An absolute ripoff!
Half of the profiles are fake and you get bombarded with baited likes...and bot interactions...until you quickly realize they're not real. The customer service is unsupportive and dosen't address the issues. Don't waist your money.

Don't bother! Waste of Time
I joined Match.com after knowing how some friends and family members met their partners for life on the site. What I failed to consider is the timing. Match.com may have been great two years ago when each of the couples met, however, that is no longer the case. Which seems to be constant with other dating sites as well. They are predatory money makers. Plain and simple. No quality options available. I paid for three months and was highly disenchanted the first week. I paid for the lowest subscription which set me back $80. Outside of Ai profiles and scammers, I was not left with much to review. My search criteria literally ran out of options. I received a message with each Discover search that there were no profiles available that met my criteria. I changed my criteria in multiple ways only to receive a limited number of profiles completely out of my area and no where close to meeting any of my requirements. At this point, I will stick with the old fashion way of meeting people....social events and other in-person opportunities. The online thing is simply not for me. Online/app dating is a racket and nothing more. With a 3% success rate using Match, I am better off going to the casino and betting my $80.

Scammers are not considered breaching…
Scammers are not considered breaching their terms. Although the request for money wasn't on match, the person who contacted me was from a match profile. Fortunately I'm not stupid or naive & I wanted to protect others who may not realise

Fake accounts all over
Fake accounts all over. I could set up a better one with AI. Hate the experience of abuse and playing with any person's feelings or anxiety it can cause. Shame to the whole of Match bullsh*t!

Waste Of Money
At least 30% of the profiles on the site are fake and scammers. 70% are not paying members. Do the math. This site is a complete waste of money. I firmly believer I am getting likes from people far away and they are set up by match.com just to keep my interest up. I signed up for 3 months. Ugh! Never again.

AVOID MATCH.COM

I canceled my subscription 20 days…
I canceled my subscription 20 days after I signed up for lack of available prospects and Match locked my account although they said one could keep using the app till the end of the subscription I paid for. Tried to contact customer service and I was sent notice that I had to appeal using their forms which I did, but their response was I had to do it again. When I pointed out I had done it already I was told to do it again and the matter was closed with no further replies from them. They are basically stealing AND they have all my data and photos which they can use who knows how without me not having access to delete!

The worst!!!
I paid for match.com about 2 weeks ago, but they blocked my account with saying anything yesterday. I was so shocked!!! What a worst experience I have had in my life!!! I have sent a dew email to them, but there is NO answer!!!

Race to the bottom
AI banning my accounts instantly, and ignoring my support emails. Do humans work here anymore? Auto-banning multiple of my accounts because their platform is uniquely incapable of performing basic facial recognition for age verification. Completely unhinged!

This is a complaint sent to Match.com
This is a complaint sent to Match.com. Why am I only getting people that are 80% scammers............loads of people like me, but they are all scammers.....................WHY am I getting SO MANY likes from women who do not exist??? You continually notify me of people who like me, NONE EVER REPLY............I suspect you pick people out on your own behalf and send them to me..........some have replied and said they never sent a like as I am not even there type or live to far away.............I mention to many of them its free to reply as I have the extras..............they never answer, do not even browse..........I spent good money paying for ALL the extras your service provides and its wasted? nobody uses it........I have plenty browsing my profile, again, I suspect buttons are being pushed at your end to make it appear there is interest in my profielllllllllllllllllllThe only women who bother to contact me are scammers...........thats how I know they are scammers.......yet I report these scammers as they only want my wotsapp..........reported about 30 on here and 150 on Plenty of Fish.............your site has taken my money and not delivered? Why are no people getting in touch with me when its free to do so? Afraid I am going to have to send a large review to Trustpilot.........a very big one............not had a single woman get in touch......all you send is reminders to subscibe as my subscription runs out soon..............dont care what you say, but I do believe you are manipulating the controls from your end.............First day I joined somebody liked me.........shes not been online since...........weird isnt it? Somebody liked me a few days ago......not been online since - weird isnt it.............3 in the first week lked me, never been online since...............weord isnt it?............you are NOT a reputable site to be trustedThe scammers are only after one thing your contact details, hopefully Wotsapp...they ask you for it, you send it you might get a response, that confirms your details are correct, then you never hear from them again......or you dont hear from them at all....bUT your spam box suddenly starts filling up....they have a side line that they sell your contact details to 3rd parties to. If they are 10 plus years younger than you 100% sign of a scammer, chances are they live in the same town BUT cannot tell you the name of the street they live in....failing that, they want desperatly to meet you, but need the Train fare or money for petrol to reach you....do not PAYPAL anyone on any site

What a complete and utter waste of time…
What a complete and utter waste of time and money.1. The kind of people they match you with is just BS. I am a gay man and get all these women in my views - my profile states no women.2. The amount of scammers on the site is crazy, when I first signed up it would be "this profile has been removed for suspicious behavior " every single day.3. No phone support, only email and it takes for ever.4. Hard to cancel your account.

There is no back office support
There is no back office support. Repeated requests just go unanswered. The search engine is clunky and inaccurate.

I’m paying for the most expensive…
I’m paying for the most expensive subscription on Match, and I’m extremely disappointed. I set my ZIP code and distance preferences correctly (within 50 miles), but I keep getting matches 100–200 miles away. This has been going on for weeks.I contacted Match multiple times, and all I get are automated responses telling me to change my settings — but they are already correct. There is no real customer support, no human response, and no interest in fixing this issue. This is unacceptable for a paid service. The platform does not respect your preferences and seems to ignore basic location filters. I feel ignored, frustrated, and misled. Match, please do better.

I wished I read Truspilot before…
I wished I read Truspilot before falling into that scam. Be aware that there are many old profiles of inactive people. the page takes your money without your authorization, change your credit card. very bad matches and nobody answered.

Match.com are blackmailers.
The main purpose of dating sites appears to be extracting cash from vulnerable people. In the case of Match.com, you, as the punter, are sent encouraging messages from other site "members" and then invited to message that "member". At which point, you might think that a message field would be made available. Oh no. Nothing so simple. Large window appears demanding one of several alternative expensive subscription options in order to release the "members" details. That subscription is nearly impossible to cancel. Suggestion: Lose your card and your bank will provide a new one, with different i/d data on it. Which confuses the organisation's computers. Just don't provide details of your new card, if requested. Dating sites in general, appear to be a mugs game. An extremely frustrating game at that. You will have more success down the pub, chatting up the bar maids. An addendum. As a result of doing a bit of homework, it appears that many/most of the online dating sites are part of the Match Group. Using similar cash extraction methods as each other. Before engaging the services of an Online dating service, YOU SHOULD FIRST, check to establish if your intended provider "is part of the Match Group". Google will give you an immediate answer. Should your new group be part of Match, expect the worst. They have found a rich vein of income (online daters) and exploit it to their fullest immoral advantage. On their own admission, Match have just a 3% success rate. If you value your cash, stay away from Any Match related organisation. CHECK, CHECK, CHECK FIRST, BEFORE COMMITTING ONE SINGLE PENNY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Total rip off like ALL other dating sites
Total rip off, cancelled my free subscription well within time limit, find out 8 months later my account has been paying them "19.99" a month, I cancelled as after 40 messages being sent I had 0 replies, like other comments suggest this once good site has gone to the scammers community with the other 99% of dating sites. Hopefully these testimonials I can show my bank I was indeed victim of fraudulence.

I tried match.com again after many…
I tried match.com again after many years and to my surprise it has drastically changed from a good dating site to a scam site. They do everything they can to keep you from making any matches. I purchased a Bronze membership only to realize I couldn't do much more than the free membership. All of my likes and messages from profiles the pics were blurred out so you couldn't see who it was that sent the like or message. This is so deceitful and misleading business practice for a site that supposed to help you find a date. All they want is your money and don't want you to find anyone so you'll continue using the site and spend more money to do so. Total waste of time and money, I had one free intro per day to send and all of the intros I sent to profiles never responded, not even one reply. So, I'm thinking these profiles were fake and probably most on this site are. I'm done using dating sites to try and find a date. Most woman profiles (if they are real) are single moms or divorced because they were tired of being married and want to go out to party and sleep with all the guys they can find. Don't waste your time and money on this site....
