Expensive Returns

If you are purchasing from Australia or overseas be aware that returns will be pricey even though it states on their homepage ‘Easy returns for Australia’. Ended up being quoted $100+ to organise and pay shipping for returning the product back to US. Also duties and handling fees and initial shipping costs are deducted off the refund causing the complete estimated return process to cost over $200. If quoting Easy returns, the company should at a minimum be able to offer return shipping labels.

The exchange from Australia is super expensive

The boots were too big, needed smaller size.The exchange to Australian customer will cost nearly 50% of the boot's price, despite funny claim by Thursday Boots company of "easy return for Australian customers". You will have to post the boots to New York and pay again for the new pair... will cost nearly AU$150. The company does not wish to deal with any local retailers, hence wait until they do. If you are in Australia, do not buy, could be very expensive lesson.

Utter failure in customer service.

Utter failure in customer service.These shoes are less than 90 days old and have been worn fewer than five times because they cause severe foot pain and are simply not wearable. After extensive back-and-forth with customer service, I was told the last used for this model is designed for wide, flat feet—which does not match my foot at all. That alone explains the problem, yet no meaningful solution was offered.Instead of standing behind their product or showing any flexibility, they refused to offer store credit or a reasonable exchange so I could try a different style. Their only “solutions” were to charge me for return shipping or offer a 50% discount to spend even more money on a brand that already failed me.I understand companies need policies, but good companies also understand customer experience and long-term loyalty. As a first-time customer, this was a perfect opportunity to make it right. Instead, they chose rigidity over customer care.The shoes are unwearable, and the customer service was even worse. This brand has made it clear they value policy over people.I won’t be purchasing from them again.

They take for ever to respond

They messed up both my orders. Sent me the wrong item and customer service takes a eternity to respond. Huge fan of the shoe but their customer service is the worst.

200 USD leather boots that lasted 2 months

Purchased the Duke boot after a positive experience with their Diplomat boot a few years ago. After 2 months of light wear (wearing it only on office days 2-3 times week, primarily indoor), parts of the leather started coming off. I contacted their customer service and requested a return. What I have received as a response is that this is the result of the shoe polish being used on the boots rather than an acknowledgement of poor product quality. Unbelievably poor customer service. This was my last purchase from them. Update: Following Thursdayboots reply below, I have provided the requested contact details. Sadly, no one reached out until now.

I’ve been shopping for leather jackets…

I’ve been shopping for leather jackets for four months. I literally have had to send three back that I bought on Amazon because the quality was not good. I took a chance in order a jacket from Thursday boots. It arrived today. It is absolutely spot on and fabulous. Worth every penny. The leather is perfect. The style is perfect. The smell is incredible. I’m just sorry that I’ve wasted so much time with all those other places and I didn’t go here first thank you guys for everything that you’ve done helping me wow.

One comment though, it is (my European perspective) that their shoe sizes runs a little big. However, I highly recommend this company!

Great customer service.

Thursday Boots are very well made and the quality is excellent. But what matters even more is knowing that if any issue ever comes up, their customer service will go out of their way to make it right.

Buyer beware

I tried to exchange a pair of boots in mint condition - original packaging, only tried on indoors. After multiple interrogative emails and eight photos, Thursday Boot Company refused the exchange, even though they are currently selling the exact same boot at full price. Their “solution”? $50 off another purchase.This is rigid, short-sighted customer service dressed up as policy. If something doesn’t fit quite right, don’t expect reason or flexibility - expect resistance.Plenty of brands stand behind their product and their customers. This isn’t one of them.

Boots seem fine

Boots seem fine. But with tariffs right now if you are international DO NOT order. They certainly do have info on their return policy. But the fact the customer is responsible for all return shipping/duties/tariffs means that it was well over $140 to return the boots. If you’re international - don’t bother. Order from one of the many other companies that actually offers free returns

Don’t go near this company ordered a pair of boots got the size wrong free return oh wait they make it it so Difficult paid myself £60 ouch Stupid me ordering a replacement took 2weeks to arrive what a disaster smells like Chemicals as for a refund your joking 🙃 was expecting a full refund £225 no chance £173 said it was to do with shipping custom ect the list goes on Stay well of this site 😡😡😡😡😡

Two day shipping to EU

Two day shipping to Lithuania - you read that correctly! I don't know how, but I placed an order and picked up my Thursday Heritage Captains in 48 hours. I chose the rustic brown for a classier look. These are my first high quality boots and I love them! Gambled for a US 10 when I normally wear EU 43 and ended up with a comfy fit and plenty of toe wiggle room or space for a welt insole as sometimes there is a need for one during the winters here. I would like to try US 9.5 as well, but I'm happy with the fit now, too. Definitely takes time to get used to the angled heel - it's something that breaks your stride at first, but it is not necessarily a negative thing. The build quality overall is great, the leather is amazing - no scars out of the box, no water or salt marks after multiple walks in the salty city snow. I will definetly return for other products in the future!

Amazing Customer Service AND Shoes

I bought a pair of their Women's Premier Low Tops and paid for 2 day shipping because I was going out of town and needed them ASAP. The day they were supposed to arrive, OnTrac's arrival status changed to the following day, which would be too late. I angrily emailed customer service at Thursday Boot Co. explaining the situation, and they immediately responded and refunded me for the cost of the expedited shipping. Then, the shoes ended up being delivered on time!The shoes themselves are great quality - well made and were surprisingly easy to keep clean even though they're white. My first time wearing them I spent about 12 hours with them on (attending a Backstreet Boys show in Vegas, followed by another show at XS) and they were a joy to wear the entire time! No blisters or discomfort of any sort, which is a first for me because I have high arches! I highly recommend this company!

Incorrect size advice and impossible returns

They gave me incorrect sizing advice and made return impossible from the UK. Additionally, they delete Instagram comments that tell the truth.Honestly, this is not customer service - its total joke.Just don't buy from Thursday boots, buy some local brands that actually care about you.

Not worth the risk

Not worth the risk! When the pair finally arrived they don't fit and now its going to cost me £40 to return them. The company isn't built for ecommerce and definitely not built for the UK market.

Absolutely do not order anything from…

Absolutely do not order anything from this company, the sizes are completely wrong, and when you request a refund you have to pay the Royal Mail postage which was £48.00 it then takes two months for you to get your money back,Terrible company BUYER BE WARE!!!!’Now they want to edit my review, Please do be vigilant with this company!!!!!!
