I can not understand why I started with…

I can not understand why I started with this website to watch anime, because I loved it at the start but everything is breaking each day.

I’ve been using Funimation for a while

I’ve been using Funimation for a while, hoping things would improve, but the experience worsens. Constant buffering, poor app functionality, and a glitchy interface make it nearly impossible to enjoy the shows. Even with strong internet, episodes rarely play smoothly.Customer service is equally disappointing; responses are either delayed or unhelpful. To top it off, cancelling my subscription was a struggle, and I had to go through my bank to ensure I wasn’t charged further. At this point, the only thing Funimation offers reliably is frustration. Not worth the subscription cost – I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you’re an anime fan.

10 bucks for Premium should be considered theft

On all platforms, the apps are abysmal. Constant buffering with great internet speeds, auto play is out of the question for shows that have extras, and it constantly changes your selected language back to default every episode or so. At this point I feel like 10 bucks a month should be considered theft. Cons outweigh the pros and the only pro worth mentioning is the variety.

Hilariously bad

if i could give funimation a 0 stars i absolutely would.I mean my god this website is so bad its hilarious.How and i mean HOW on gods green earth do you not fix the constant buffering/glitches that occur every 30 seconds while watching. Its actually impossible to stay sane when I cant get thru a 20 min ep without it buffering and glitching a thousand times.

Three repeat failures when I HAD money…

Three repeat failures when I HAD money in my account 3 days ago. THEN they attempted to steal my money when I wasn't looking! What - are they actually SPECTRUM masquerading as Funimation? Spectrum is FAMOUS for illegal unauthorized transactions, double billing, billing for TV services when you're an Internet subscriber with streaming services. They're so incompetent they can't TAKE a payment WHEN ITS RIGHT THERE! So they only take UNAUTHORIZED payments now? Maybe they're switching to SPECTRUM

Absolute Scam Artists

I decided to cancel my subscription due to the horrible lag I experienced trying to watch anything on their site. However, after both cancelling my payments AND deleting my entire account, I STILL was charged repeatedly for the service.I spoke to SEVERAL different representatives, and showed them proof of being charged, yet no-one helped. The one person that seemed genuinely interested in helping me (Eduardo M), was shut down by the higher ups before he could do anything.The only way I could stop the payments was literally cancelling my entire credit card.

Use crunchyroll

Hands down worst streaming service. Get through one episode and then freezes and you have to start the process all over again. As I saw in a comment below but if counterfeit sites can do 50x better what's wrong with you a legit company? Thank Gods crunchyroll exists.

I've been a subscriber for multiple…

I've been a subscriber for multiple years to support the community but the buffering is every 20 seconds and it's unbearable. Literally counterfeit sites offer better services then this. They have set the bar far below abysmal. It's not a one off it's every single day, every single show. No matter what time of day.

Funimation would not cancel my monthly…

Funimation would not cancel my monthly subscription- when asked to they asked question after question and then finally ghosted me in the end and never responded again. They have it set up so your bank can't make a cancelment either. Now I'm closing my bank account - Never using Chase , or Funimation again.

Bought funimation through iTunes Didn’t work at allContacted support.. 2 weeks later they went quiet. Did not provide any supportThought the Crunchyroll take over would improve my experience.. Beware they are terrible

IT'S UNBELIEVABLY BAD

Want to change passwords. Can't do it. Want to add a credit card. Can't do it. Want to try sign into paypal because for some reason you still want to give this website your money. Can't do that either.

Incompetence Supreme

Hands down the worst service I’ve ever had the displeasure of signing up to. The App won’t cast to Chrome, Marathon Mode simply isn’t a feature even though it claims so in your settings. Have to manually go back to the home menu and select the next episode. The ‘Next Episode’ button too says it exists but pressing it does nothing. Enabling ‘Mature Mode’ also does nothing. Even trying to cancel your subscription is purposefully hard and tedious, to the point I just called my bank and cancelled the card attached to the account. Funimation get get F’d, anyone who has anything to do with the App should be ashamed, don’t any of you take any pride in your work/job. I’d be embarrassed to mention any relation to this abortion.

This service is trash, save your $$$

Unable to stream 1080p with a good internet connection. Service is auto cancelled when you unsub regardless of how many days left in the 30 day payment window.

Stolen money!

After having this service 2 for years, the latest annual renewal of $86, they supended my account and have not started it back up or given me a refund. Repeated correspondence always ends the same.. they ask for a screen shot of the receipt. I send it via reply email and then no response to many attempts at an update. 6 months I've been trying to fix this issue. They have no problem keeping my money and giving me nothing in return. NEWSFLASH Funimation: That's called theft!

The worst streaming site available. It's always buffering and in low quality. Why did they have to buy out animelab. Animelab was far superior.

I have been contacting customer service…

I have been contacting customer service since Nov about my account. I always get a message back saying they are working on it but the is still no solution. I tried to delete my card off the account so they can't continue to charge me but you have to add another card before you can delete it. My son loved it the first year but ever since the renewal we have had issues.

Trying to stream the digital content I have

Trying to stream the digital content I have through their site is absolutely awful. Stream keeps stopping but when it continues it acts as though it never stopped so it just jumps forward to where it SHOULD have been. The content looks absolutely awful on my HDR monitor so I need to move the player to a second display or just stare at awful artifacting.
