I can not understand the many negative…

I can not understand the many negative reviews of this dealership. Our experience with Prime Golf Cars and the owner David Paige was delightful. He is personable, upbeat, and takes all the time you need with you. He took excellent care of us when we purchased a cart from him 3 years ago, and again this week when we went back for new batteries and brake service. He is an intelligent, personable and honest businessman and a devout cat lover as well, carefully and devotedly caring for a large number of former stray cats in his dealership. I highly recommend Prime Golf Cars for a purchase, a rental or service. You will not find a more knowledgeable, personable or fair individual. He returns phone calls very quickly and patiently explains things. In my search, I looked at many golf cart dealerships. David Paige stands head and shoulders above all that I have checked. I give him my highest recommendation.

HORRIBLE rental experience

HORRIBLE rental experience. We were on a family trip (parents + siblings + their families with toddlers) and we rented a 6 seater cart and only ended up doing 2-3 cruises around the neighborhood. The brakes on the cart did NOT work which caused a couple close calls with stop sign intersections (scary!!!). We know Prime Golf Cars knew this because the cart was after market outfitted with a parking brake. Our family has spent a lot of time around golf cars and we have never seen one with a parking brake. We had no intention of complaining until Prime Golf Car charged my dad’s credit card $1000, citing “damages to the cart” - WHAT?!? We barely drove it because it was too dangerous to take the kids on. This company has poor business practices and is dishonest. I cannot stress enough that I do NOT recommend working with them. We will be fighting this charge.

Not to be Trusted

We rented a cart a year in advance and paid for it. They ended up replacing the model we ordered with a less expensive model and promised to refund the difference but did not do so after many many requests on my part and commitments on their part. And the cart they sent only had a range of 10-12 miles! After being notified of that problem, they blamed it on me and said I was not charging it correctly. Bizarre. Crooks!

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. Buyer beware. I have been trying to get a refund for a defective product for 2 weeks and I have been unable to get further contact from them. I heard from them a few times, no refund has processed, my emails have now gone unanswered. DO NOT send this site your money - it will be lost eternally.

Excellent dealership with excellent customer service

After looking at several other dealerships, my wife and I went to look at a used street legal golf cart at Prime Golf Cars. David Paige, the owner could not have been nicer. He was patient, friendly, and upbeat. The cart had been meticulously cleaned and was beautiful. To assure me, David offered a 90 day warranty for free. Delivery was next day. We could not be happier with the cart or the excellent customer service offered by David Paige. We drove all the way from Marco Island to purchase the cart and the experience was well worth it. They have a very large selection of new and used carts. After a few days of ownership, I called David with a few questions. He could not have been more friendly or patient. He answered all my questions promptly and went out of his way to make sure that everything was perfect. I recommend Prime Golf Cars and David Paige very highly.

BEWARE-NOT TRUSTWORTHY

BEWARE-NOT TRUSTWORTHYThey delivered a golf cart with a broken windshield with a sharp edge. We could not use it until they fixed it 3 days later. They refused to refund for the lost days and ultimately said they would refund 1 day, after 7 calls including 3 to the owner, which was not received.Find other options!!

***RIPOFF*** STOLE MY MONEY***AVOID AT…

***RIPOFF*** STOLE MY MONEY***AVOID AT ALL COST***STOLE $1000 FROM MY 78 YEAR OLD FATHER RECOVERING FROM COVID. I tried to get golf cart going for my father who is having a hard time getting around after being in hospital for three months with COVID. Unfortunately in my time of need I was scammed and taken advantage of by David at Prime Golf Cars in what seems to be an intentional SCAM. I took my golf cart to Prime Gold Cars for a simple repair of the cart not going in reverse and cleaning up the 12v light wiring. They claim to be an affordable repair shop and assured me this would be no big deal but when they tried to repair my cart David at Prime Gold Cars was unable to figure out the problem. When I spoke with the tech Justin I was told he could no longer work on my golf cart until I brought in $1000 cash. I was told to call the owner David for more information. The owner David at Prime Gold Cars told me I had to bring him $1000 cash for him to even continue to look at the cart. He refused to accept credit card by phone and insisted on cash only. I explained I just needed the cart fixed for my father who was weak from COVID to get to the mailbox and take out the trash but he made it clear all he cared about was getting his $1000 cash. Thinking David at Prime Golf Cars may at least know what the problem was after charging me $1000 I was told by David they did not know the problem and it would cost an unknown amount of additional hours for them to try to find it. He was unable to give me any estimate or price for how much after I paid the $1000 for nothing. After extorting $1000 he basically wanted me to give him a blank check to try to figure out the problem I brought the car in for. I NEVER AUTHORIZED ANY REPAIRS OR $1000 in shop time to begin with. After 3 weeks in time and $1000 in cash that David insisted I bring to him to get my cart back and my father is still no closer to being able to drive the cart to the mailbox. I did everything possible to make this work but unfortunately David at Prime Gold Cars was just unable or unwilling to fix my golf cart and felt it was ok to extort $1000 for fixing absolutely nothing in a time of crisis for my family. DO NOT TRUST DAVID @ PRIME GOLF CARS AND DO NOT EVER TRUST THEM TO DIAGNOSE OR REPAIR YOUR PROVLEM OR HE WILL EXTORT YOU AS WELL.. THIS PLACE IS A CLEAR RIPOFF
