SCAM
Update. 14 months later - no refund of my $800.00. They are a SCAM. I sent messages to them every couple of months asking for my promised refund. They changed the terms and conditions on refunds in Feb and a few months later cancelled my account. After offering a refund they refused to answer any of 6 service tickets asking about the refund.Total scam! Likely very close to bankruptcy given the complaints on line about them. DO NOT TRUST

4 month and still no notes. A waste of time and money.
I hate writing this, but if it saves someone else shelling out what I wasted... This company has gone from being my first choice for coverage for nearly a decade to the last I'd ever use.Submitted a script for coverage in late April. What I got back was useless: whole scenes skipped/not read, inaccuracies all over the synopsis, report padded with generalities - nothing usable. I submitted a complaint and heard nothing for 3 MONTHS because "regrettably your query was in the junk folder".To be fair, they offered me a free set of notes to replace the first but so far - 5 days after the delivery deadline they set - it still hasn't arrived, nor have they answered my query asking when it might. This service costs nearly 200 dollars and nearly four and half months after submitting my script, I still have no usable notes/coverage from them. I won't waste my time or money with them again. Coverage Ink and WeScreenplay and others offer excellent services and deliver on their advertised thoroughness and turnaround times.

Script Coverage Reporting
I’ve used IS script coverage on a few projects now and found the feedback notes to be excellent, with no sugar coating included. Analysts provided detailed, carefully constructed insights that helped me begin the process of elevating my screenplays. I highly recommend IS script services.

After completing a draft of my screenplay
After completing a draft of my screenplay, Turn of the Century, I sought professional feedback before committing to raising funding for the project. I looked online at a few possibilities before choosing Industrial Scripts, their website made me feel that they would be completely honest and thorough which is what I needed before deciding whether my script was worth progressing. I was not disappointed, the work done on my script was well worth the fee and after absorbing the in depth notes, I decided to pursue the project, Their feedback was the reason I decided to continue with the film. I have no hesitation in recommending them to any script writer who is wondering about the quality of their work, they were able to advise on points of formatting and character progression and plot progression. 10/10.

They pinpointed where the script needed needed more details and where to take stuff out.
They pinpointed where the script needed more work in order to elevate it. Their guidance was greatly appreciated and insightful. Will use them again.

A great experience
A great experience working with Industrial Scripts. They manage to really help nail down the story and get the script to where we need it! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for help with their script.

Industrial Scripts TITAN 3rd place winner - The best!
My screenplay The Carrier came in 3rd place in Industrial Scripts Inaugural TITAN awards. Even before I won I found their notes during the contest to be terrific. Detailed and thoughtful. When I won I was excited enough about the prize package, but the actual experience of working with Industrial Scripts this year has far exceeded my expectations. That started with my conversations with the TITANS themselves. They gave well thought out, constructive advice both on improving the screenplay and on the industry in general. It's impossible to overstate how good people at this level of the industry are at breaking down story and character. They work with A-list talent and spoke to me in terms of how an actor like Jake Gyllenhaal, or a studio head with greenlight power, would receive my script. It was fun, insightful, and gave me clear focus moving forward on both how to improve the script and how to market it. I cannot thank them enough for their time. Next was my interaction with my personal marketing rep, Brooke, which remains ongoing throughout this year. She has reached out to more than 400 industry contacts, and gotten my script about 20-30 reads. She's kept me posted with frequent updates through out the process. The goal is to get me read, and that is happening. Finally I have had several terrific script coaching sessions with my personal script coach James. We are discussing both The Carrier and my next project as well. He has also provided extensive written notes. He is great at breaking down my scripts, (and scripts in general, it's fun just talking about different movies and TV shows and how and why they work) and I have really been able to hone in on exactly what my strengths and weaknesses are as a writer. It's been exciting and motivational - I can almost feel myself getting better with each draft now. All in all I have had a wonderful experience with Industrial Scripts - and it's still not over! Highest possible recommendation.

Industrial Scripts and TITAN Awards = THE BEST
I was the First Place Gold Award Winner in the first ever TITAN Awards from Industrial Scripts for 2021. IS has exceeded everything they promised with the TITAN, more than fulfilling the awards this year for winning the TITAN in 2021. In the past six months, I have received active, SUCCESSFUL marketing from the group with one REAL, LIVE person assigned to me and my winning script, multiple calls with a development pro to discuss ANY script that I want - and these calls last 3-4 hours each (and include well-thought out notes), in-depth meetings with the Titan Producers who are serious Hollywood veterans, and major discounts on IS products including ACTIONABLE coverage and notes that are not "fill-in-the-blank" garbage that writers often receive from other sites/companies. I quickly received my money award for winning the TITAN as well. Even after my award year of 2022 is over, I will continue to look to the fine people at Industrial Scripts for script coverage, help and guidance in my writer's journey. I wholeheartedly recommend Industrial Scripts, their services, and the TITAN Awards Competition.

Buyer Beware - Effective Script reading Course
Took out the Effective Script Reading Course in March 2021. The course was advertised as "in person on their website". I assumed it would be held by Zoom or socially distanced (as education was continuing during Covid at that time). Paid £150, when I emailed in requesting further information, I was told I would have to take out the online course and pay another £145. This course is advertised as coming with "lifetime access".The course itself is pretty much just articles with a multiple choice quiz. It's not exactly Masterclass.com quality, no videos and takes an age to get through. But it is detailed. However for £295 it's overpriced. As of January 2022 - my access has been wiped. No one from IS has got back to me and the opaque nature of the business shows a lack of customer engagement.Either they are purposely ignoring my requests, ignorant to my requests or no one is there as they are going bust/ghost ship online business.Pretty positive someone from IS will reply here to negate this review. Which I can assure everyone is genuine. Thanks for reading.

Constructive writer report
Really helpful report picking up on areas of weakness that I hadn't noticed in my script. Reader recommendations were constructive and respectful - I will be implementing these into my next draft. Turnaround time of my script was also good. I will be using Industrial Scripts again in the future.

A Reputation Built On Phoney Reviews
It is not surprising that they have a star-studded slew of reviews as it is totally rigged. Try putting a bad review and you experience a wall of attack from them, including a lifetime ban and attack emails sent about you to third parties, no matter how accurate your review was. As far as these primadonnas are concerned, they seem to view that they own any writer that contacts them, and have a right to edit and censor any bad reviews against them. I wrote an accurate review on another web site about their appalling and slovenly support staff and the general, almost cult-like, cloak-and-dagger way that they run their business and I have been persistent attack ever since. The bottom line is: don't believe their glittering bank of reviews, they obtain these through aggressive and over-reaching tactics.

Really happy with the service provided
Great notes given by IS. I needed help with my third act in particular - and the option of being able to ask questions in advance was invaluable as it allowed for the report to be tailored to suit my unique requirements; rather than just getting a load of generic advice. If I was being hypercritical I would have to say the service wasn’t as fast as others I have used. But as with everything in screenwriting, slow and steady wins the race.Would highly recommend IS to others.

Skin-deep analysis
Industrial Script’s analysis has been far away from their reputation and surprisingly skin-deep. Their approach has been quite dogmatic -all scenarios must comply to a certain prescription! Communication with them is also bad: you have to wait for at least 3-4 days for a response to your messages even if that has to do with an email you should “automatically” receive after submitting your project in order to sign up, but you have never received. But what is really disappointing is that they attempt to apply strict frameworks which supposedly lead to marketability onto a purely creative process; the art of writing.

Industrial Scripts -Effective Script Reading Course was a great way to understand what the studio readers are looking for to pass that script on for development. An insight to the gate keepers which will help you gain a better understanding of the commercial viability of yours and others scripts, popular genres as well as equipping you with the tools to write a professional report. Not to mention it will help you gain a better understanding of your own script in development. A friendly course, with lots of information.D Fox

Friendly and informative course
A well run, friendly and informative course that I would thoroughly recommend. Having said that, some of the emails sent out are surprisingly rude.

Truly exception feedback on my treatment. Highly professional, thorough and with such evident care for the work they do. Not only was the report itself remarkably thorough and trenchant in its writings, but the analyst also went above and beyond to write additional pages beyond what was quoted. And it's a fantastic feeling to know that someone is reading your work because they are interested in it - not just doing their job.

The script reading course was packed full of useful information suitable for both beginners and those wanting to improve their skill base. The assessment was challenging, but a realistic introduction to the role of a script reader which will be beneficial when looking for work in the industry. I thoroughly recommend.
