Most terrible Organisation

Most terrible Organisation. I have bought a ticket for a Train from Malaga to Cordoba. In the Station I looked for the Ouigo-Train, but anywhere was a Train from Ouigo. I have to bought a second ticket from Renfe. From Ouigo: no Information. Never, never Ouigo!!!

No star at all

No star at all. Only 1 cause it’s cheap. We took 2 trains which both had delay ( 1 and a half hour combined) If we had things planned we would have missed them. Bad experience very slow train and makes many unnecessary long time stops . It’s cheap but the program MUST be followed.( I am not talking about small delays )

Operator changed schedule and No Response

OUIGO unilaterally changed my Madrid–Barcelona train on 17 March 2026 from 17:17 to 16:22 without my consent.This change makes the journey IMPOSSIBLE for me: my connecting train to Madrid (from another station) arrives at 16:37, meaning I physically cannot take the rescheduled OUIGO train.I submitted the official customer support form on OUIGO’s website multiple times and received no response.Despite this being a carrier-initiated change that invalidates the booking, OUIGO relied on “non-refundable” fare rules instead of honoring EU Regulation (EC) 1371/2007, which provides a right to reimbursement.Changing schedules unilaterally and then ignoring passengers is unacceptable. Book with caution.

Ouigo worst travel app

The most worst app or train purchase ticket cause they don’t email there passengers that the train is was cancelled.our planned things to do is cancelled due to these irresponsible.and its your part is has a problem but your bullsh*t policies is doesn’t fully refund our money.Seville spain 6:55 cancelled feb 6,2026.Better improve your service.don’t give us a cheaper price if this what we can get.

An absolute disaster of an experience

The train didn’t arrive on time.We boarded the train one and a half hours late.The scheduled travel time was two and a half hours — that’s how long the journey was supposed to take.However, the trip took five hours from Barcelona to Madrid.It was a terrible experience.I definitely do not recommend it to anyone.

Fellow Americans

Fellow Americans, avoid at all costs. Wouldn’t let us board even though we arrived at boarding time. The train sat there another 10 minutes before board. Absolutely horrible.

Terrible

We took 2 Ouigo trains (Barcelona-Madrid, Madrid-Córdoba) on 01.01.26 and 2 Ouigo trains to return on 06.01.26. On all 4 trains, many toilets were out of service and other toilets did not have running water to wash hands. Our 17:17 train from Madrid to Barcelona on 06.01.26 was 2 hours 51 minutes delayed without explanation and without apology. Despite the lack of information, Ouigo staff in Madrid station were inpatient and had a bad attitude when passengers calmly asked questions. They got annoyed with passengers waiting in the corridor, even though there was nowhere to sit. Once trains were ready to board, the screens were not updated and no announcements were made. We were updated by other passengers. Before boarding, they made us wait on the platform in the cold for 15 minutes without explanation.

⭐ LOW CLIENT SERVICE

Very bad experience with OUIGO.I wanted to change my tickets and, after paying the change fees, I ended up with 4 tickets in my name for the same date due to a technical issue.Despite this, customer service refused to acknowledge their mistake and asked me to pay again to fix the problem, even though the error was not on my side.I find this attitude unacceptable:-No commercial gesture-No sense of customer service-Complete lack of consideration for customersIn short: a company that clearly does not take care of its customers.I am very disappointed and do not recommend it.

THE WORST !

Agree with the pervious customers!!! They are usually late 30 min or more !!!! I took a taxi thinking that I gonna be late and was running and when I came I saw I had to wait 30 minutes !!!! A stupid company !!!! Never will use it again !!!! the worst quality service that’s why cheap !!!

Hospitalized baby wasn't enough

Our (at the time) 2 month old daughter had to be hospitalized 2 days before we were set to travel. I contacted OUIGO on the same day and sent everything needed. They told me to contact another part of OUIGO, so i did. And they have told me that we are not eligible for a refund... What the hell? I contacted them 2 days/nights before our travel. I even provided an official hospital document including the proof and dates of hospitalization

The worst company in existence

The worst company in existence. Trains are always late. I traveled with this parody on train company twice. One time train was delayed by 55 minutes, second time by 1 hour 40 minutes.If you have a choice, just pay 20 euros more and travel with a decent company.

Very disappointing!!

I am very disappointed with my experience with OUIGO Spain and the company’s handling of my complaint.My family (two adults and two young children) was traveling from Barcelona to Madrid when we were stopped at boarding over a €50 baggage fee. While we disagreed with the charge, we agreed to pay and were actively trying to do so, as we had a flight from Madrid the following day.When I asked for the agents’ names in order to escalate a complaint, they refused to identify themselves. One agent grabbed my phone, accusing me of trying to take her picture when I was simply trying to note their details. Despite repeatedly asking to pay the baggage fee, we were told we would not be allowed to travel, our tickets were cancelled, and no refund would be issued.There was no empathy shown toward our children and no attempt to de-escalate the situation. We were forced to purchase last-minute tickets with another train operator for €274 just to reach Madrid. Other non-Spanish-speaking passengers reported similar accusations for simply using their phones to communicate, which made the experience feel targeted and discriminatory.OUIGO later stated that the refusal to board was “correct” and closed the case without offering any refund.This incident occurred during what was meant to be a family trip celebrating my birthday and caused unnecessary stress and disruption. Based on this experience and OUIGO’s response, I will not travel with OUIGO again and hope the company seriously reconsiders its customer service practices, staff conduct, and approach to resolving disputes.

If I could I’d put 0/5 don’t use it

If I could I’d put 0/5 don’t use it, find alternatives more expensive, but nothing works, never water or soap in the bathrooms, no space, electricity never works, don’t waste your money.

Avoid - zero customer sevice

Our train was delayed about 1 hour 20 minutes, which caused us to miss our connecting Eurostar train. We bought seats on the subsequent train and have been trying to claim back this money from our travel insurance. OUIGO, for some reason, refuses to provide a simple letter saying that our train was delayed. Why????? It's a really simple request and honestly I can't understand why a company would refuse to do such a simple thing for a customer. I've tried contacting them again but now they've just gone to ghosting me. I'm really just apalled - this company really makes no attempt to boost customer satisfaction. Stay away as when (not if) you have any issues with them, it's not going to be a pleasant experience.

One of the worst travel experiences I’ve had in Spain. I took two OUIGO trains on the same day and was charged extra twice for a single suitcase — even though the ticket I bought through Omio never mentioned any luggage limitations.OUIGO claims you can add luggage in advance on their website or app, but that option simply does not exist. I spent a long time trying to find it, both before and after the first charge, and it’s nowhere. Yet their agents still force you to pay full price at the station, with zero understanding and zero flexibility.I had only one suitcase, no backpack, no carry-on, and on the return it was even empty — still, they charged me again. This is misleading, unfair, and feels intentionally designed to make passengers pay more.I’m new in Spain and trusted OUIGO in good faith. Instead, I ended up paying extra twice due to false information and nonexistent options. Absolutely unacceptable. I’ve kept screenshots of everything, and if needed I’m ready to take this further. Avoid OUIGO if you don’t want surprise fees and unhelpful service.

Solid service with opportunity to improve

Recently booked a high speed train from Barcelona to Madrid return and went without issue. Good service, relatively good value in the market. The final star is lost as the boarding process is fairly chaotic and also on the seating map was incorrect for the return leg. Overall a solid experience.
