The essential plan gives you nothing of value
The essential plan gives you nothing of value. The mails are likely to be bounced as they use shared IP's between customers. Support was more the useless. They explained very clearly that they are sorry about the bad experience but only offer upsell options as solutions. They do not actually care that the service is useless.Do not use this service!

Awful experience. Just abysmal.
Awful experience. Customer support is non-existent. What little support does exist covers for development's shortcomings. Missing all kinds of data points in many API endpoints. Very few batch options in APIs which ends up in our team having to double call the API for simple items. Don't waste your money or time.

Terrible company with zero customer…
Terrible company with zero customer support. Frequently loses account data, unable to remove my debit card from the platform, and they keep trying to charge me despite me not using the service.

After having all my clients' email down…
After having all my clients' email down for days, and getting support that often times took 1-2 days for a response back, I decided to move to a different service and I'm never looking back. This is the worst customer support I have experienced in 30 years. I am now using FastComet and I couldn't be happier.

Sales support is appaling and slow
Sales support is appaling. They impose punative overage charges and I tried to upgrade my account to avoid this - but a month later I still don't have the upgrade in place and I was charged 300% overage for December and am now at the end of the Jan send limit with two weeks to go and still no account upgrade. They don't tell you about hidden changes to your terms when they upgrade you and these onlyb appear in the contract small print (they move you to an annual contract you can only cancel at 30 days notice once a year - a massive change from the normal the online account which is monthly) and a huge committment. Sales team are uncommunicationed, slow and make endless mistakes - really liked the actual service but massively dissillusioned with their commerial and sales practices. I got one email at 18.20 - which announced I had to sign the contract that day (I'd already finished work and only read it the following day) Then they said that the could not refund the extra charges because it was past the 15th ot the month and we'd not upgraded the contract - but this was entirely because of their slow response times as I first contacted them to upgrade on the 18th of the previous month! Incredibly poor experience given I am trying to give the a lot more money.

The service has deteriorated…
The service has deteriorated significantly.- They started charging for services that were previously free.- They changed the login method.- They send receipts to an old email address even though I changed it.- The login system offers "Remember device for 30 days," but they ask for 2FA every time I log in.- They don't offer any real technical support. It's all a waste of time with no solutions.

Warning: Abrupt Suspension, Unfair Policy Enforcement, and Refund Denied
SendGrid abruptly suspended our account during a critical sales campaign, causing direct financial loss. The reason cited a dispute over generic email aliases and affirmative consent ignored our clear proof that our list consists *only* of existing users who provided their emails during checkout. We sent only 3,437 emails out of the 50k quota. Despite our full cooperation and the severe business impact, they refused to lift the suspension under reasonable terms and ultimately denied our refund request. They took our money but prevented us from using the service. Avoid SendGrid if you value fair policy judgment, reliable service, and a reasonable refund process.

No support, Cant Login, I Hate This Company
The password that I have saved in 1password, never changed it, stopped working to login to sendgrid.Sendgrid wont charge my credit card, that is working elsewhere, so they shutoff my accountI cant login to the account. I changed the password and the changed password doesnt workThe only way to contact sendgrid is by logging into the account, which I cant do because the reset password doesnt workSo now none of our emails are going out to customers when they purchase our software, our customers with expired subscriptions are not getting emailed and nobody at sendgrid will replyThis is the second time this has happened

A "system" that rejects you instantly…
A "system" that rejects you instantly right after registration and SMS verification. They do it by sending an email without any explanation, just a message saying you’ve been denied. The support is chaotic as well, since you never receive any response… but in the end, it all makes sense considering their overall score of 1.2 (at the time of writing this)

I have a legitimate business but can't get in
I have a legitimate business, with legitimate customers, company, no spam, lots of email history, a clean mail address and these idiots automated service banned me before I could even get started. So as any legitimate business would, I reached out to them to only to get generic responses with no explanation or investigation. SendGrid use to a great job, now its seems like its run terribly. Please avoid and try something else.

Yeah it can be a bit tricky and all but it is reliable, it works if you know how to use it.I still believe they should have some sort of llimitation is segments as a capping to be able to use part of the list more efficiently..and even though I am giving them a 4, I believe their support team quality has decrease a looot...

Great email service. Highly recommended.
Great service, fairly priced. Effective for SMTP relay and newsletter mailing with a convenient, intuitive tool set and consistently excellent discoverability. Highly recommended.
