Blanked terminal cancer patient

No clear policy for immuno-compromised passengers. Despite the fact they made the decision to isolate my sick cabinmate, they wanted to charge me £170 for an alternative cabin. When I refused, they told me it was safe for me (terminal cancer and on chemo!) to sleep with an infectious person. I had to INSIST they rang the ship doctor who confirmed it obviously wasn't. I was seriously ill afterwards, their lack of action ruined my holiday and they didn't even offer a decent apology, never mind any compensation. Do not travel with them if you have cancer.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever. My handbag got STOLEN, not lost, STOLEN. I had documents, credits cards and personal belongings inside and the cruise did absolutely nothing. They said that they can’t watch the cameras for lost items, I explained to them a hundred times that someone stole it and they did nothing. They don’t care about your things or your safety. People can easily steal things during the trip because security can’t and won’t watch the cameras.I told them EXACTLY where and when the bag was stolen and they still wouldn’t watch the video. They say they’re not responsible of what happens to our belongings during the trip, unbelievable. What is most disturbing is not only the theft itself, but the complete refusal to take action. If security declines to review cameras even when a theft is reported with specific details, this raises very serious concerns about passenger safety and onboard security protocols.I am deeply disappointed by MSC’s handling of this situation and extremely concerned about the safety standards aboard this cruise line. I will not be traveling with MSC again.

Within just 2 hours, the delivery date was changed to 7 different days

I am currently tracking my container in Gioia Tauro, Italy. The name of the vessel scheduled to transport it to Poti has been changed seven times in a single day. Furthermore, the delivery date and the vessel's name were updated seven times within just two hours. This is absolutely unprofessional and beyond ridiculous. The cargo is already delayed by one month

MSC is Not For Me

Ship sails in two weeks; it will be my first one. I already hate it: tons of extra charges, I’m sea sick thinking about giving them my credit card to charge for mandatory tips and whatever else. Yes, if you know this world , you are fine with it. I know this will be my first and only cruise, only wish I knew what I was getting into.

I took a cruise for 11 nights and 12 days in the Bahamas Caribbean. Expectations are high on the new cruise. But at the time of reservation, about $400 of my money went missing due to computer problems. Phone calls and emails went nowhere. I dispatched it to the bank, but msc didn't accept it. Eventually, I gave up $400 of my money. Servis is a mess and I don't want to lose a point. Is it easy to do a control in Europe and Switzerland?!!! Don't get on it.

MSC SEASIDE

MSC SEASIDEFor a senior citizen , you mozwell just stay in your cabin the whole journey. There is nothing of interest for seniors on this boat .The food at the marketplace is so old reheated dry bland rubbish but the worst is , you pay your honest goodwill fare then after you've paid they then they come this "HOTEL SERVICE CHARGE" $164 and they try to hold you on the ship on disembarkment day until you give them your credit card !!! Stay away from these Italian MAFIA THEIVES.

If just OK is for you, then MSC is your cruise line

If just OK is for you, then MSC is your cruise line. Food buffet - marginal most of the time;Upgraded (pay for) restaurants, again marginal to if I were in a restaurant at home, I would have requested to “take back” my meal;Management if you have an issue, marginal service;Upgraded drink packages, not beneficial;Hidden fees? Yes, MSC has hidden fees to cabin; The ship itself and the gym were great, and the crew were happy and helpful, but other than that - not the experience we were expecting.I will not be sailing on MSC again. But if marginal is fine for you to spend your well earned time and money for a vacation, and OK is your expectation - then MSC is your cruise line .

Rip off

We are a party of 3 adults and it is our first time on MSC cruise. We’ve departed out of Orlando on Grandiose ship that has 6500 people on board plus 1500 staff members. This ship is huge. While it is well stylish and luxury looking, rooms are spacious ( we had 2 balconies rooms), the customer service is not good. People have to wait long lines to be seated at the restaurants even when the seating time booked in advance. Food is ok, but pretty much the same. Great entertainment, but I would seriously focused on management and administration. The goal of the cruise ship not to provide excellent experience but to rip off customers. The room was not cleaned until 2 pm when we complained. Upon checking in to the cruise ship - there was no organization, no map, no explanation, people had to find someone to explain them where they could find their room keys, how they find place to eat, etc. it’s not organized at all. Long waiting lines to customer service desk, even longer line to change a time for the dining that has been picked by the ship crew for you instead of asking customers what time they would like to dine at. They are offering bracelets to wear instead of using a key cards - very nice idea, but they are charging 20$ for the bracelets! They don’t have water on a cruise, only in the fountain and pushing customers to buy a package from cruise ship which cost additional 300$ per person! I understand alcoholic beverages, but water????? Each room has a refrigerator with drinks but water bottle cost 4$. Not sure how much are the other drinks cost. Once we stepped on board - my credit card had a charge two times for the amount of 250$ each = 500$. There was no explanations why I got billed 500$. I had to stay in line for 30 minutes to get the answer from customer service - the charge was a deposit in case of damage or use of anything I didn’t pay for. Swimming pool is overcrowded there are no seats or lounge chairs available. We had to stand around pool. All restaurants are additional cost: butcher block for an example cost 79$ per person, shows are additional cost, etc. when people think cruise is all inclusive - it is MISPERCEPTION, they are not. In addition to what you paid, people should anticipate to pay an additional the same amount or more. Our cabin was 1600$ for two. In one week we are expected to pay double that amount if we want to get an entertainment and water, ice cream and coffee. I consider this is a rip off -land location is the way to go.

MSC ruined my honeymoon.

I took a cruise in 2024 on the MSC Europa. I actually had a good time, so I decided I would book three yacht club rooms for 2026, yup two years in advance. One was the Royal Suite too. While on the ship they did the bookings and told me that the agent would call me or email me closer to the date to finalize everything (I would have just paid on the spot but they said that the agent had to complete it, Tawfeeq travel). MSC has an unusual system where they aren’t all linked and different territories have to go through different agents. One of the rooms was booked, two of them were cancelled by their system. When trying to figure out what’s going on, because the agent never called me, they said they could rebook the rooms but would have to charge me an extra 10,000 dollars. 😂Their mistake and I have to pay more? I took it as a sign that this wasn’t worth it, since I had already committed to 20,000 dollars and there’s no way I’m paying 30 for a 7 day cruise. MSc has taught me that booking in advance, being loyal, and following their instructions is the equivalent of being a fool. This trip was supposed to be part of my honeymoon and they’ve ruined it. They didn’t even try to figure out a solution, they didn’t seem to even care. Guess MSC of 2026 isn’t the same as it used to be.

Be very careful when booking with MSC

Be very careful when booking with MSC. When trying to complete a booking, I had an overview of what was included in the package. When you go to make the payment, those things it said would be included had disappeared. Have been told it’s maybe due to no availability! i.e the Yatch Club benefits/gratuities no longer available. I found this to be very misleading. If it says this is what’s included it should be included. Over a month of me going on the website daily, the same thing showing what’s available then disappearing. I’m so glad I checked, otherwise I would have gone expecting something that’s not included. The customer services department felt like a complete waste of time. Not listening or trying to fob you off or persistently ignoring questions because the don’t want to admit the problems. Took nearly a month to respond to my complaint, and they only got in touch because I chased it up. All this before I’ve even stepped foot on the ship. I’ve never been with MSC before due to the reputation and bad reviews. Was willing to give them a go, but after this, no way. Please be very careful and do your research when booking with this company.

I boarded Seaside in Miami on…

I boarded Seaside in Miami on 2/9-2/13/26. I had an amazing experience. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. Other passengers that I spoke with said the same, they thought it was better or just as well as other cruise lines they had encountered. 10 out of 10 experience for me.

I am writing to formally complain about…

I am writing to formally complain about the disembarkation process related to our prepaid excursion.Despite having fully paid for the excursion in advance, we were required to stand in a long line the day before in order to secure a time slot to leave the ship the following morning. Approximately 500–600 guests were waiting in the same corridor at that time. We had to wait in the corridor for a significant amount of time, which was both uncomfortable and unnecessary. This situation was extremely frustrating. For a prepaid excursion, guests should not be required to queue for such arrangements. The process should be organized in a more professional and efficient manner, without causing inconvenience to passengers

My 1st time cruise.

My 1st time cruise.Went with world europa.Boy what a ship, absolutely fantastic. The size of this thing is impressive.the ship is well maitained to a good clean standard, the crew and staff were very nice and polite and helpfull and nothing was too much for them.the food was very good too despite reading people unhappy with food, i couldnt fault the food,Can people even comprehend what work and effort it takes to arrange so much various foods for over 6000 various peopke of various countrys and cultures. Its damn impressive.i really couldnt fault msc for what they provide and for the prices.the only issue was some guests where a bit loud and rude would just push infront of you like they are more important and just inconsiderate for other peoples vacation (mainly italians) i know its an italian ship but just not very conciderate. But it wont stop me doing it again.infact im already looking into another cruise.overall i was very happy with the msc and the world europa. Loved it.the ship is very well organised and the excursions are great too and well implamented.unfortunatly 1 of ours was cancelled due to bad weather but we was taken to another country as part of our cruise so nothing lost .and one other thing, the pizza onboard is very good, i ate so much pizza :)thanks msc for my 1st cruise experience which was a great experience.

MSC Meravilglia food quality and hygiene

On board the MSC Meravilglia. Worst holiday experience possible. Detained in rooms, food poisoning, freezing cold food On ocean cay island there private island. Island itself is very nice. But to get a drink or assistance You will be waiting. Food is all precooked and left out. Eg burger, hot dog, fish or fries will be left on the counter in the food area and served cold as a fridge. High number of sickness on board due to food and hygiene. Men's toilets, a lot of bathrooms don't have working sinks. Hand sanitizer units not working around the boat. General poor hygiene and poor food quality/safety

Bad Experience with Customer Service

My family and I recently decided to search for a cruise for this month due to my husband having extra time off work for the month. Although short notice I found a cruise that would work for us in the month of February. I called and spoke with a customer service representative we discussed we needed to have space for 5 of us one being under 2 she advised me that we could fill out a form called Occupancy Waiver Request Letter and we could bring our daughter under 2 with us into the room we had booked. She sent me the form and stated that she would hold the booking until 5pm the next day and I can fill the form out and get an approval to bring our daughter into the room without having to pay 1100 for a bigger room just to bring her. The form was sent within about an hour of her emailing to me. I woke up the next day to an email sent at about 4am saying my hold had expired. I had thought I had a hold until 5pm that day to pay i was waiting for a response on the form as she stated i should have gotten one by that time the next day. So I called and spoke with a woman who explained to me that I would have talked to her after 5pm to get a hold all the way until 5pm the next day? And that the form cannot be submitted without payment and that it take 3 to 5 business days for them to process it. So nothing the other woman told me was correct. I was very upset I had told my children we were going because I had trusted what the lady the day before had said. In speaking with the 2nd lady she said that she could rebook with me but if I sent the Occupancy letter that if they didnt get to it before the date we were cruising we couldnt bring our 1 year old and would not get a refund for the cruise if we paid for it. I spoke with a supervisor advised her of the situation and how the previous rep from the day before gave me all wrong information. She was nice but neither I spoke to wanted to make the situation right with my experience over the phone not even to the cruise yet. No resolution it just was what it was is how the conversation ended. I accepted it and moved on. Now today I get a phone call from someone I thought maybe they wanted to help and make this better spoke with a man said that he had other access and would see if he could at least get me a refund if the form didnt go through in time if I went ahead and paid for the booking he called me back later today with the same info. No resolution no trying to fix what had went wrong. More of me being upset and having false hope because they just want to make a sale no one here cares about the customer and if the experience just with even customer service is good. So I asked them not to call me ever again. In my experience with customer service and the 4 people I've spoke to in the past 3 days im reluctant to even give this cruise line a shot. I feel as a customer I was lied to and treated like it didnt matter that their employee did that and no concern for my experience with them. So I would say cruise at your own risk!

Stay as far away as you probably can…

Stay as far away as you probably can from this cruise line! Customer service is absolutely horrid! I've been waiting greater than 60 days for my refund from a canceled trip. Every time you call customer service you get the same runaround with the same "The check is in the mail" story. This was to be my first time cruising on this cruise line. I think I'll continue to spend my money on the Carnival Cruise line

Nobody seems to care about your booking by MSC!

Nobody seems to care about your booking by MSC!We booked a trip this summer at one of their cruises in advance for 13500 euro to the French Caribbean. After many attempts to get some information at the local MSC office in the Netherlands, we didn't got any information about our booked trip. After some calls where they promised us to call us back they didn't either. I am now almost diamant member at MSC but it's the limit for me, I will cancel this trip. If they won't respect their customers and treat them how it should be they all walk away to Cruise company's who are serving their customers with respect and give them the service they paid for! Missed change MSC!

MSC seaside ship had RATS crawling in…

MSC seaside ship had RATS crawling in the walls of cabin. Couldn’t see them but could definatly hear them running and making noises in the walls. Everyone on our deck could hear them. Some people saw the rats . Apparently they come in on food crates at the port . Disgusting. Also everyone on board was sick. Many people coughing with covid. Dirty ship. Staff is rude. They act like they HATE there jobs. Often times seen staff gossiping about guests.

We just got off the Grandioso out of…

We just got off the Grandioso out of Port Canaveral, and my heart is full. We had an amazing time. The food was delicious, the service was warm and genuine, and the crew worked nonstop to make sure everyone was taken care of.Before we sailed, I read so many reviews from people who were disappointed, and I kept waiting to see what they were talking about. But standing there, surrounded by thousands of people from all walks of life, I realized something. Nothing with this many moving parts will ever be perfect. But you know what was perfect?Getting to take this trip with my wife.Laughing together, relaxing together, making memories we’ll talk about for years . That’s what mattered most. That’s the part that stays with you long after you leave the ship.Experiences like this remind me how fortunate we are to have the chance to travel and enjoy time like this. A little gratitude changes everything.I only wish we could do it every year.
