Vinny at the counter was a up sale…

Vinny at the counter was a up sale king!!!Told me he would do things that he did not.Called me after i dropped it off and tried to extort more money from me. when i would not shell out another 1600 he found other ways to charge me.he kept my license because he forgot to give it back after putting in info, then tried to blame it on me! He said there where holes in the bed of my truck and he took pictures but after saying he would send them he did not. when i asked he to send them to me he refused. Then called me a liar and tried to play the victim. Then he tried to belittle me to a family member who had given me a ride.Needless to say that did not go over well.

Neglience & Deceptive Practices

Ziebart to replace defective paint protective film (PPF), applied to front bumper that was peeling and lifting and authorized for replacement by Ziebart corporate. After replacement, I inspected their work and noticed right corner of the front bumper, old PPF geometric fragments, some with exact vertical and horizontal lines remained underneath the new PPF layer. The fragments were seen and felt. The new PPF layer lifted over the top of the fragments underneath. I pointed this out to the General Manager. He attempted to deflect, stating the fragments were “stone chips” that had “penetrated” the PPF. I pointed out and showed him the new PPF actually RISES OVER the fragments. His statement were both ridiculous, and preposterous. "Stone chip” damage) 1) does not manifest precise horizontal, vertical lines & geometric shapes, especially localized area 2) would create a wider impact and a random pattern across the bumper. This was specific to one small location. After complaining to him he then told me TO MY FACE that he would cover repairs and needed two estimates from TWO body shops.I delivered the estimates to the employee, who would put them on his desk, as he was not in that day.Additionally, not only did I get two estimates from the body shops, I also went to a reputable PPF and detailing shop. They confirmed my findings in a written statement from their technician. I also had a licensed auto insurance adjuster and body repair estimator look at Ziebart’s “handiwork”. He also provided a notarized statement attesting to the same findings. In removing old PPF, the Ziebart workers pulled some of the clearcoat off in that area. They put the fragments back and put new PPF over the top to cover it up. To repair damage, cost $1200.The general manager later refused to honor the estimates provided to him. I contacted Ziebart Corporate and spoke with the “Senior Customer Service and Training Administrator”, also sending her all the complete correspondence & statements, including pictures. Her email response was that there was nothing she could do, as each franchise is individually run. Complaint also filed with NY State Attorney General’s office, but reported they could not get a response from company.
