COREBRIDGE LOST MY CLAIM PACKET

I sent my husband’s claim packet to Corebridge via FedEx Priority Overnight on February 17, 2026. It was received by Corebridge on February 19, 2026 at 9:22am signed by a D. Davis. The address I sent it to is: Corebridge Financial - Production#2 5575 Venture Dr/Unit D/Dock Door 21 Parma OH. 44130As of today March 5, 2026. Corebridge shows it hasn’t been received even though when it’s tracked it shows delivery on Feb. 18th at 9:22am. Corebridge customer service SUCKS! I need an answer now why it is not in their system. COREBRIDGE LOST MY PACKET!! I NEED ANSWERS NOW!! It’s hard enough dealing with my husband’s sudden death but to have Corebridge mess things up to this extent is criminal.

I spoke to 2 Representatives at this…

I spoke to 2 Representatives at this company, one name was Jaime the other John. Neither representative listened. They only talked and never gave me any information that I needed. They told me to call back to talk to a different manager or representative. They have no customer service skills and rude. I was also told there were no managers available and if I talked to someone else they will tell you the same thing.

Terrible, Time consuming

Terrible, taking over 2 months to do a 403b to IRA rollover. For a reason NO ONE could explain, 95% of the money rolled over immediately, been trying to get the final balance to be rolled over for over a month. Every time I call I am on the phone for an hour and told everything is fine the money will be rolled over in 1-5 business days. Ridiculous, expect a long battle with them to get your money out.

My disabled brother has been requesting…

My disabled brother has been requesting to withdraw his money but they have put up ridiculous obstacles making it impossible for him to even make the formal request. They keep saying they have sent a document for him to complete but it has not arrived after a month of waiting. The people on the phone are patronizing and unhelpful. I would avoid this company cuz they make cashing out a near impossibility.

After being advised I moved they sent…

After being advised I moved they sent my tax documents to the old address. Knowing of their mistake I was never informed and made to wait another two weeks before they sent copies. They sent my ss number to someone else. I'm still not sure if they are on the way.

Never ever ever ever do business with these people. I requested a disbursement from my account in early January, they said they sent a check out regular US mail. Needless to say, it never arrived and could not be tracked. So I asked for a direct deposit into my account. Guess what? Still has not arrived. Just a teacher here,trying to pay for a surgery! It's Feb 20 and still no sign of my money.

Surrendered three different annuities…zero communication!

Surrendered three different annuities via financial advisor and received zero confirmation (email or US mail) from Corebridge. This is very disturbing, as this could’ve been nefarious transactions.The reason I was surrendering the annuities, as they were earning basically nothing and eating up the expenses. How in the world does a corporation operate this way?

I wish there was an option of 0 stars. This pathetic company is basically refusing to let me cash out my policy. They only accept fax, and if there a mistake on your fax, they wait two or three weeks before they let you know. I’m on my fourth fax now, and still they find things in the fax to deny my claim. I seem to refuse my request to close this account. I’m sick of this.

Published my social security number

Not only did my rollover not go through, but the customer service was generally not helpful. Ultimately, they sent me a letter, but the letter had MY FULL SOCIAL on the envelope instead of my name, visible to the public. After two calls and an email they agreed to send me an "apology letter" and not do it again, but no offer of credit monitoring, though I requested credit monitoring several times.

UPDATE. I have talked to MANY customer service…

I have talked to MANY customer service people. (Started January 21, 2026). All have been nice and many helpful. BUT..... I still do not have my payment. Each call they try to tell me a form is not readable. I have resent and verified with the agent on the phone that they have a readable form. I have talked to 2 "managers" and both say they have all they need. I am worried after looking here at so many poor reviews, that today's manager is just another person putting me off. He said 'because it's a holiday weekend' it will be delayed. I begged they complete it today, but he said I would have money by the 19th. As I have been given the same 'give us 5 days' from the last 2 people I talked to, I will be shocked if next week I actually do get my payment. Fingers crossed . Will upgrade/downgrade review if I do/do not actually get paid.I am EXTREMELY happy to say that I did receive my money. I was told by RIO, the last manager I spoke with, that I would get it on Thursday. Well, it cam TUESDAY. Took a lot of calls , but I am thrilled I was successful.

Don't Trust them with your retirement

Don't Trust them with your retirement! I had a retirement account through my previous employer managed by Corebridge. It has taken me 9 months to get them to transfer my money to a new IRA. Delay after delay, doing the same paperwork 3 times, and overall ineptness.

Hell!

Hell!! My 403 b retirement policy was transferred to this company by AIG without any information to me. I got a letter that they can;t reach me at my email what is rare because I have not received anything. I called them and i',m told I have to pay 15%!!! in fees annually while not making any money on the account to maintain the account what is super high. I'm trying to close it and I keep being moved around. It looks like a scam!!

THE WORST customer service!!!

THE WORST customer service!!!! On hold for over 30 minutes to be transferred twice, neither spoke English, neither could assist with the form I have a question about. The lady was rude and hung up on me. I then received a call back and it rang once. GET YOU MONEY OUT AND RUN!!! It should not be this difficult to roll MY MONEY over!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay away from this company!

Stay away from this company!They charged me monthly without my authorization through automatic draft that was established on a previous (expired) policy. And refused to refund the money after I found it out.

Customer Service beyond rudeness!

Corebridge Financial customer service was shockingly rude, dismissive, and openly disrespectful. I expected basic professionalism and got the opposite. Deeply disappointing. My honest recommendation is to close your account, or better yet, do not open one with them at all.

Core bridge is no good

Core bridge is no good. Forty five days for reinstatement is too long await. Just find another life insurance policy that will get you onboard immediately.

I wish I could give them a zero

I wish I could give them a zero. I would not even call the service they present as “CUSTOMER SERVICE”!!! They have outsourced and it just overwhelmingly makes the transactions unbearable! I did not understand how a company’s service could be so bad, until I saw the many reviews confirming the lack of service my husband received!!! Horrible is too kind of a description.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT TAKING CARE OF A LOVED ONE!THIS IS NOT what my mother would want any of her kids to go through to simply collect her dying wish money!She passed 10/13/25. I have submitted all forms CORRECTLY and they sent me over $1,100 LESS than what it was supposed to be, I called to dispute this and they said not to cash the check yet. That they would call me to resolve this and send a new one. It's been 2 weeks, not a singular phone call. Every time I call, they say Ohh, me so sorry, me make you a tickettttt and we call you backkkk" Unprofessional, lazy, dishonest company taking advantage of grieving families. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!
