Kraken was simple to set up and easy to use. Coinbase is garbage. 5 people that I am aware of have had their accounts shut down and I personally make that number rise to six. Coinbase claims the accounts will be restored shortly saying 7 days. I’ve advised all of them to move their activity to kraken where I have never had any issues. I know that four of them have made the move and none have had their accounts restored on Coinbase! Coinbase is a substandard exchange and should be investigated for what and why they do this to their clients. Minimally they should be legally required to explain why they are closing accounts. Bottom line; use kraken and never Coinbase. When you impact the bottom line for Coinbase they might get the message loud and clear!

The constant issue of not being able to sell my crypto when it hits it high point and then trying buy when its at low point not to mention the loss of crypto from trying to transfer it and it never went to my account even tho I literally copy and pasted the account .its like juts taking my money and throwing it in the toilet. So I stopped using the app and went to robinhood and coinbase and dont have those issues. Its happened so many times I lost count so cant give u exact days

I have been using Kraken since 2022 with 6 digits amounts trading.Here are the no-gos:- the terms are changing in a extreme short of time, and of course it is to make you pay more, and you cant predict in advance....- the UI is soooo slow, it becomes just unusuable: like wtf are you a startup???- the support/AI is useless.Here are the advantages: they support CHF and deposit/withdraw fees are really low.There is better elsewhere!

Too expensive whenever I make a purchase. For example if Solana is $117 when I go through the process I have to pay $121. Then I check my portfolio later and Solana is only worth $117. These companies are just greedy! I am sure they must be enjoying the regulations govt have set, as now they have justification for greed. Poor people always pay more

I've contacted them multiple times over the past 20 days with the same question, but I haven't received a response or resolved the issue. They promised to fix it, but I haven't heard anything since.It seems like they're trying to scam their customers.Do not use this platform.

I am extremely disappointed with the delay in getting the tax forms (particularly the 1099-DA) out to customers. From my perspective, there has been very little urgency or care from the company which is evidenced by the numerous complaints in the kraken subreddit. The IRS has given the following guidance to brokers: "Brokers must send taxpayers a copy of the same information they report to the IRS on Form 1099-DA by Feb. 17,2026" and Kraken has been in violation of this.I have every other tax form that I need but will now be forced to pay extra when filing my taxes due to the early filing discounts expiring at the end of this month. Once I get my form I plan on deleting my Kraken account.
