company will not take responsibility for people’s cards.

I have a credit card with this bank. My bill balance was 675.80 and it was due 3/5/26. I set up a payment on my 53 app for 3/4. The payment didn’t go through. I called and was told it didn’t go through because I had canceled the payment! I KNEW I HAD NOT CANCELLED! I was told I had to set up payment again. I asked the service rep if she was CERTAIN that I wouldn’t have two payments coming out and she assured me I would not. She stated again that the 1st payment had been cancelled. TWO PAYMENTS CAME OUT! I called 5TH3RD and was told to call back in 7 DAYS to dispute the charge and then it would take another 10 days for them to MAIL ME A CHECK! No electronic refunds! They also told me any new charges would be deducted from my refund, even though payment for those would not be due for a month! I had to call my own bank to dispute the double payment! AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH FIFTH THIRD BANK! They have highly questionable business practices and really lousy customer service!

I feel at home here. The tellers greet me as soon as walk in. The ask if I have an appointment and they immediately go check. I don't sit ands wait I love this bank
We were treated well & given clear information. A good experience.
Christina helped my husband get an expedited Debit card for upcoming International travel. He and I went back later in the day and they were very busy (first weekday of the month at lunchtime) and everyone was very sorry for our delay, but it wasn't very long to wait and Christina gave us personal care and helped add me to the account and we now (2 days later!!) each have Debit cards in hand for our upcoming trip. We will likely be doing more business with 5/3 after we return. She also advised us which 5/3 locations have Euros available and was altogether delightful.
The national "Customer Support" is utter trash. There's no other way to explain the total idiocracy of their support. They interrupt what you are saying before you finish a sentence with "I understand." then repeats back exactly NOT what they "Understand". Two days of pure pain. I lost 4 IQ Points in this time. Constant interruptions, fake robotic platitudes and couldn't fix a damn thing. Me: The phone number you have on record is incorrect, (I understand) SHUDDUP! I want to correct the (I understand) SHUT THE HELL UP!" phone number. I understand you want help with setting up an online account? "NO I DON'T AND SHUTTUP!" I understand, let me send you a code to the phone number we have on file. ARE YOU STUPID? THAT PHONE IS WRONG I need to (I understand) FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! SHUDDUP! So this idiot says Let me send you to a branch to help you. (Hold music) then I get "Thank you for calling Rapid Day Dry Cleaners" at which time my frontal lob of my brain detatches from my skull and flys through my office window.
I was with Kathy. She is one of the best bank people I have ever worked with. She is extremely helpful and extremely nice. I appreciated all of her help, she is amazing and I thought she was a manager with how helpful she was. She helped me open a bank account, as well as a personal account. She gave me a lot of faith in the fifth third bank, and now I tell everyone I know about fifth third bank and how great of a person Kathy is and that they should open up an account with them.
