I hired J David Tax Law to resolve 4 years of tax problems. I was first audited by the IRS and later audited again for the same periods. Of course, the tax burden only went up. With no explanation ever provided. My attorney, Muir Bulman, could only tell me that this was highly unusual but he could not get any answers from the IRS. I sent accounting evidence showing many errors in the audit, including one deposit of over $40,000 which was received and deposited in the following year of the return but charged to the previous year. Meanwhile, my interest and penalties were steadily going up. I refinanced my home and paid all of the tax debt, including taxes that were inaccurate.Upon doing so, I receive a phone call from Muir stating that since the taxes were paid, J David was closing the case. I paid them $16,400 to help resolve my tax problems. No tax year was reduced any amount, no corrections made, nothing. Muir did tell me that he would expect the IRS to credit me between $40,000 to $50,000. But shut the door in my face without as much as “good luck”. I read several positive reviews here but if you take my advice, you will go elsewhere for representation. Feel free to ask about my results with Muir. He will remember me from the many emails sent expressing my dissent over his performance and general lack thereof.

I would hire J. David Tax Law again because they are professional and get the job done. In 2013 we filed our tax return and the IRS sent us a notice that we overpaid by $271. In 2015 the IRS sent us a notice that we owed $44,816 on our 2013 taxes. We sent the IRS numerous banking documents, including a letter from the VP Bank Officer, proving the IRS wrong. The IRS sent notices from 3 different offices. After 8 years of correspondence, we hired J. David Tax Law. Our attorney, Erin, was fabulous. She constantly communicated with us every step of the way. Erin got the job done. We finally have a $0 balance due with the IRS. Plus, no more IRS notices regarding your 2013 tax return. Thank you Erin and JD Tax Law.
