Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company, ever since they merged with wrench they have been scamming customers, I locked in with them for $161 they waited till a couple hours before my appointment to tell me that they made a mistake and the new price has changed to $450 , as a legit company you would think they would honor the price they advertised online ? Instead they tell me I either pay or cancel my appointment. I requested to speak to a supervisor and he was rude. Now I have to wait 7-10 business days when they took my money within a second. Don’t fall for their fake advertisement this company is crooked.

Terrible
Terrible. Gave me a quote, then 3 days later sent a mechanic who had no idea what the job entailed, told me he didn't have the tools to do it, suggested I take it to a shop, then charged me $150 "callout fee" and left. Absolutely worthless. Don't hire these people.

A scam after purchase you setup an account you put vechicle information in and set up a virtual vechicle inspection. There after the virtual inspection your account is supposed to be activated 24-48 hours later once account is processed. Tottaly not the case it’s one person the same person answering the phone you will speak with no one else and you’ll be told that it actually states that all accounts will not be accessible until 60 days later WHAT. I’m telling you it’s a scam I’ve filed a complaint with the better buisness bureau and will be filing a small claims civil suit do not make the same mistake as me

I scheduled them to come out twice and the problem was not diagnosed correctly or fixed. When I asked for them to help and get it corrected, I was told I would have to pay for all the services again. DON'T USE, TOTAL SCAM. YOUR VEHICLE WILL NOT GET REPAIRED ONLY SUGGESTIONS!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I scheduled a diagnostic appointment for my vehicle and the mechanic cancelled without proper communication. When I asked about getting an actual diagnostic test performed (cooling system pressure test / combustion gas test), I was told a ‘basic diagnostic’ was only a visual inspection and general advice.Paying for a ‘diagnostic’ that’s essentially just looking at the car and guessing is not what most customers expect. The communication was unprofessional and the interaction felt dismissive/rude. I would not recommend if you’re looking for real diagnostics or services that are beyond basic knowledge like oil changes or brakes”

I would AVOID this company if I were you! They are a total total fraud and grift company.
On 12/3 'Wrench Inc' sent a highly unqualified mechanic (Cesar) to change an alternator on my 2008 Toyota Avalon. After disassembling some parts on the vehicle the mechanic abandoned the job. After a full day of dealing with 'Wrench' on the phone (several different people), 'Wrench' sent the same mechanic back out to complete the job on 12/4 . The mechanic reassembled most (not all) of the vehicle parts and again abandoned the job without changing the alternator which was the primary reason for the service. I had to contact a real mobile mechanic (Dan) to complete the alternator job and finish assembly of the parts that 'Wrench' left undone. Complete serice took Dan about 1.75 hours (kudos to Dan). 'Wrench' than charged my CC for $224.24 for services not provided which are now in dispute. Use 'Wrench Inc' mobile mechanic service at your own risk, IF I WERE YOU, I WOULDN'T!

Poor Workmanship and Refusal to Take Responsibility
I’ve been a long-time customer of Wrench.com and have spent thousands of dollars with them over the years, but this experience has completely changed my view of the company. In April 2025, a Wrench.com mechanic named Kevin replaced my rear brakes. He was the last person to remove and reinstall my rear wheel. Recently, I ended up with a flat tire and discovered that one of the lug nuts had been cross-threaded, making the wheel impossible to remove. This is not normal wear and tear — it is the result of improper installation.Despite this:Wrench.com charged me $150 to send another mechanic out for a “warranty check”They confirmed the issueThen they refused to cover the cost of removing the damaged lug nutAnd refused to refund the $150, even though the issue traces directly back to their prior serviceWrench.com was the last company to touch the wheel, yet they are refusing to take responsibility for the damage caused by their mechanic’s work. As a result, I’m left with a flat tire I can’t remove and out additional money for their mistake. This situation shows a serious lack of accountability and customer care. Loyal customers shouldn’t have to fight to have obvious workmanship issues corrected.I would strongly caution anyone considering Wrench.com to think twice, especially if something goes wrong — because based on my experience, they may not stand behind their work.

Precharged me $224 for an oil change
Precharged me $224 for an oil change. Mechanic showed up and asked if I had the supplies. What?! I was never told that I’d need to pay over 100% more for an oil change AND furnish the needed supplies/tools. Mechanic said he was going to call the company and ask if he could buy the supplies. He drove off and never returned my text. I was willing to go to the auto store to get the supplies just to get it done. It’s 1 mile from my home.Tried to reach customer service by phone and email. Was never called back. Took 13 days for them to cancel my appointment and refund my money. Had to go through my bank to do it. Complete scam.

No-show after waiting for over an hour
Scheduled service for today, they already pre-authorized my card, after waiting for an hour and 15 minutes I received a text that they need to reschedule for Monday. I tried to call but cannot reach anyone...

I paid Wrench for a PCV/oil separator…
I paid Wrench for a PCV/oil separator repair on my Audi Q7, and immediately afterward my car developed major issues I NEVER had before, a check engine light and a low oil warning. When the technician came back for the follow-up, he refused to let me speak, instantly claimed the issue “wasn’t related,” and then cleared both the check engine light and the low oil warning without my permission while I stepped inside for a moment. That was shocking, unprofessional, and felt very deceitful. He then tried to claim the code “had been there before,” which is completely untrue. I had my vehicle independently scanned, and the issue clearly started after the PCV repair.I was told the tech was Audi-certified, but his behavior and lack of transparency said otherwise. Clearing warnings without permission — especially an oil warning — is unsafe and unacceptable.Wrench needs to address this situation immediately. Very disappointed and concerned.

Terrible
Terrible. No show and didn't tell me they'd no show. Got stuck on a call with their call center in Philippines who said they could get me in the next day. I asked to speak to a manager, and then was told it'd take 24-48 hours for a manager to call back. Don't use.

Guess that Part
Had first mechanic (Supposedly ASE Certified) look at the car, was certain about issue and sent ticket back for idler pulley to be installed, and charged me again. Then when the new mechanic came and changed recommended part, same issue still occuring; This time told alternator was issue and the charge is $690 ( with $400 charge for $100 part from Advanced/Autozone) and $290 charge for labor hours.

I would give a zero if I could
I would give a zero if I could. Today they took out money out of my account for a job that was done 4 1/2 months ago. When they are saying they replaced my starter when in fact the mechanic said my old one is good so he just put the old one back in. Why did it take them 4 1/2 months to take my money for a job they never did. The guy on the other end would not transfer me to a manger when asked. So I got charged for a job there mechanic lied about doing. Then still after that I had them come look at my car 2 months later and they could not find anything wrong with it when it would not start. They don’t know what they are doing please don’t use them reporting them to the BBB.

I've used this company before with no problems. But, today's appointment for a simple service on my Volvo was horrible. The appt was for 2:30-4:30p. I received 3 phone calls changing the appt time...from 2:30 changed to 6pm, then the mechanic shows up c. 3-3:30. Then the guy had to leave and go buy oil. Then the original quote of $160 ended up being c. $213. I was shocked and angry. The company lures innocent customers (like me), with a quote that ends up being much more. It's not the mechanic's fault, but this company is not trustworthy. Based on today's completely miserable experience, I will definitely NOT use this company again, and I would never recommend them. Completely unprofessional with absolutely no customer service.

Warranty issue
Made an appointment to have brake pads replaced due to loud noises coming from the brakes while driving. This was the second brake job I had with them. Everything went well the first time, but I had an issue this second time. I thought that the warranty had expired but I was informed by their mechanic that it was still under warranty. He gave me the information to contact the warranty dept. The warranty dept kept giving reason after reason why they won't give any type of refund. From I should of called for warranty service first thing- I explained I would of but I thought it expired already. They ended saying they understand from my point of view but then started talking about they still won't give any type of warranty service and then started talking about the inconsistency in the amount of wear on brake pads by different vehicles and drivers. He went on and on about this and stated his supervisor had the same opinion on it. I just gave up at that point As a follow-up to the wrench/YourMechanic unsigned auto response to this complaint about their concern and want to help,I contacted, left messages, to the number listed with ZERO response back.

Great Mechanic, Weak Warranty
I used YourMechanic.com to replace the 12-volt battery on my hybrid. The technician arrived on time, was professional, and the service was very convenient — no complaints there. The downside? The battery only came with a 12-month warranty and it failed after just 16 months. That’s frustrating and costly, especially for a hybrid where quality parts really matter.YourMechanic is great for convenience and professionalism, but if you're replacing something major like a battery, ask about the warranty first.
