CAVEAT EMPTOR: LET THE BUYER BEWARE
After two chairs were out of stock on another website, placed an order for same two chairs on Pier 1 website as of Feb. 10. Only on Feb. 27 did I find out the chairs were out of stock on Pier 1 website as well, and only after sending an email questioning why I hadn't yet received shipment info regarding chairs did their automated system let me know they are out of stock. Attempting to dispute order with American Express after Pier 1 charged my account when purchase was processed, but outcome unknown at this time. Pier 1 return policy says orders may not be cancelled after being placed, so if you want your merch delivered in a reasonable amount of time after your card has been charged, suggest you seek out other options as it serves no good purpose to offer great discounts when their inventory is out of stock with no information provided as to when merch will be back in stock. Unacceptable level of customer service tells me better to worry less about discounts and worry more about prompt fulfillment of order after card has been charged.

Pier 1 Customer Service Doesn’t Exist
Purchased a Christmas ornament on 12/14. Started following up on 12/21. To date I still have not received the Li Bien Christmas ball. I have received two separate automated responses stating I would hear something in 72 hours. No phone number (red flag), only email. Had to get my credit card company involved. Needless to say, won’t be purchasing from them in the future.

Do not purchase from Pier 1. They have zero customer service in the event they mail a faulty product. I received a piece of furniture that was missing 2 pieces. They only give you an email address that responds with AI. There is no live support.

What happened to Pier 1? It was one of my favorite furniture stores when In opened in the 90’s. Quality products with some good deals if you shopped right.Now it’s a money grab for the smaller novelty products and cheaply made larger pieces that lose there shine with manufacturer faults that quickly become apparent once in use.The brick n mortar store closed down several years ago in my town and looking at the reviews regarding their website ordering makes me realize that they are a business best left in the past.

Hi. This website is a scam. Once paid with PayPal they even take more money from the account than the website indicates the cost is. You never receive any email with order confirmation and you never get the product or get any answers from them. Avoid at all cost.

They are scam artistsThey contacted me for the 1st time 24 days after my purchase via email explaining they had no stick of what I had ordered and stated they would like to refund my monies however they couldn't do it via bank transfer only via paypal they had no intention of refunding me yet they attempted to take more money from me via paypal Then someone contacted me via WhatsApp who they had given my number toThis person claim to be from PayPal refund dept who tried his best to take more money from my bank account while we communicated online. At the same time i was also talking to PayPal they confirmed my suspicions that they would never contact me via WhatsApp and they were certainly not from PayPal whoever they were.It's a con site! they don't have any stock neither do they have a genuine contact number or email address.Don't buy from them and beware they have few sites online that have different contact addresses.They will email you with a paypal invoice when you purchase.

Worst online shopping experience
I used to love the Pier 1 stores, so thought the online shopping would be good. I ordered 4 chairs, they FINALLY arrived, and they are the exact same cheap chairs I already ordered and returned from Amazon. They were TWICE the cost at Pier 1 online AND I can't return them. Plus, I sent customer support a few emails and nobody ever got back to me. VERY unhappy.

I ordered 2 SETS of 2 Lounge chairs with cushions (4 x chairs total). Received confirmation of order with order number. I also received 2 packages. The packages were parts, literally 2 legs for the chairs. When i checked the website, it says "order fulfilled" . The only option you have for customer support is an email address. I emailed them 7 times with no response. I googled a phone number, and they are all "out of service" when i tried to call. I filed a complaint with the BBB and submitted a claim with the credit card company. Pier1 has still not responded to me, BBB, or the credit card number and i never received my order. It is so bizarre, because i literally receive coupons and correspondence from them every day. I would not take a chance with this company. I think they bank on most people just not taking action for their lack of fulfillment.
