Poor customer service
I recently purchased one of the 45 rpm Atlantic Series remasters which was delivered in a respectable time frame. Upon opening the parcel I noticed immediately that the packaging had been opened, the polythene tear off strip was missing and on closer inspection there were finger marks on the vinyl itself. Playback also revealed a fault on the vinyl itself.I contacted TVA who responded within 24 hrs. Unfortunately they showed little concern for the issues and suggested I clean the record myself and that it could not have been opened and perhaps it had come from the factory like that! They said I could send it back, specifying 2nd class mail, for a refund, which I did. The refund was sorted pretty quickly but did not include the cost to myself for postage.So overall I am less than impressed with their attitude and customer service and it actually cost me money to buy an LP off them that was not fit for purpose. I've spend several hundred pounds worth of goods off them previously but I won't be buying anything else in future.
