50/50 if you get points

Having used nectar app for some time I find it a bit odd. When you go via nectar to a company the tracking says tracked and after points pending you get your points only to be taken off at a later date crew clothing do this on every purchase reason I have not used the nectar app. eBay has never given points so don't use now went back to Quidco, qvc works 50/50, the only business I have found that honour point is very no problem here

I've again been defrauded of my nectar points…

I've been defrauded of my nectar points yet again for the second time in 14 months. If nectar is incapable of providing a secure reward system, why does it even bother? You then have to wait 14 days for a new card which means you're disadvantaged as a shopper because practically every supermarket now relies on you using their reward card to avoid being charged £££ Nectar is an absolute shambles.

Absolute waste of time trying to log on

Every so often over the past few years I try to log on to my NECTAR card and after going around and around, having codes sent to me, changing passwords and then I am right back at the beginning and I go through the same again - I have therefore decided it is just not worth the hassle and my card is now cut in half.

I’ve been trying to get into my account for over a year. I’ve phoned nectar and followed there instructions… nothing.I’ve tried live chat… nothingNectar say it’s Sainsbury’s fault?Tried Sainsbury’s they say go to nectar?Changed password.. ok .. they send code .. ok .. so I enter my details to log in they say they sending another verification code to my mobile, never get one !!!!!Over a year and you can’t sort the issue?How on earth can I log in? Nectar tell me what to do, I do it, nothing. They say must be Sainsbury’s, Sainsbury’s say it’s a nectars problem . Come on sort this out!!No complaints portal just a bot (useless) chat (useless) and phone (useless)Nectar please get a grip

Missing points!

So many points are never added. You have to try and keep track yourself and then chase a very unhelpful customer service department. They are quick to remove points though, even if an order is only partially returned! There’s no benefit to using Nectar to shop, other than at Sainsbury’s. Very frustrating.

Nectar offer bonus points every week

Nectar offer bonus points every week, they don't uphold these then the points disappear & you have no way of proving it. I have lost around a thousand points in 2 months. When I contacted customer services they wouldn't honour them as I couldn't prove it, but surely they can check it. Won't be using them any more & suggest everybody check your points after a shop.

I would give it no stars if I could

I would give it no stars if I could, I have 22 transactions registered through nectar shopping online with TK back in October and November all over £100 it was my Christmas shopping, Nectar never registered them and have still not paid them 3 months later? They constantly move the goalposts so they don’t have to pay them!

Can't link Argos acct with Nectar card acct.

Signed up for an Argos account to order an item and part-pay with my Nectar points. The registration process sent a code to my email addr immediately, no problem. First attempt: signed into Argos acct, linking failed to send a code to my email. Clicked Resend Code - nothing. Second attempt by logging into both Nectar and Argos accts at the same time to Link accts (using the link from my Argos acct) STILL NO code to my email acct. Eventually it says "You have requested for the code for 9 times. Your account is about to get locked out." Given up trying to link them. 45 mins later still NO CODE!!! Will head to the store in the morning and try to pay in-store with the Nectar card.

PATHETIC

PATHETIC, telling me that my name and DOB are incorrect?, they're not, Joined online chat and spent 10 mins explaining, then the Agent disconnected? usual story of paying overseas staff at below minimum wage who really don't understand and don't care!!! Nectar card in the bin, i'll just stick with Tesco,

Normally very good but had a print out to link Nector to Marriott Bonvoy. ‘Scan the QR code to get started’ then it takes you MB site, then asked you to sign in 🤷‍♂️ put my password in but keeps saying it doesn’t recognise it.

fine until things go wrong.I received an email asking if I had enjoyed spending my points in Whitechapel ( I am based in Manchester) so rang the number to report this, they said yes we can see its fraud as you used your card in your local store a few minutes before. Dont worry we will sort it out and you will get a replacement card a few days time. 4 weeks later and still no replacement card, despite them sending several. to log a complaint you can only write to them and they know most people wont bother, I will be today asking them to delete all my personal information from their systems.

Scam spam promotion, bad customer service

I used my nectar to a promotion, I started to receive 20 calls a day from dodge numbers.I tried to contact the chat and the guy just rang out on me.Terrible customer service, scam promotions, be aware.

Absolutely rubbish customer service

Absolutely rubbish customer service. Contacted Nectar via chat for missing points. No luck with anything, been told that now PDF are not accepted as proof of purchases. Been taken for a ride by the guy just because I have filed other missing points claims. Really bad service from Nectar these days! Update: after a chat this time requesting a manager, I have found out that I was told a LIE by the lazy customer service guy, as it is NOT true that PDFs are not accepted any longer. The manager said it is still OK to send PDFs as proof of purchase.

i had an account

i had an account, which cannot be found, the card cannot be used anymore and creating a new one and linking it to relevant sites is difficult and takes very long time. it discourages you in using or getting any discounts. i will just stop going to the shops that allow it's use, i cannot speand my life on this.

Abrupt and useless customer service person

I have 2 nectar cards and wanted to transfer the points to just 1.The chat helpline person Aniket Kanan was abrupt to the point of rudeness and after the link he sent me didn't work just cut me off and sent a link here. Hence this review.

MISSING NECTAR POINTS

I made a booking through Agoda in August last year that got me 3336 points, I have constantly chased these points, I keep getting told that they are escalating the issue but up until now after numerous emails and online chat I have not received them.I will no longer shop at Sainsbury's or use their fuel!!!

Slow points

The points rewards system is really slow to build up compared to Tesco which builds up much quicker I have been going to Sainsbury's for 30 years but now find myself using Tesco more even though it means travelling. Little boy father because the rewards are better
