My biggest complaint are the hurdles and deceitful billing practices this company has. I cancelled the same day the subscription renewed. The payment they attempted to take was unsuccessful because my card had $0 (I don't keep money in this account.) 2 weeks after the first payment declined and the service was suppose to be "cancelled" I deposited money into this checking account and they took their subscription fee immediately. I called into customer service and was told its nonrefundable and submitted a ticket which was also rejected. I had to call my bank and block zoom from being associated with my account just in case they tried this again. Id recommend to use google meet or some other video meeting platform that can do the exact same thing at either a lower cost or no cost at all. Zoom is deceitful and unreasonable.

Garbage company. I've been a monthly customer for years and every now and then, I cancel my subscription for a couple of months due to not having use for the platform at that time. Afterwards I always resubscribe. This time, I accidentally forgot to cancel my subscription until the day of, and it had already gone through. I immediately reached out to their support email which is no longer in service. So I put in a support ticket to get the charge reversed and they denied it. Even though it had literally only been a couple of hours since it went through. They said they don't give refunds. Absolute garbage company. What kind of idiots treat their customers so terribly and expect to stay in business. You lost a customer for many decades into the future. I hope it was worth the $23.F*** you zoom. I hope you go out of business (I'd be suprised if you don't). I'm also selling my shares.

Very Poor Technical Support
On 2/11/2026, I tried to view and listen to a video but for some unknown reason, there was no audio. The audio was working correctly on my computer and I could listen to YouTube videos and the Zoom settings were correct in Windows 11. I called Support but the only means was by using AI which was totally ineffective. I believe I called more than once. Trying to contact Zoom to get support was very frustrating. If I remember correctly, I started a Chat and was able to contact a person in Billing somehow who said I would be receiving an email. The man wrote on 2/11/2026, "Thank you for reaching out to Zoom Billing today. This is Warren—it was a pleasure speaking with you earlier. As we discussed, I have coordinated with our Technical Support Team to ensure your case gets the specialized attention it needs. You should receive an email from them shortly to continue the investigation. If you need assistance with anything else in the future, please don't hesitate to reach back out."On 2/13/2026, I received a response which was not helpful at all! Today, on 2/13/2026, I responded saying, "You still have not resolved the issue! Your Support is not effective." In the email I received, it has a link to escalate the issue but I could not use it.On 2/13/2026, I received the following message, "Hello Wayne, Thank you for your response!I sincerely apologize for the trouble you're having with your meetings. I truly wish I could fix this for you right now, but since my tools are focused on billing, I can only offer basic troubleshooting. I don't want to give you the wrong technical advice. I highly suggest subscribing to one of our Zoom plans. Once you have an active subscription, we can immediately escalate any technical concerns to our specialized Technical Support team for more in-depth assistance and long-term solutions. Feel free to let me know if you need further assistance.Best Regards,Ferlie"I wrote, in response, "You still have resolved nothing! I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and will leave a message on Trustpilot.com as result of providing no resolution to a technical problem with your Zoom video audio. No audio apparently is not that important for you to resolve!

No customer service--AI assistants and bots. There's an item in the Zoom cart that I didn't put there and don't want. I checked for information about Webinars but absolutely didn't order it. Customer "service" does a run around through a maze of AI crap and still unable to contact a human being. Just want to remove an item that I don't want and if other complaints are any indication, I will likely be charged for even though I'm not ordering it. Wish I had read reviews before I created an account. Who owns this company? Where is their headquarters?

Improvement in privacy and security of the app
The privacy, security, and performance of an app have improved rapidly since the last update. End-to-end encryption is better now, and the meeting capacity is OK even in the free version of the app. Human customer support is now timely and easily available. Have a nice day.

I'm getting emails all the time for zoom meetings. I dont why. I keep unsubscribing but they keep coming. The emails are coming from no-reply at zoom.usI will never use zoom ever again. I tried to login with the same email but I cant login for some reason.

Wish I could give this 0 stars. Throughout the last 2 weeks, I have had very important meetings to attend for my senior year. I had to repeatedly apologize to tutoring services for joining 10mins late due to the app being slow, and not even letting me join when I press join. I was asked to turn on my video, but it didn't work. Just now, I had a group tutoring session and the audio and my mic were not working. Also the app slows down every other application on my device, making it difficult to write notes on the device during classes. I am now extremely behind everybody else in class. And I restart my laptop every 2 days, and keep it up to date. UX is horrible. So difficult to use. Even Microsoft Teams is better.

REGARDING: INV #33732952I tried numerous times to get a refund of $159.90 from ZOOM, because I DID NOT ASK FOR A PLAN. ZOOM charged me for an UNAUTHORIZED, FRAUDULENT, ZOOM PRO PLAN for $159.90. ZOOM had the audacity of saying "I needed to go through Google Play to dispute the charge."The $159.90 unauthorized charge to my bank account on January 12th 2026, was made by ZOOM. I did not receive any charge from ZOOM, no invoice, no phone call, absolutely nothing. The only thing that alerted me was the charge to my bank account on my debit card for $159.90. I *Never gave ZOOM my debit card number. ZOOM took my debit card number from Google Play, another unauthorized, fraudulent act. This is the worst customer service of any business I've ever dealt with. I'm going to write a review that states,"DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ZOOM HERE ON THIS SITE, THEY ARE UNRELIABLE, DISHONEST, THEY MADE FRAUDULENT CHARGES ON MY DEBIT CARD THEY TOOK FROM GOOGLE PLAY, YOU CANNOT GET ANY HELP, THEY DROP YOUR CHAT ON PURPOSE, YOU GET ANOTHER CHAT PERSON, THEY DROP THE CHAT IN MID CHATTING, NO ONE WILL HELP YOU. Need ability to remain logged in from multiple computers
Extremely useful tool. Use it many times a week and love it. One of the things for improvements would be to let users remain logged in from multiple apps to make it truly mobile. Sometime, I start a meeting from office computer, then switch to mobile while driving, then switch back to home computer. But this isn't working smoothly as they would not let me remain logged in both computers!

This felt more like a scam than real customer service. This company bills in my case without warning before the renewing another full year of use. A trap for the the unsuspecting into iron clad agreements (check the tiny print) that once they take money off you account it's theirs. Even if you cancelled the account according to the contract before the next full year payment you may find yourself billed for yet another full year.Finding a way to contact help, diverted at every point by a convoluted website protochol as you try to find how to contact "customer service" and at least plead your case for a refund. Even then, supposed human help gives you chat bot answers that confirm you will never get a refund for a "service" you cancelled, do not want re-newed and will not even use ever again. Zoom..I don't think so!

Basically not functioning
Whenever I have the app downloaded my webcam light comes on randomly and without my request. I also have just missed a job interview because Zoom refused to sign me in. After going through multiple MFA/verifications I finally got into the meeting 10 mins later, on a different device. Completely unacceptable. Also, when typing in the verification codes and switching between the number input boxes it would return to the letter only keypad rather than sticking to the number keypad, and it was impossible to go back and delete the incorrect letter entered due to this switch.

I contacted Zoom billing immediately to request a refund.Support was polite but completely inflexible. No real help. Just links to terms and instructions on how to cancel after the billing period ends — in 2027.No attempt to understand the situation. No goodwill. Just “non-refundable” repeated again and again.This feels rigid and greedy, especially for a long-time customer who reached out right after the charge.I expected better customer care from a company of this size.
