Wish I had looked here first. Have products from Corcikle i bought in america and product is great, ordered another cup, didnt arrive, and no correspondence from them, had to claim credit card. Do not order from website.
TL;DR: Not worth it. Liked their mug at first, but the paint starts coming off even when hand-washed. - Pro: Pretty at first, insulated pretty well- Con: The surface paint starts bubbling up (not scratched) and starts peeling- They delete negative reviews (inflated positive rating)I bought their Pure Taste Mug with ceramic coating for my husband, who wanted an insulated mug. He liked it at first; it kept his coffee warm. I even bought another one for myself, so we had 2. Then the paint started bubbling on the handle a few months in. Then it started peeling. The product was supposed to be dishwasher-safe, but we always hand-washed it. Didn't even use it everyday or more than once a day; never took it out of the house. It just went from the kitchen to the adjacent WFH office. It was gently handled--I'd even say babied. That didn't stop the peeling. For the first mug the company provided a replacement under their 1-year warranty. I recently contacted them about basically the same issue, and now they say it's not covered under the warranty because the damage was "normal wear and tear."I've never had this happen to any of the mugs or bottles I own, even after 5-10 years of use. When the paint starts bubbling (it wasn't even exposed to hot water since it wasn't put in a dishwasher and this is on the outside), that has to do with poor manufacturing, not "normal wear and tear." But the company is no longer standing behind their product.Now all of our mugs have peeled paint. This is not unique to us, because I found another review saying it started peeling within a month. I tried posting a review, but that didn't appear on the site. I started writing this review with 2 stars considering the previous experience of getting a replacement, but deleting negative reviews is a huge pet peeve for me, so I'd now have to say 1 star. Not an honest company.[EDIT: After some back-and-forth (me complaining), they did issue me a gift code. Upping to 2 stars.]
Initially I liked the mug (with the handle). I used it every day for either coffee or tea. The first issue I noticed was that the clear sealant as well as the lid started getting a stain that I just couldn’t clean. Kind of gross. Then the outside finish started to peel. I didn’t want to consume this material, so I finally just threw the cup away. I considered a new one, but since these issues haven’t been resolved based on many reviews, I decided to forget this product.
Ordered over £50 of cups. They did not arrive. Contacted them 3 times over 6 weeks. No reply
Avoid Corkcicle Cups at all costs as they use sketchy plastic for their lids. They plastic is porous and absorbs detergent flavors and is apparently an ideal surface for growing mold. I have two cups that only ever had water in them and they are both ruined by mold-infused lids that will not come clean after multiple attempts.
I ordered a mug and a sports canteen. I never received them and when I contacted customer service, I was told because I didn’t buy their shipping insurance and there was nothing they could do. I paid $89.00 for these products. So they’re willing to lose their customers and receive bad reviews instead of making this right. Shame on them. I will NEVER purchase another Corkcicle product ever again!
They don’t protect your security. I ordered a tumbler and in the emailed receipt was a scam ad with all the information of my order with an added “claim your $25 rebate”- I thought it was legit because the scam had all my personal information and order amount so I clicked on it and was charged $25 and signed up for shipments free “membership “- had to cancel my credit card and replace it. What a mess. I don’t trust Corkcicle. They lost me as a customer.
Abysmal. I regret that Trustpilot made me give a minimum of one star. I spent around $100 for two cups as gifts, and was embarrassed to give them. They were supposed to be Harry Potter themed, but the printing on the outside was such poor quality that you couldn’t even tell what it was. NEVER will I purchase anything from them again.
Don’t waste your money the durability is not what it should be for the money and the customer service is worse. I tried one and gave them the opportunity to make it right they chose not to exchange.
I purchased an attractive 20oz canteen which I’ve used daily for nearly 22 months. I hand wash it and dry it as suggested. Then just recently the plastic lid cracked off at the hinge. I asked for a replacement but was told it was out of warranty. Lid replacement with shipping is $25! I already spent $40 buying the canteen. I thought it was expensive but hoped it was a solid product that would last for years. Sad to learn otherwise. They claim their products are designed for sustainability but something that ends in a landfill after less than 2 years is not ecologically sound. So disappointed.
I ordered 2 cafe cups from Corkcicle. I used the cup a couple times before it was leaking water. I wrote to the company and they said it was designed to allow water to enter between the walls of the cup through a hole in the bottom. The “instructions” say to dry the inside and turn the cup over to allow the water to flow out of the small hole in the bottom. I said I felt this was a design flaw and would like a refund. They flat out said no refund would be made because I had used the product and it was not a manufacturing flaw.Buyer beware this company doesn’t care about making it’s customers satisfied.
I ordered a particular pattern for my daughter's birthday and they sent me a completely different one. I received it too late to change for her birthday. Their response was " we ran out of that pattern, oh well, you can return it". Too late for the birthday present!
Awful online shopping experience with Corkcicle.com. Never received my tumblers. They said I refused a $1.50 tracking opt in. I don’t recall any such option during checkout. And didn’t see this when I tried the site to check. They said file a claim with UPS; well UPS says they use UPS mail innovations (via USPS) so you can’t file a claim. Went back to customer service about not being able to file a claim with UPS as they suggested and they didn’t reply. The tracking is also questionable as it says the package was in Boston and then in Maryland 10 minutes later? And no photo of delivery. They claim it was delivered which now I don’t believe at all. Just want my money back that they outright took. Stay away from this unprofessional brand. Horrid business practice.
I have used nothing but Corkcicle for my go to cup for years. I own five ranging from 24 oz to 40 oz. I recently purchased the 40 oz cruiser in the Belle, Ariel, and Cinderella designs. Ariel and Cinderella have been great. The Belle cup, the lid does not screw on properly with the opening facing either the handle or opposite the handle instead of the sides of the cup where a person would naturally drink from. No matter where I start it from, it always ends up in one of these two positions. The Belle one is the only one I have an issue with. I contacted Corkcicle and they told me it was fine and I could still drink from it, their cup does the same thing so they wouldn't do anything. Then the cup ended up with two small chips on the bottom. It has only been hand washed and never dropped. I love these cups and spend the money on them because I take care of them and before now the quality has been great. I contacted them about the chips and was asked for the size of the cup and if it had been dropped. I told them the 40 oz and no. I was then told the cups don't normally chip unless they have a hard hit so this was not considered a manufacturing defect and would not be covered under warranty. Thank you Corkcicle for calling me and liar.I have five Corkcicle cups. This is the first cup I have ever had any issues with. The cups are great unless you end up with one of the few that does have a quality issue. They will deny an issue and any accountability for the product.
I made an order on May 1st 2025. I hadnt shipped by May 15th. I contacted them and they gave me incorrect tracking info saying the package was delivered. When I go onto their website my order says it is not yet shipped. They refuse to help as I removed a delivery guarantee which is an EXTRA charge on top of the shipping they already charged for the item. Considering they never shipped the item Im very suprised they are not willing to look into this. I've had to open a claim with my credit card for faud at this point.
The canteen itself is great. It keeps things cold for a long time having the little hook lid is wonderful for walking, but if you drop this canister, if it falls over the lid is brittle it shatters or cracks and to get a replacement lid is near impossible I had to buy a second cannister to be able to have another lid within two days that lid busted so it’s a flaw in the design very disappointing.
I’ve bought products from them before and was a loyal customer . Recently I bought a bottle per advertisement and one with completely different cap. They pulled a blatant bate-and-switch number . I bought star wars sport canteen Their bate was beautiful elegant cap design that i liked when i saw it on their website . Their switch was , ugly , awkward looking plastic contraption that did not fit with the canteen at all , and of course it was NOT advertised . 5 emails and a phone call later , when i brought up the obvious discrepancy and pointed out in multiple pictures that bait and switch is actually an illegal tactic , they told me “ We sent you the exact item that was advertised on our website” They have gotten arrogant and dismissive with their customer base . You guys be the judge . Another lost loyal customer . Never using them again .
Accidently put in the wrong address. They can't change my address or cancel my order. Customer service was awful.
Have purchased 4 individual Sports Canteens from this company in the past 12 months. Two of them became unusable within a month of purchase due to poor quality. As others have commented, the customer service, sense of responsibility to the environment, and commitment to the quality of their products is non-existent. Given these water bottles cost more than $100AUD each the quality is astoundingly bad!Here's a couple of experiences I've had in more detail:Example 1: Purchased the 32 ounce size Sports Canteen in Midnight Blue Jan 2024. When it arrived the handle had come off during postage and it took a bit of effort to get back on. The handle continued to come off repeatedly, although this problem was minor compared to what happened next... After I'd washed the bottle a couple of times, the seal inside the Quick Sip Cap started popping off - this was not as easy as the handle to keep putting back on and the bottle no longer closed properly and leaked all over my bag, phone and work documents. The Midnight Blue coating also started to show signs of wear after a couple of washes. Within a month of purchase the bottle was completely unusable. Contacted Corkcicle via their online form for help and my request went into a giant black hole and I never received a reply. Example 2: Bought a Marvel themed Sports Canteen for my son for Christmas in Dec 2024. It also lasted less than a month. The handle kept falling off. It fell off when my son was trying to get it out of his bag last week and the bottle fell a short distance to the floor. The Quick Sip Cap is so poorly designed and the materials are of such poor quality, that it shattered upon impact with our living room floor. Corkcicle now claim that this is not covered by warranty. It will cost more than AUD$60 to buy a replacement Sports Cap!
I hate to leave a bad review as I loved my tumbler. But after about 2 weeks my £40 cup started flaking. There is no care instruction on the cup. Apparently it’s hand wash only! Customer services don’t care. There are better, cheaper and longer lasting products out there!
