Try canceling progressive commercial.

Try canceling progressive commercial.. 11/2025 they wanted to get paid over 3,100 when we already were covered by Geico insurance t by 12/1/25 they already have a copy of the GEICO insurance and they still after the money like dogs don't let go of the bone.

Progressive was terrible

Progressive was terrible. They misrepresented me and my company in every way. They accepted responsibility and paid out in my behalf without consent. They did not do any investigation into the crash or try to dispute it in any way. They hired an attorney to represent me when the other driver sued me. The attorney that they hired was also terrible. They appointed 3 different attorneys to me throughout the case. The last one contacted me the day before the mediation for the first time. Its been over a year now and I am sure that they are not going to do anything to right the wrong. I lost my company vehicle, my business and my insurance rates are now higher due to their negligence. They paid 10,000 dollars out to the driver that hit me. He was running a red light and speeding at the time. There was no crash investigation. I was never even asked to give them my side of the story. They just paid. I would advise anyone who is shopping for commercial insurance to avoid progressive.

Extremely disappointing experience with…

Extremely disappointing experience with Progressive, specifically around billing transparency and customer service.My monthly auto insurance payment suddenly increased from about $137 to over $320 with no clear notice, no itemized explanation in the app, and no warning emails or letters explaining the increase. When I checked my account before the due date, there were no visible charges showing why this amount would be owed.I had a returned payment in November that was corrected within two days, and a return fee was charged the same day. When I paid the bill shown in the app the following day, no additional balance or fees were displayed. Weeks later, those charges were apparently bundled into a future bill without transparency.When I contacted customer service to calmly ask for an explanation and possible help, the representative was dismissive, talked over me, and repeatedly stated that nothing could be done. There was no grace, no effort to work with me, and no empathy, despite the lack of clear notice.The only communications I received were about returning a Snapshot device to avoid an additional fee — not about a major billing increase. The app did not clearly reflect what was owed, and customer service refused to acknowledge that confusion.What makes this even more frustrating is that I am a first responder who serves my community, pays responsibly, and reached out in good faith for clarification and assistance. I did not feel supported or respected as a customer.Insurance companies should provide clear billing, transparent communication, and reasonable customer support — especially when issues arise. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

They went the extra mile

The actual date was 12-20-23. (can't use set). We had deer damage that exceeded the book value by about $700. They had already cut a check for Totaling it. After pleading with the damage estimator to forgo some cosmetics, He sympathetically agreed to much extra hassles(for himself) to undo the process and repair a much needed road worthy vehicle.

Contacted them about a claim

Contacted them about a claim, they have all details, still have yet to respond and are ghosting me. Their client was found at fault for running a light and hitting my car and they will not respond at all. Worst insurance company ever.

Disrespectful and discrimination

Your ads towards becoming your parents is extremely disrespectful and discrimination!!! It's basically making an ass out of generation x people!!! What the hell!!! It's completely ignorant!!! It's basically making generations x people to look foolish!!! Telling generation x people not to act a certain way. This type of advertising is Soo not right at all , it's not based on car insurance at all, it's basically making us -generation x look retarded and that we don't act right and trying to control how we are . What the hell!! It's rude , disrespectful and discrimination!!! Please stop having this type of commercials !!!

Don't expect any help when you file a claim

Don't expect any help from them when you actually get into an accident & file a claim. Progressive will do everything in their power to NOT pay what is due to you, including dragging their feet in processing your claim, so the storage price goes up, and lowballing the value of your vehicle. I do NOT recommend!!!

Progressive is so unprofessional

Progressive is so unprofessional. One of their insured clients hit my vehicle and left the scene. I filed a police report and provided a video and pictures of the vehicle and plate number and they still denied the claim.

Progressive is a very disappointing…

Progressive is a very disappointing company. I spent five years with them out of ignorant loyalty. I’m a single Truck Owner Operator and I was paying a premium for one truck. What other people pay for seven trucks. They continue to tell me that my premium will go down after another year with no claims. Year six with no claims my premium increased 118% for no reason. Progressive is trying to put me out of business. Progressive’s preferred customer is a socially disadvantage, economic minority group member based on their own email, and if you don’t put that category, they will rip you off. Progressive will also cost you many loads because many brokers will refuse to work with carriers that have progressive insurance.

I was with them for 3 years & was badly abused

I was with them for 3 years. During that time they jacked my prices to over double and then cancelled my policy. I had no accidents, no additional or new vehicles, no speeding tickets, no claims or anything. I had a perfectly clean record! I was unaware that my insurance was cancelled until a business I worked with asked for an updated certificate. The had physically mailed me a non-renewal letter 4 months before the non-renewal went into effect. I didn't see the letter and they never sent another one or called or emailed me. This was absolutely horrible treatment and I will never deal with them again

They wanted to raise my price because I didn't provide proof of business liability insurance. The insurance is through Progressive on the same policy. Also, wanted proof of prior commercial auto coverage. It was also through Progressive. These have got to be the dumbest people on the planet.

They are luck zero star isn't an…

They are luck zero star isn't an option, they jack your policy $ through the years. They fraudulently cut my business entity from and S-Corp to a non-profit LLC. This knocked the other companies off my policy and frauded my investors that write their shares off yearly on their taxes. In the event you have an incident they dump the fraud on you. They set up underwriters (piles of them) that drop your insurance to zero. You will most likely have additives to have (you think) better than the million-dollar collision/comprehensive. No federal, state, or local agency can figure it out! Lawyers are braindead as well as the banks. Doesn't take my 6-year-old long but you will be responsible for both party's property and medical. They will erase your life! Progressive Commercial doesn't sell insurance. They flash a policy and everyone bows down. The actual insurers are their burner companies or "underwriters". You will get three or four different policies showing your life is over.... but that turns the case into thermo-astro physics for the zombies... Then progressive commercial flashes the policy they frauded you into thinking you had, and all their simple brains go back to reset and your denied. Then when you stop paying for their fraud $4-5 thousand dollar monthly scam then they turn you into every agency making sure they either bury you in fines, jail you, or get you to go on a justified spree! These cases are a dime a dozen. My advice get the cheapest policy for one month to get it inspected and registered then drop your policy. Your going to get F'd either way. BYE BYE US trucking!

Went with log Rock umbrella connected to progressive commercial payed a year to age my MC witch cost me like 8k because we bought are first truck so naturally we had to revise are on going policy witch changed the amount upwards 1000 extra we agreed truck became unsafe and parked there for I shelled out that 1500 to log rock requested company car be added and truck removed brought my last few payments down close to 500 payed the policy off in February two months remaining end of February started to look for a sleeper.semi found a good deal between the carrier I was applying for required a certain policy so I sent them the email requirements they sent me at the same time we were moving forward on the newer truck witch required coverage other type of plus what was in place so I sent that to the group and for some reason the first truck did not go threw few days later same truck sells company mentioned they had another we managed to get got the keys on march 17 looked at my online bill was 4900 I was quoted and policy was adjusted a week before so they charged me like 5k to adjust my policy few weeks go by and the bill went up 1000 more then renewal date April 15 they quoted me like 10k down mentioned once they added the 2019 was going to be even more the first agent sent a email to fmcsa requesting a 750 policy increase when it was 300k to age witch they suspended my MC there for had to start all over as a new MC shady deal and after finding a policy I've called progressive and tried to make it right and explain how the practice while writing that policy became looked at as profit to be made ignored telling the custom or doing what's best for the customer receiving the appropriate policy at a fair price for those few changes one particular cost 2700 witch I did not clearly understand before hand and could have used a upfront agent to inform me and wait instill the day I needed the coverage to put in place ofcourse not but no doubt quick on a regular willing to make the policy adjustments then seeing the bill it was hard to reach someone once I did agent said they would see what they could do and contact me months went by not one agent contacted me to work it out so bill sat at 4k at that time sits at 5900currently headed to a collection department so many questions and misconduct and un professional actions surround this policy and I'm sure rules have been broken opportunity clouded there legal and professionals obligations to the customer was ignored I spoke with them for hours and several times they refuse to look into the matter and stick me with this outrageous bill talked with both log rock and progressive they said they did not notice no problem with the policy in a sentence or mistake he even was confused but then later agreed with all the notes and the policy very shady agents is my opinion don't know what I can do to clear this crazy out of hand matter up sure on there end only way to clear it is pay the 5900 I do that just imagine how many others they are doing this to that's going un noticed or sweep under the rug there committing fraud god knows how many other ppl there are so many red flags in mine impossible not to begin to feel swindled totally taking advantage of and nothing being done about it

Horrible

Horrible, they take your money and don’t pay out when something happens. We paid extra for our tools to be covered and they are trying to say that they won’t cover them because we can’t tell how the thieves got inside the truck, they treated us as if we are criminals even though we had proof from the police department showing the tools were stolen and arrest was made. They are crooks I don’t recommend ever using them for your business insurance we lost slot if money and they are refusing to cover what should be covered.

If I could give it negative stars I would. The absolute worst company ever. Upon reading the reviews here it is very similar situation and someone needs to look into this scam of a company. Definitely bait and switch. Quotes me one price for 6 months which was $583. I pay the initial payment and a few days later get asked about a no fault accident for my husband, I realize they are trying to raise my rate to include my husband in the policy so I remove him and then pay the remaining balance of my policy off. 2 months later I get a notice they canceled my policy due to nonpayment. When I call in they tell me even though I remove my husband from the policy I’m still held responsible for his accident and they raised my policy from $583 to $939. WITHOUT NOTICE. I Will NEVER do business with Progressive again. But after reading all of these reviews, it seems to be common practice for them. What a scam terrible company.

Tha Absolute worst

Tha Absolute worst. Paid for my insurance. Signed all documents, and completed checklist to receive all discounts. Even was with a direct contact through email. They canceled a week later and said I didn't provide proof of where I parked. No email, no letter, no heads up. I found out it had been canceled when I received a PARTIAL refund, $140.00 less than what it should have been. When I called they informed that that was all that I would be refunded. Worst insurance, worst customer service. NEVER AGAIN
