DONT BUY IF A RETURN MIGHT BE NEEDED
I bought two adjustable wrenches from True Value store in North Branford Connecticut on 5/13/24. They were in plastic sealed packages which obviously had to be opened to examine them and use them. Upon doing so it was found that the heads were loose. When I tried to return them on 5/14/24, I was told that I couldn't do so because the packages had been opened.I am out $11.99 and $14.99 plus CT sales tax for two defective wrenches which I can't use.True Value Hardware customer service says they aren't responsible for how their stores treat "TRUE VALUE" customers.DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM TRUE VALUE HARDWARE STORES IF THERE IS ANY CHANCE OF A RETURN BEING NEEDED.
