As a student , I love all the valuable and interesting classes available to me with my membership. It allows me to explore so many topics that I never would have thought about otherwise. It also allows me to try out different techniques and styles from a wide range of amazing teachers. As a teacher, I love the amazing opportunity and community that Skillshare offers me. Being a self-taught digital artist, I’m able to showcase and share what I’ve learned throughout the years in hopes it may inspire my students to continue with their creative journey.

I appreciate the quality of the instructors on the site, how the lessons are broken up into reasonable length so I don't feel I have to commit to long periods of time for one lesson, and that the lessons work toward a project or completed piece.

it was a great experience. Unfortunately I can´t continue due an unexpected accident and spine surgery that requires money, and care...but as soon as Im a better situation I will come back.The classes were incredible and easy to follow.

It’s been great listening/watching the videos on Surface Design. I wish I could find more on Procreate for beginners such as how to make new brush sets or patterned backgrounds/colors palettes

I've only had skill share for a few days now. Completed one course (: I was say the user interface is very nice, clear and friendly. Skill share offers a good variety of different courses, mostly creatively oriented. So far, would definitely recommend!

great content, but few languages for subtitles
The content and courses I've taken so far are good and enriching. However, I find it frustrating that subtitles are limited to a few languages. For example, Italian isn't among the languages for which subtitles are available. I speak and understand English quite well, but since the lessons are quite technical, I think users would appreciate the inclusion of more subtitle languages. This could also be done very easily using artificial intelligence. I'm currently in the trial period, and I don't think I'll continue my subscription due to the lack of subtitles in my language.

Free Trial Trap — No Flexibility, No Refunds
I signed up for a one-month free trial which converted into an annual subscription (£131) on 10 February 2026. Within 7 days of the charge and without using the service after payment. I contacted support to request cancellation and a refund.The response was entirely policy-driven and inflexible. Despite escalating to a team lead, the only explanation provided was that I had agreed to the Terms of Service and that the free trial counted as the statutory cooling-off period.There was no meaningful consideration of the fact that the paid subscription had just started and no content had been consumed.The overall experience felt transactional and dismissive rather than customer-focused. If you take the free trial, set multiple reminders — do not expect discretion or flexibility if you miss the cancellation date even by a day.

Skillshare is allowing me to learn new…creative skills!
Skillshare is allowing me to learn new skills without going back to college, or to try to learn it from a book. I like that I get cc on summitted projects so I can improve on the next lesson. Also it allows me to learn at my pace and as my schedule allows. Lastly there is so much to choose from that I'm not limited to just learning one thing!

Scaffolded Lessons Perfect for Beginners
I really appreciate the structure of each class; scaffolding short video lessons that ultimately lead to a final project. I'm also a big fan of the filtering function. I tend to find the perfect class to jump into by searching Staff Picked, beginner classes.
