I am being charged for a service that I cancelled and no longer use.
I signed up for automatic sale tax filing, when it came time to file In January of 2025, there was an “error” with our log in. We currently still use our log in to manually file our taxes quarterly for the start of Ohio. I turned off the service and removed the acct so that it would no longer file automatically for us. They claim that they have attempted to file in August of 2025 for the first quarter of the year, and then again in February 2026 for the second quarter of 2025. When reaching out to support they said I was active for automatic filing even without an acct connected to file for. When asking for a refund for both of these filing I was told they don’t offer refunds. But confirmed I cancelled the services but still need to go in and skip the filing for that quarter. They platform is a complete scam and enjoy stealing money from their merchants, then making excuses for stealing money.

Horrible, they signed me up for auto ship very tricky, now Shopify is keeping me from stopping this as nowhere on my account will they allow me to make any adjustments. The internet is infested with criminals, never again!

Locked out of store since 4th Jan 2026. Changed password which removed 2FA. Stuck in 2FA loop. After 6 days they responded to say they removed 2FA. I attempted to log back on but 2FA wasn’t removed. I notified them and raised another ticket, they never responded again. But still attempt to take subscription out every few days. I’d rebuilt my store on woocommerce/wordpress within 24hrs of lockout. Hosting with Siteground. Saved £280 a year.

company allows fake / scam sites They allow people to set up a site advertising good which are low in price / photos taken from there original proper site , then advertise them as say 50% off they take your money an you get nothing . there are hundreds of these shops popping up on instagram / facebook and ALL are from this platform . how do they allow this to happen and continue over and over

My company was referred directly as a partner to a software company called MLVeda. MLVeda destroyed our website and broke 66,000 links. We had to go back to cart.com to fix the problem. I am out $36,000 from this Indian company and Shopify will not let us break the Shopify contract when clearly we need to stay on cart.com again. Shopify should NOT be trusted.

This is a SCAM. They took my money but refused to pay the vendor. I am out $360.00 with nothing to show for it. I plan to talk to a lawyer about suing. Do not do business with this thief. If you are a victim, let me know. A class action suit will get us more money.

My Shopify account was suddenly suspended without receiving any clear explanation or prior warning, despite my business operating transparently and in full compliance with platform policies.All customer orders were fulfilled on time, shipments were properly delivered, and my store maintained a 0% chargeback rate, with no disputes or payment issues. For this reason, the suspension came completely unexpectedly and has had a significant impact on my business operations.After the suspension, I immediately contacted support multiple times via email requesting clarification and offering full cooperation, including providing any documentation needed such as invoices, fulfillment proof, or identity verification. Unfortunately, I have not yet received a clear response explaining the reason for the block or the steps required to resolve the situation.I understand that platforms must apply risk and compliance checks to protect their ecosystem, but greater transparency and faster communication would greatly improve the merchant experience. Businesses depend on continuity, and sudden account suspensions without clear guidance can cause serious financial damage.I hope Shopify can improve its review process by providing merchants with clearer explanations and defined resolution timelines when issues arise. I remain fully available to cooperate and sincerely hope my case can be reviewed fairly and resolved soon.
