Terrible Customer Service at East Dallas Vet
After 4 years of using East Dallas Vet, they have lost me as a customer. There was a misunderstanding regarding a grooming appointment which caused a lot of frustration and time wasted on my part; however I remained respectful and reasonable with all of the staff involved and simply asked to bring my pet back at no charge so they could complete the service I asked, confirmed several times and waited over a month to get in for. After weeks of dragging the situation out, the Practice Manager, Fran Meredith, not only refused my request but blamed me for her employee’s mistakes. Wow.It blows my mind the Practice Manager (and the business owners) were willing to lose over $500/yr in veterinary and grooming visit income from me because they were not willing to accept responsibility for their mistakes (and meet a very reasonable request). This speaks not only to poor business acumen on the part of the Practice Manager but also very poor customer service from East Dallas Vet. My request was an inexpensive solution ($45) to rectify a misunderstanding yet they dragged the situation out for weeks to then come back and blame me for the mistake on their end. Their vet services may be acceptable (average at best), but their customer service is terrible. In addition to this incident, their administrative staff are always overworked and rushed while the doctors and technicians move in and out of the appt rooms as quickly as possible. After this incident and how poorly it was handled, I will not be using East Dallas Vet anymore.
