Robust tool for revenue management

I have used this software for thousands of listings across the US and abroad. As a full time revenue professional in the short term rental space, I cannot say enough good things about this product. It is robust and allows for all of the customizations I need- which are a lot. At the end of the day, this product has put more money into the hands of my clients and makes my job tremendously easier. Win-win.Customer service is also top notch- responding to my middle of the night inquiries with 24/7 availability.

Why Can’t Wheelhouse Understand Holidays?

Wheelhouse is a solid pricing tool, but it still needs a few important tweaks. One of the biggest limitations is its rigid handling of time-based pricing—you’re forced to define seasons or periods by full calendar months or set manual daily overrides.That creates headaches around holidays. For example, summer starts with Memorial Day, but Wheelhouse doesn’t let you shift that last week of May into your summer pricing—so you have to carve it out as an exception. Same goes for Thanksgiving in November and Christmas/New Year's in late December: early parts of those months are slower and warrant discounts, but the holiday weeks boom with demand. Right now, the only way to reflect that is through lots of manual edits.As a developer, I find it puzzling that they haven’t implemented user-defined date ranges or flexible pricing “blocks.” Expanding from a 12-month matrix to 40–50 customized periods shouldn’t be overly complex—it’s mostly just about applying date-based pricing logic at a more granular level.Wheelhouse is close to being great. It just needs to catch up with how the real world books—and price accordingly. I'm going to submit a second review of Wheelhouse—this time to spotlight their outstanding customer service.Simply put, they're unmatched. Support is available 24/7 via chat, and the team is consistently friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Even when the software lacks a particular feature, they don’t just shrug—they suggest thoughtful workarounds that help me move forward.In a world where “customer service” too often means frustration, delays, or scripted responses, Wheelhouse sets the gold standard. Honestly, I can’t think of a single way they could improve. While many companies struggle to meet basic expectations—and I find myself rooting for AI to take over support—Wheelhouse proves that exceptional human service still exists.They’ve earned my trust, and then some.

It pays for itself many times over by maximizing occupancy. I'd never be able to constantly adjust pricing dynamically like Wheelhouse does.

Dynamic pricing, perfect for STRs

We have been using Wheelhouse for the past year for our Airbnb. While you can customize options, the automation works great for most things. It has increased our revenue and we don’t even have to think about it! Would highly recommend. I only wish I knew about them sooner!

We are a property management company…

We are a property management company managing nearly 20 short-let properties, and our experience with Wheelhouse has been extremely disappointing. The software has caused significant losses in revenue due to its inaccurate pricing recommendations. It consistently undervalues our properties, which not only impacts our revenue but also undermines the value of the services we provide to our clients.Despite the promise of dynamic and optimised pricing, the software often seemed disconnected from real market trends and failed to adjust prices appropriately. This led to missed opportunities and underperforming listings. On top of that, the constant issues and lack of reliable support made the whole experience frustrating.Overall, I fail to see the point of using Wheelhouse. It created more problems than it solved and ultimately cost us time, money, and trust. I would not recommend this software to anyone serious about maximising revenue in the short-let market.

Works

Works! I am learning a lot. And whenever you have questions or need guidance, you can schedule an appointment with an actual person. They offer a lot of training and how-to videos which I appreciate. I have also attended a few of the Round Tables - a webinar over zoom with leaders in the short term industry- from which I gained excelllent tips that have strengthened my pricing strategies. One thing to note: for real results, owners need to participate and reassess as time goes by. It's not an auto pilot situation. The other thing that is awesome is that the prices are forecast out, so I was able to make a price quote for a returning guest 12 months in advance. Such a relief to work with data and not guessing.

Wheelhouse gives peace of mind

I bought Wheelhouse to manage my prices as I felt that Airbnb dynamic pricing was underselling me. Since I have installed Wheelhouse, I am getting better prices in line with actual market and historic data. I now have peace of mind and just monitor the predictive pricing from time to time just to see how it is going.

The software and Service is the best one out there

The software is the best one out there, the most precise and detailed, its oriented to automate your pricing strategy, maybe its not for someone who doesnt know what they are doing, you need to care and put your own knowladge. The technical service was amazing, i had a couple of difficult and specific questions and they researched to give me the best answers, really profesional, on point and the best treatment.

Total scam

Total scam. Cold calls at all hours of the day. Will not take no for an answer. Even if they had a product that was relevant to my business (which they don’t ) I would never do business with them after their seemingly unending harassment.

We've been using Wheelhouse for over 2 years now and the difference in our revenue and occupancy has improved greatly over what it used be when we were handling it manually. The low percentage that they charge is well worth it.

My income and occupancy rate have both increased since I got this product. Only 2 months in but it's made a noticeable difference for the little cost of their product. It's encouraging me to buy more properties.

Increased bookings with less work

Pricing very off and only works for Airbnb not Vrbo

Pricing very off and only works for Airbnb not Vrbo. It changed my airbnb price to the lowest possible even for Thanksgiving day which is supposed to be the 2nd highest rate day for the whole year. I would have a penalty for canceling the booking on Airbnb. I did a cross board research on my own and found out their so called dynamic pricing is totally off from our competitors in the market. I didn't even ask for any compensation or refund for the poor service for the previous months but a refund for the month I didn't book anything and only a few days after they charged me for the next billing cycle. They wouldn't even refund the $20 I requested. I switched to Beyondpricing and now I get bookings constantly and my occupancy rate is higher than most without lowering my pricing to the bottom.
