Highly recommend the Chicken Coop Company. The coop and run are well made and were easy enough to put together with a little help. In addition, the customer service is above and beyond. They respond very quickly. Initially, I had an issue with a missing part for a waterer and immediately a whole new one was sent. I ordered storm panels and something happened with fedex shipping. When I reached out, again they immediately had another sent and it arrived super quickly! Even when I have reached out with general questions, they are happy to give advice. This is a great company!

After extensive research with American made products, I found the Chicken Coop Company and I’m so glad I did. They have been honest with their products and explained that I did not need a larger coop and they also explained that if I’m moving soon, the coop is not recommended to take apart. I will be purchasing my next coop from them. Honesty and integrity goes along way.

I bought a chicken coop from The Chicken Coop Company to replace an old coop that was falling apart. This new coop is FANTASTIC! It has well thought-out features that allow for comfort for the chickens and easy access/cleaning for me. The construction is solid wood and seems like it will be quite durable. All of the hinges and latches are high quality. I would highly recommend a co-op from The Chicken Coop Company!
Excellent quality and customer service. Had a flaw in a part - crack around a natural knot in the wood. Quick replacement was sent. Chickens love the coop and it helped them transition to a new farm safely and comfortably.

Coop is solid and is fairly easy to put together, although I’d set aside 4-6 hours. My teenage boys did it. Happy with the quality and ease of use. Right now I have 3 chickens in the Rhode Island. Will put 6 more in a few weeks.
I had great customer service and they were quick to reply. I ordered a male chick and they got back to me saying it hasn’t been the best year for chicks for them. Which is fine! I completely understand. My 4 other chicks I received are doing great and were healthy upon arrival!

I bought the Rhode Island XL, I knew for price it was going to be less than solid wood. The directions are useless worse than IKEA directions. We were missing parts. The screws you get with coop are galvanized so go buy you some wood screws. And when you screw be careful because wood is so soft it will split. I will be lucky to get 2 years out of this coop due to quality of wood. This coop is inexpensive but you get what you pay for.
We bought the rhode island red XL coop for 1500 and come to find out Home Depot has a nearly identical one for 1200 with much faster shipping options. The coop's overall quality is sub par. The wood splits very easily even with the claimed "pre drilled holes". The pre drilled holes are a little dimple that's cheap and useless because some of them aren't even lined up properly. Assembly wasn't terrible other then the splitting of the materials. 1 year now, there is a lot of weathering on the materials and I know I'll be lucky to get another year out of it. If I could do this again, I would build my own coop.
It starts falling apart within a year, and after two years, it's trash. Even the screws they use are not galvanized, so after a few months, they rust; after 18 months, you will need to replace them. 18 Months after I purchased coop, the roof of the nesting boxes fell apart. I rebuilt it. The ladder the chickens entered fell apart within 18 months. The roof has warped, and the nesting boxes are falling off the coop. Stay clear from this company.
I'm going to tell you that I am completely dissatisfied about purchasing a chicken coop from the chicken coop company. I figured they are located in Utah, I live in Utah, I'll help a small business, but when a small business delivers a product that is not superior, and overprices it, yes, definitely not impressedThe first month was great, but after that, it started to deteriorate, I have loose boards, the screws to the hinges on the windows are not secure, and the metal piece that holds the bar to the door, has been not effective. In addition, the door does not fly as good as it should.Really come up with this comes time to, is, this is not made in America, these coops are made overseas with cheap material, and then piece together being shown that it's made in America. This coop is not American craftsmanship. If I could get my money back, I would take my money back, but now it is a complete loss. In addition, when they say that the XL coupe can't hold 10+ chickens, probably 10+ baby chickens. I would say that all of the coops sold by this company or better for brooding that actually holding chickens.I will never buy from this company again, and I recommend that you do the same.

We absolutely LOVE our coop! We purchased the XL Rhode Island Red coop last fall. With the harsher than normal winter we had, the plastic tray cracked and ultimately failed, but the company went above and beyond by sending us a replacement metal tray! Best customer service ever! We and our flock are very pleased with the quality and care provided and would definitely buy from the Chicken Coop Company again!!
