very bad experience trying to sell
very bad experience trying to sell my car (via Motorway). Really bad communication, and excuses (more like lies) from Red Middleton. He bid on my car and won, then went on holiday to Paris for a week - go figure! Finally gave up and sold to somebody else (at a loss of £2000) If these cretins do try and buy your car avoid them!!! They might have gone bust though by the looks of things...

Gone bust?
I bought a car from JustEVs in June 2023. Purchase and delivery went smoothly. I got a good trade-in value for my previous car and a good price on the new one. Communication was a little bit lacking, there was no confirmation call or email either on the delivery day or the day before to confirm that the delivery was going ahead as planned and a rough ETA. I gave them a call, however, and all was good.Delivery of the car went smoothly. The driver dropped the car off and let me check over and get familiarised with the new car while he also inspected my trade-in. To my surprise he hadn't been told about the few areas that needed attention on my old car, which I had previously provided detailed descriptions and pictures of. He was nice enough though and there was no fuss about any of these things. He took the car away with no hassle at all. All in all a nice friendly guy and as my first face-to-face interaction with someone operating on behalf of JustEVs, he represented them very well. This is where things start to go downhill.2 weeks later I emailed to say that I was happy with the car, and also pointed out that the tax had run out. As this was a distance purchase with a 14-day return period, I hadn't been provided with the old logbook or new keeper slip. I was told this would get done after the 14 days was up. Therefore I couldn't tax it or transfer the car to my name myself yet. JustEVs taxed the car for me after my email but for reasons unknown they did not do the change of registered keeper (I didn't realise this until a bit later). I waited a couple of weeks and there was still nothing from DVLA. I emailed to ask for confirmation that this had been done and got no response. I gave them benefit of the doubt and waited for the full DVLA processing time of 4 weeks, but still nothing. I emailed again, this time receiving a reply from the sales rep saying he has been off and was now working from home and that the old logbook was probably still sitting in the out tray in the office. "Leave it with me" he said.10 days pass and still no update except:All their stock on Autotrader disappeared.Their website partially shut down - the only page accessible is a "sell your car" form.Their head office on Google maps has been marked as permanently closed and reviews disabled.Their Facebook page has been marked as permanently closed.Phone lines dead.Companies House shows their accounts overdue and status as "active proposal to strike off". (Their registered company name is The Bright Ideas Factory ltd).Me and 2 others voiced concerns on one of their Facebook posts, and our comments have been deleted. The company has seemingly gone out of business with absolutely no transparency or communication to their customers, leaving us no choice but to speculate. In fact they are going out of their way to silence customers as evidenced above. There are likely multiple other customers without logbooks and I have been contacted by another customer who has found out that his recently purchased car still has outstanding finance against it. If you are reading this and have bought a car from JustEVs in the last few months (May-Aug 2023), do yourself a favour and spend £10 on an HPI check. For those who haven't received a new logbook, complete DVLA form V62 for a new one. It will unfortunately cost another £25 for a new logbook.

Very good experience selling my EV car to them
Sold my EV car to them and I was very happy. Must admit was hesitant at first given the (small number) of reviews here but luckily the experience was surprisingly very very good. Starting with the fair price offered, I shopped around and tried to sell directly but they offered slightly higher than anyone else (I guess being EV specialist, they can offer a fair price for all parties). Talking to them on the phone it felt like they were super busy, direct, but at the same time no nonsense and professional. They scheduled a time to pick up from my home. Although they were a few hours late they kept calling to advise the situation which mitigated the issue completely as I could re-plan my day. That communication was of the highest level. Upon collection, they stuck with the discussed price which I appreciated. In fact, the person who came to inspect and collect was super professional and super nice. Money was transferred, car was professionally loaded, job done. Recommend

Great car, really helpful dealer
I bought a Hyundai Kona electric (Premium SE) from Just EVs. In the Autotrader ad it looked very good value for a top of the range, low mileage 3 year old car. I viewed it at Just EV’s Salisbury warehouse, and was very impressed. I’ve now had the car just over two weeks and it has exceeded my expectations. It really does have the range claimed. Is a joy to drive. Just EVs have been very helpful throughout the process. They gave me a good part exchange price for my 8 year old Audi A1, and made the exchange a painless process. Would thoroughly recommend the car and the dealer.

Don't bother with them
Don't bother with them, timewasters. Filled in the online form (which is an email submit, not a real time valuation). Got an email a day or two later asking for info which I provided along with all the pics. I asked for best offer by the following afternoon as I had an offer on the table for two days later. Got a smart alec email back from Ben Boxall saying 'write back again if you don't sell it on Motorway'. Hadn't said anything about Motorway or any other auctions and had given that time for another reason. Explained this, asked if they were interested in buying the EV and never got a reply.

Poor communication and customer service
My experience with JustEVs was awful and I'm quite surprised at their score here! They had won a bid to purchase my car back in mid-September, according to sales terms they should've picked up the car within a few days. I got a template email the next working day which was a good start but after that he was nearly impossible to get hold off either over the phone getting him to respond to emails. They failed to arrange to pick up the car for 2 weeks but eventually set a date and turned up to collect. Ahead of this appointment I reaffirmed the scuffs on my wheels and sent high res pictures of all my alloys which they confirmed ahead of the appointment was fine and won't effect the price. On the day of the collection they turned up and did an assessment of the car. The assessor highlighted the issues he found which was one very minor stone chip to the front bumper and scuffs on the alloys. They then called to discuss these issues where I reminded him that I sent the pictures of the alloys and he agreed I had and it was all fine. He went off to arrangement payment for the car.In this period I did a factory reset of my car, losing all my car configuration setting and access to my mobile app. The person collecting the car even wanted to get it on the back of his truck. About 20 minutes later they called and said his Manager suddenly decided to pull out of the deal citing 'damages not reported' which he conceded wasn't the alloys as I sent the pictures ahead of time which only leaves a stone chip was measured a few millimeters. They didn't offer another price and before I know the truck driver even drove off!Despite attempting numerous times to get a straight answer from the company why they wasted my time, no one would get back to me, they wouldn't answer my calls or emails. It seems quite apparent to me now they bid for the car willy nilly and then the agent proceeded with the sale without authorisation. It's only when it came to sending the money did it get reviewed by Management who decided they don't want to go ahead. In summary, I'm not even upset about them not going ahead with the purchase but it was their poor communication, very difficult to get hold off, promises of call backs made from everyone you speak with no follow through. Just a really bad customer service experience!
