Lanshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across lanshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with lanshack and I will order from them again for future projects!

Cables are well made but because of a shipping error, I got these cables several days after I had anticipated receiving them. My brother was visiting for a week and wanted to see the difference but he already left. Purchased 1/24/26 ans paid for 2nd day Air. Items were transferred for shipping on 1/29/26 and only received today 2/09/26 and was told it was mistakenly shipped via Ground.

Order Delay, But Amazing Customer Support
Order did not process as promised. Had to spend a bunch of time on the phone with consistent calling to get details.Customer support was on point. They got it shipped next day air and refunded me my 2-day shipping.The delay didn't sting us or the customer, and LANShack customer service team came through in the end.

Easy customer interface, would like better communication
We needed a short-notice order of cables - both standard CAT 6 as well as some customized materials due to the connectors and coloring. The website was easy to use, we submitted the order and had our standard CAT 6 cables show up 2 days later - in AK! Unfortunately, the delivery estimate for the custom cables continues to be delayed- first due to manufacturing requirements (because it was custom- totally understandable), but more recently due to "production demand or if a cable does not pass our strict test standards prior to shipment" which has me concerned. We also did not get notice of the changed expected ship date until 2 days after the cables were expected to ship (which would have been expected delivery date). Holding out hope the cables ship this time, as our lack is holding up the entire project.
