They were so great and made the process extremely easy. Communicated with me through the entire process and kept me up to date about all of my pups information. I am excited to start a new future with him!

What an amazing rescue
What an amazing rescue! Everything about our experience was perfect. They truly care about the well-being of their dogs. We are so grateful for them connecting us with our new baby!!

Once you take the dog, you are on your own. No help at all.
My son rescued a dog from here at the end of October. The dog has behavior issues and I contacted them for guidance and assistance with getting a qualified trainer to help. That was early November. There is NO phone number to call, only email. I emailed and waited for a response ... and waited and waited. Nothing. Seems once you take the dog, you're on your own. Sad. Seems they would want to help make the adoption work, but seems they don't care, once you've taken the dog, you're no longer worthy of any assistance at all. Disappointing, you'd think they want to help, but clearly they do not.

Adopt a GSD from here!
We had great communication regarding the process for adoption. The volunteers were willing to work with our schedule to see dogs. We’ve continued to support the program when possible through their fundraisers and will continue to do so. It’s like having an extended family! Would adopt again from BCGSR. Wonderful experience 😊

This is my second adoption through Big…
This is my second adoption through Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue. Both adoptions were quite easy. The questionnaire is straightforward. The rescue thoroughly vetted us to be sure we were the right fit for the dogs. The adoption fees were appropriate for the amount of time, veterinary care, food, supplies etc that our rescue needed prior to us adopting. We would definitely recommend them, and if we adopt another dog, they will be our first call.

The way they treat their animals and new parents to be. The care of each foster parent shows to the dogs to ensure they are well taken care of. Any questions you have or issues they are right there. We have adopted twice now

Amazing organization that truly cares…
Amazing organization that truly cares for this breed and vets where the dogs go. Fosters are loving and knowledgeable. After adoption there is ongoing support and training. We are in love with our Luci and so grateful to have her in our life!

The best experience
The best experience, everyone is always so attentive. The dogs are very well taken care of. The entire adoption process went so smooth. I love how they check up on us and the dogs after adoption and are available to answer any questions we may have.

Fantastic rescue!!
I love this rescue! I will definitely use them again. They were very informative and I really liked how thoroughly they researched each adopter. I love that they have loving fosters that take care of all the rescues. Dogs are very previous loving animals and after being rescued they need a very loving place to be nurtured before finding their forever home. This is the place!!!!!
