Top Dollar doesn’t give Top or honest Valuations on Used Cars!
Clearly all these google reviews are being written by Top Dollar employees. My experience was horrendous! The guy (Marty) came to me and was polite at the beginning but after saying that there were only minor cosmetic issues on my car, running an electronic diagnostic which showed the car had no mechanical/electrical issues, his appraisal was $1,000 under the low KBB appraisal. That’s when the lies began, talking about how I had said that the car was perfect, which I never said. He claimed that the KBB valuation was wrong & didn’t include the years old minor accident which is clearly a lie! KBB has direct access to Carfax and showed it in the valuation! Don’t call Top Dollar unless you enjoy being lied to and ripped off! I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy! Run in the opposite direction!

Sold my car to Top Dollar Car a few days ago. I couldn’t believe how easy the entire process was. Received notice from my bank within the week that the balance on my loan was already paid off. The last time I sold my car to a dealership, it took close to a month to have the loan paid off. Strongly recommend Top Dollar Car

This company has changed their name to Top Auto Direct to hide from previous reviews. I purchased a Kia Soul from Eric at Top Auto Direct (Top Dollar Car) in September 2025 for $13,500 cash. I have been waiting patiently and with conflicting information on when they will process my tags and title to my car. October 21st after no updates I contacted them again for a status and was told everything was sent to their tag office. Since the drive out tag expired I had them send me another one. After yet again no follow up or updates so I contacted them again on November 1st and was told that my paperwork was sent to and being processed by my local tag agency and they received the paperwork on October 15th. Okay great I then asked for the tracking number so I can go into my local office so they will be able to find the paperwork and process it in person. Eric then sends me a tracking number that has a status of "Label Created" and the package being located in NJ. I purchased car from Florida and live in Tennessee so why is it in NJ. So it was never sent to my local office at all. He then tells me it will be sent on November 11th. It is now November 12th and "Label Created" in NJ is still the status. Beware of this company. I'm not sure what is going on but I will not be taken advantage of or continue to be lied to. I have attached the screenshots of the messages below.

Jenny has the some things to learn
After being told by Jenny (I believe that is her name) the sales manager that the Dodge D2500 was available I traveled the 65 miles to try the vehicle out. I was met by Mehdi Benzakour who apologetic in notifying me that the truck was not there. He promised me that he could have it back quickly and asked me to begin the process if I decided to buy. An appraisal was completed on my trade. For the next 1 1/2 I waited patiently and then Mehdi suggested that I leave to visit my sister which I hoped I could include on this trip. He told me he would text me when the truck was brought back. 2 1/2 more hours passed without the call. I called back to notify someone to let Mehdi know I wasn't willing to wait any longer. The next day I found Mehdi's test unit on the floor of my truck and I called Jenny to tell of the find. She said someone would get back to me to let me know what would be done. I never received another call. For me, integrity is a big thing. This company failed miserable
