I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my wife and I received at the Tacovas store located in the Tanger Outlets in Sevierville, Tennessee.We entered the store intending to purchase boots for both of us. There were approximately five sales associates present. One associate briefly asked if we needed help and then walked away. As we continued browsing, we asked multiple times whether ostrich boots were available in my size. Each time, different associates responded dismissively, stating that “whatever is on the shelves is what we have,” and then walked away without offering further assistance.During this time, we observed one associate providing very attentive, personalized service to another (non-Hispanic) couple—answering questions, checking inventory, and actively assisting them. In contrast, my wife and I, who are Hispanic, were repeatedly ignored despite clearly asking for help. At one point, I tried on three different pairs of boots and made eye contact with sales staff, only for them to look away.What made this experience even more troubling was that the associate assisting the other couple actually asked his coworkers to help me, and they still chose not to engage. At that point, feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and unwelcome, we left the store without making a purchase.This was not a matter of the store being busy or understaffed—it was a clear difference in how customers were treated. The experience made us feel singled out and disregarded.I contacted your 1-800 customer service line afterward. While the representative apologized verbally, no follow-up was provided—no email, no acknowledgment, no corrective action, and no attempt to make things right. It felt dismissive and left the impression that my concern was simply brushed aside.This was the first formal complaint I have ever made about a retail experience, and it is deeply disappointing that it involved a brand I had expected to represent quality and professionalism. Based on this experience, I do not feel comfortable shopping at Tacovas again.

I’d leave a 0 star review if I could. Sold me merchandise they didn’t have in stock and then handled the situation terribly, creating a terrible holiday experience. Customer service is flat out incompetent and rude. Unwilling to solve problems. Wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy

Bought a pair of boots a few years ago…
Bought a pair of boots a few years ago now and still love them. I don't wear more than a few hours a week, but they've held up great for what they've been through and look really good. Definitely feel like the quality was worth the value. Went back this November for some apparel and am happy with it.

You get what you pay for!
First, can't find a way to add review on Tecovas.com so I'm coming here...Comfortable and easy break in but with quality issues. 1) first 3 months one of the heel counters losing formation and annoying.2) first year, had to cement heel cap as rubber was lifting off heel.3) within year and half, dark blue color of of shaft has faded to grey.

I purchased my Annie boots The Mall at Green Hill, Nashville, Tn. I chose to have them "branded", in honor of my sorority AKA -pink and green. I have 4 Tecovas with a fifth on the way. I have only pleasant things to say. Comfortable quality good looking products at decent prices. Customer service has always done right by me.

Quality and customer service
I now have 5 pair of boots from Tecovas. All are well made and very comfortable. Their customer service was fantastic on the one pair I returned (due to improper fit), the return and refund were processed very quickly. Their shipping is quick, it has never taken more than 5 days to receive an order. Most have been delivered in 3-4 days. I’m sure that I’ll be ordering from them again.

Boots would not fit won’t honor pre Christmas price when returned for another!
Purchased boots as a Christmas present for my son who has wide feet. Ordered wide boots but he could not get into them. Returned boots and while on route noticed they have a zipper version and they would not allow me to exchange. Would not honor the discount I got when I purchased pre Christmas told me to repurchase at full price!

Very Poor Customer Service
Please issue a full refund. Very disappointing in dealing with your company. You shipped me a size 9.5D boot in an 11.5EE box. When I called in with the issue you still had the correct size in stock when I requested an exchange. You should have held the proper size to fulfill the order as you were already paid. Now you tell me no stock and either refund or store credit; while you have been paid for over a month. Very Poor Customer Service.Will not be getting a good review.

I ordered a The Daisy
I ordered a The Daisy, a $245 pair of Tecova boots. As I placed the order I saw the shipping address was wrong; it was to a distant friend to whom I had recently mailed a book. The page was automatically in "ShopPay." I corrected the shipping address, and clicked forward hoping to get to Paypal, which is the only system I use. Immediately, it said, "thanks for your order!" - to my friend! NOT my corrected address! I immediately called Tecova, and they said there was nothing they could do about changing the shipping address, nor could they cancel the order! Tell me how that can happen in this day and age? It was NO fault of my own that this was shipped to the wrong address, and they just said, "we're sorry! We can't do anything about it!" They were very cheerful about telling me "too bad!" and making my friend deal with sending back a pair of boots she didn't order. After I protested a LOT they agreed to help her return the boots. Then they promised me they would look into what went wrong so it doesn't happen again, as if I would ever order boots from them again - you have no control of where they will be shipped. They have done NOTHING to make this experience ok, except to be irritatingly cheerful and tell me how frustrating this must be. The WORST customer service I have even known.

Received the wrong boots and wrong size on Christmas. They wouldn’t send me the correct ones until they “processed my return” the replacements have still not shipped. The customer service lady was very sweet but the company can’t get it together.

Ordered a pair of gloves
Ordered a pair of gloves, listed as "chore" gloves. After limited use cutting wood the gloves were pretty much worn out. I sent pictures of the gloves and the holes in the finger of the gloves. I asked for a refund of the money paid and since it was over 30 days they would not refund the money. Only gave me choice of store credit and after multiple email and phone contact they did agree to send a replacement pair of gloves, which won't help me a lot since I need gloves for working on the farm, not just to look like a wannabe cowboy. Very Poor Customer Service
Earlier this week, Tuesday to be exact, I placed two orders both with a 2 day shipping up charge. Boots should have delivered Friday (tomorrow) but have not even shipped yet. I called yesterday to make sure they would ship since I’m going out of town Saturday and was told no problem, they would ship. No tracking info today so called again and was told they still haven’t shipped. Their excuse, “we’re very busy”. Then don’t offer 2 day shipping if that’s not what it is. I asked them to cancel the orders since nobody will be home to receive them. Nope, can’t do it. No effort by the horrible customer service rep. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told to email. This was my first, and last, buying experience with them. I would suggest everyone steer clear from Tecovas if this is how they treat customers.

Bourbon Lizard tecovas
I initially got a pair of Chocolate full quill ostrich but could not get the sizing right so I switched to a pair of Bourbon lizard and the size was perfect. Love the fit, finish and quality of Tecovas. It will definetly buy more boots from them in the future.
