The worst of the worst...can't speak to…

The worst of the worst...can't speak to anyone to get the parcel they tried to deliver an hour before they told me they were going to be there. Can only hope we see it next week as ts the weekend and the 100's of numbers , webchats and whatsapps go nowhere. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICe

DHL is the absolute worst company

DHL is the absolute worst company. They're always slow. They always miss deliveries and they just lie about people not being home. Why are companies still working with them? I don't get it.

DHL did they even try to deliver

The shop got my order out quickly - it was quite urgent. Delivery was supposed to be 11-12. Wirh delivery to neighbour if not in . 3 neighbours said they were in to collect for me .Goy back no parcel, no card message to say ' could not get access to premises 'Phoned 7770 number automated response. Whats app ( team is said to be there all day fir calls) same automated service. Arranged for delivery to shop collection next Monday! DHL save money not employing staff and millions of people waste their time calling useless numbers and waiting for parcels that dont arrive. At least DHL dont leave parcels on the street or foot path, but not that much better.Shops use the Royal Mail please

Uncontactable and unreliable

Uncontactable, and unreliable. I ordered from John Lewis, delivery address was my home address. An initial email said the delivery would be on a Thursday, nothing arrives. The next day, I get an email mid afternoon to say its been delivered. I've been at home all day, and I haven't received anything. I investigate and it seems its been delivered to a 'pick up point'. It doesn't explain where that pick up point is. I investigate further, its been delivered to my local Londis. I try and communicate via whatsapp to understand why this has happened, its obviously just AI and no help at all. I call and I have to go through a series of AI messages that don't seem to be able to understand anything I say despite being a native english speaker. After 18 minutes I get to speak to a person. He immediately puts me on hold for 2 minutes and eventually comes back and says that the driver attempted delivery at my home address. This is not true. My partner and I were in all day, and I have a ring doorbell. No attempt had been made. I explained that to the customer service contact who said he can see the driver attempted delivery at the wrong address. I asked him to confirm the address he attempted, assuming it would be one of my neighbours, its not even a road near me, there had clearly been no serious attempt and he's just dumped that days delivery at a local pick up point causing an inconvenience to a lot of people. Pure laziness. The customer service did his job but clearly didn't want to be on the call with me. Not a great experience all round. - Update, got to Londis and the collection code is for someone else's parcel. It turns out the driver had given all customers the same collection code, so none of us could get our products. DHL advised Londis not to release the parcel (that I had paid for) to me, despite it being their fault, and to let the 10 days expire so that the product could go back to the shop. Londis couldnt believe how bad DHL responded and neither could I. Unreal customer service policy.

Parcel schedule for yesterday the 26th tried to deliver it today a day late no one home we are both at work now delivering it on Monday so 3 days late wow what a company no calling card left won't be using DHL Again

2 x 'missed you' emails ...we were in

2 x 'missed you' emails ...we were in. These are obvious automated emails so they can meet their targets !! Ordered 16th Feb eventually arrived 25th and 26th Feb !! Luckily we wasn't in rush for items when they did arrive the boxes were bashed to pieces

Highly recommend you run away from using DHL

Wish had visited TrustPilot page for DHL before sending a package through the company. If there was an option of rating the company -5, I would have done that. DHL gave me the option of dropping off at one of their (so called) ServicePoint. Only for me to walk around for two hours going from one shop to the other (11 in total), only to be told that they have no business with DHL and were surprised that they were listed as that. Cancelled the order and the earlier quoted price went up. Paid for a within a 4 working days delivery and the recipient was told that it will be delivered the next week. Providing inaccurate information, causing delay with customs and missing the surprise element of the delivery. Will never deal with this big for nothing brand who are only living on past glory.

Don’t expect anything on time

I paid for express two day delivery . I am now six days later and the first contact I receive is telling me my delivery is rearranged for day 10 !

Their drivers are completely inept

Their drivers are completely inept. We, the customer, go to all extreme lengths to help them by getting the app and filling in all the fields showing photos of the safe place, the house, driveway etc etc and then they leave a cardboard packet in the pouring rain in the open in plain view of a public road. If I could upload a photo, it would show the completely collapsed sodden box with wine bottles all over the ground. They are RUBBISH.

Service is incredibly slow

Service is incredibly slow. Customer service is hard to reach and does not respond. I've been waiting for a package nearly 2 weeks that is coming from to NY to MD and has been sitting in Manassas VA for 1 week.

Impossible to get through to anyone

Impossible to get through to anyone - my parcel has not been delivered but I can’t call anyone or use their WhatsApp service as it’s all automated

Fedex are easier to deal with if you want to pay the correct VAT/Duty.

There seem to be lots of one star reviews for DHL, so here's another. My complaints lie with there high-handed approach to calculating import VAT/Duty. I paid duty on one delivery, even though it was never entered the county, as DHL returned it to sender. £238 out of pocket.The second delivery was delivered, but the wrong item sent, and import VAT miscalculated....a £30 bill became a £320 bill.There is no recourse, or discussion, they merely go through the motions and expect you to pay their inflated demands, and then suggest that it may be possible to reclaim the money from HMRC....have you ever tried....Try getting blood from a stone.I have never had a problem with Fedex, as they seem genuinely interested in helping.

Terrible company

Terrible company. I haven’t been able to receive my parcel for the second day. The first time they said they couldn’t access my address and sent a photo of a location on the map — but it wasn’t even close. Today they said I wasn’t at home, even though I was. From now on I’ll check who delivers before buying online, and if it’s DHL, I’ll buy elsewhere.

Running late

Parcel left depot on 20th Feb still not delivered only message I got is it's running late. Tried to get in touch had to use chat bot then got a what's app saying they would assist but nothing further. Looks like this company are as bad as people say.Update I got a message from DHL telling me to contact the seller!!! No help

Excellent delivery from DHL

I had a very different experience with DHL than a lot of other people judging by the reviews on here. Although my parcel was delivered a little later than expected, the man who delivered it was really lovely. He waited for me to answer the door and voluntarily carried the bulky and heavy parcel into my hall. A very rare occurrence in my experience!

They have almost zero customer service

They have almost zero customer service. When you do reach a human being eventually after runaround, they provide you with inaccurate information! They are also still attempting to charge for the illegal tariffs by sending payment links and threatening to return your packages if you don't pay. I received a payment link this morning. Nearly a week after the US Supreme Court determined that those tariffs were illegal. Why??? Why has DHL not updated its system to not send out that message? When you try to reach them you can barely get a human on the phone or a live agent on their stupid chat feature on their website. They need to do way better. Just because you a huge company does not mean that you get to waste my time and make me talk to machines all day. Get some humans! This company is absolutely horrible.

Goes out on delivery but not delivered

I order regularly from a well known clothing company who use DHL.every delivery i have had from them takes a week from when it gets to my local depot .every day it say out for delivery then its back to the depot. It os clearly a lie as its a delivery ponit not my address and the shop is open.there is way to complain ,the co tact vie message is all Ai.once they even left my parcel in the road becouse they wouldn't walk up the stairs .got to be the worse logistics company in Britton .
