I have been a user of Facebook since…

I have been a user of Facebook since 2011 and when my account got hacked by false accusations they just disabled it permanently. Really disappointed how they handled it. Never going to use it again!!!

Forgotten password? I don't think so!

Here's the deal. I hate Facebook with it's bullying and inciting behaviour but it's useful sometimes to get in touch with people I know or find a local tradesperson! I get sick of it so I try to deactivate my account for a while to take a break. To deactivate, Facebook asks for your password. I enter my password, I'm told it's wrong, so I enter another, wrong! After 5 attempts, I choose the "forgotten password" option. They want to send a verification code via WhatsApp.. OK. I enter the code, I'm told it's incorrect, they send another, incorrect, another, incorrect, etc. 5 attempts and they tell me to wait until tomorrow. I ask to verify another way. They say they've sent a code to my email... no, not there! SMS... no, not there! All I want to do is reset my password so I can deactivate my account, yes? So I'm now pretty pissed off and concerned that I can't secure my account because I've forgotten my password and can't reset it. So I go to "delete account" where they ask me to enter my password. I enter the very first password I put in before and, lo and behold, it's accepted! I hadn't forgotten my password at all. Big brother just doesn't want you to leave or they want you to enter every password you ever use and give them every means of communication you have... emails, phone numbers, the lot! Forgive me for being suspicious but I don't get this from any other company when I apparently "forget" my password! This isn't a one off, it's EVERY time I've tried to deactivate my account.

Poor Customer Service

Facebook suspended my verified page I had since 2017. I never changed the profile picture or posted anything and they decided 3 months ago I was impersonating someone and the picture was not me. I sent them valid ID which included a Passport and Drivers License and they would not allow me to appeal as the link to do that was broken. I spoke to Meta numerous times on the phone but they couldn’t fix the problem. They stated that someone must have reported my page as being fake and they believed them and suspended my page. This is the same company that said it was ok for someone to threaten to kill me. They apparently are allowed to do that.

Hi Facebook Marketplace should be…

Hi Facebook Marketplace should be called Facebook Scamplace. I have been looking at Jaguar I-Pace cars and the amount of scams is unbelievable. There is one car on there 6 times same photographs 6 different sellers all over the country. I would have thought you would have asked for the registration number on all cars that are advertised. This would help you wonderful AI technology stop people from being scammed, surely this must be one of your top priorities but then again you company greedy needs come before everything else.

Feedback on Friends & Followers Features Improvement

As much as we appreciate what Meta Platforms has done to evolve Facebook — especially the improvements for creators, monetization tools, reels, and professional mode — there are still important issues that need attention, particularly around how friends and followers function. In 2026, it’s surprising that users still cannot unfriend multiple people with a simple one-click or bulk option. We have to manually go into each profile and remove friends one by one. For users with thousands of connections, this process is exhausting and inefficient. A bulk “manage friends” feature with filters (inactive accounts, deactivated profiles, no mutual interaction, etc.) would significantly improve user experience.Another issue is “ghost friends” — accounts that have deactivated or abandoned the platform but still occupy space in our friends list. There should be an automated cleanup option that identifies inactive or deactivated accounts and allows us to remove them easily.Additionally, the 5,000-friend limit feels outdated, especially in an era where personal brands, creators, entrepreneurs, and professionals are growing communities. While the follow feature helps, the restriction still limits organic relationship-building and networking. If platforms are encouraging digital growth and creator economies, the friend cap should evolve accordingly — or at least provide more flexible solutions for hybrid personal/creator accounts. This feedback is not criticism of the platform’s innovation — Facebook has done incredibly well in empowering creators and businesses. However, the friends and followers system needs modernization to match the direction the platform is moving in.We love the platform. We just want the social infrastructure to grow with us.

Discriminatory tests + being disabled = disabled account

This review is regarding the sudden and unjustified suspension of my account. Despite my best efforts to comply, I was unable to complete the checkpoint challenge due to a disability, which was not accommodated for. My account was disabled following an unproven accusation of breaching Community Standards. The actions I took were innocuous and involved interacting with a DJ's radio show featuring my band's music. I've detailed the timeline below:I am on a recently released album for The Sophie Lancaster charity with my band Grooving In Green. This was all relevant to the actions I took that went against their Community Standards: A Brazilian DJ decided to play some tracks from the album on her radio show. I went on the article, said 'Cheers,' and she replied with clinking glasses. I thought about it and was unsure if that was not polite enough, so I went back in and edited it to say 'cheers for the inclusion.' I then logged in as my band and said 'Thank you' with a green heart. I am sadly unable to screen print this as you have disabled any access I have. The DJ then asked to be my friend. It was at that moment a pop-up came up, and you demanded that I look into my camera and look left and right. Due to my above disability, I struggled. I tried my best but obviously failed. That was my appeal. The 'look left and right' test was discriminatory and caused me significant distress, triggering my PTSD and exacerbating my physical disability. In contrast, Instagram offered a simpler verification process. A text was sent to my phone with a number; simple and effective.I've lost access to cherished memories, my son's early life and pictures of dead friends and my band's presence, causing ongoing mental health issues. They have thus far replied to nothing and have not rectified the situation. I can no longer access my bad business page and have lost all my saved messages and contact details for everyone on there

The Facebook supports the Russian war in Ukraine

Sirs, I can’t understand what’s happened to the Facebook? They do NOT delete pro Russian or pro- Kremlin bots and their russian propaganda pages who hates Ukraine posting regularly their hateful comments and fakes but:- they regularly delete those comments who are opposite them. Then the Facebook declares the hate speech of those who are opposite the Russian bots. Why the hateful comments of the Russian bots are not considered as the hate speech and mine pro-Ukraine comments are considered as hate and are deleted by Facebook?Does the Facebook support Russia and Russian war in Ukraine? The Facebook actions make me think it supports the Russian war in Ukraine and fights against those who are against the Russian bots.Shame on you, Facebook!

Too Many Ads and Privacy Concerns

Too Many Ads and Privacy ConcernsFacebook has become frustrating to use. The feed is overloaded with ads and suggested content, making it hard to see posts from friends and family. It feels more like a marketplace than a social platform.I’m also concerned about privacy and how personal data is handled. The platform keeps adding features, but the overall user experience seems to be getting worse instead of better.

it consumes a lot of time with little real benefit

Honestly, my use of Facebook has become very limited because I feel like it consumes a lot of time with little real benefit. There is occasionally some good content, but most of the time it ends up being aimless scrolling. I hope they focus more on improving content quality and reducing distractions.

Great Way to Stay Connected

Facebook makes it easy to stay connected with friends, family, and communities around the world. I love being able to share updates, photos, and join groups that match my interests. The platform is user-friendly and constantly adding new features to improve the experience. It’s a great tool for networking, entertainment, and keeping up with what’s happening. Highly recommended!

Banned for life for describing myself as crippled

On 2/10/1997 the nhs crppled me in a routine op for a bulging disc causing sciatica by damaging c6/c7 of my spinal column - I can't even stand and have to be hoisted, my nhs notes say crippled frequently, though verbally nhs staff describe me "severely disabled" fearing offending me. I was hoping to host a family of Ukrainians, working class lad making good through Grammar and Uni, in one of few remaining Grammars, did nicely too in my 10 years working, but needed potential guests to understand I was crippled- I beleive ib plain speaking and truth over political correctness! Never expected to be banned, let alone for life from Meta for it, I ythink at least - Facebook software has a bug which took ages to build up is dossier but could not be downloaded! So much for AI! It did however tell me if I disagreed I could go via "local courts", which I believed to be UK ones, so I did. Then hit by Facebook's solicitors saying I had to sue in Missouri in the US! was a supporter of Facebook and social media, and opposed to restraints on social media, but Facebook is putting itself above UK law and district judge has dismissed my small claims case(no hearing) and stuck me with Facebooks egal costs - very unusual, supposed to be limited to exceptional cases. Now if the courts do this to Starmers proposed new laws.......I'm disabled, I can't bring a case in Missouri but seeing what else I can do here, is that the court breaking our Equality Act? Biggest losers are the Ukrainian family!
