Clipper - very good service
Clipper is in charge of my payment for more than 2 years now! Started with them in January of '24 and we're now February of '26 and not a single time (fingers crossed) have they done a mistake with my payment! Everything accurate, in good order and on time! For me it worked very well up until now. I've just contacted them, on a Friday afternoon 16:30 (they close at 17:00) on the live chat with a query that was sorted by Bethany in a heartbeat. Needed a yearly statement of earnings which was sent to my email in less than a minute and which have probably saved me a full weekend's afternoon of downloading and preparing a year's worth of payslips!I had another query when I first started with them as I wanted a monthly payment and not weekly one but understandable they said they don't do this as that would probably "eat" from their margin! It's a 5 star service regardless!

Unprofessional, inaccurate and unreliable
I had a terrible experience with Clipper Contracting. First, they sent me a contract with a completely incorrect job title. This is a major compliance risk. When I called to point this out, they promised to correct the error and send an updated contract from a personal business email immediately. I have received absolutely nothing. They are quick to promise things over the phone but fail to deliver any results. If you value accuracy and professional communication, avoid this company. I have now requested my data to be deleted under GDPR.

STILL NOT BEEN PAID
I’m a contractor who’s been working via Clipper Contracting Group, and I’ve now gone into the Easter bank holiday weekend without being paid — because Clipper failed to pay me on time, again. My pay was due on 14th April. Clipper confirmed they received the payment instruction on the 15th, and told me my wages were being “released.” On the 16th, I was told again it was processing, via text etc. But nothing arrived. When I checked my payslip, I discovered the payment was only processed on the 18th (3 days in the future), and via BACS, not Faster Payments — despite their own policy promising faster same-day payment. Because of the bank holidays, this means I won’t see the money until the 23rd or 24th — a 10-day delay. This is the second month in a row my wages have been delayed despite reassurances, and I’ve received no reply to multiple emails asking for urgent help or an advance. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. If you’re a contractor, I strongly recommend you think twice before trusting Clipper with your pay. If you’ve had a similar experience — please speak out. No one should be left like this.
