Color Transferred from Black Dust Bag
I purchased a white bag from Chanel. They gave me a black dust bag. I laid the white bag on top of their black dust bag. In about 6 months, I started noticing that the side of the white bag that is laid against the black dust bag started turning black/discolored. When I brought this up to Chanel, including their local store in Houston and the headquaters, they gave me the run around for months. Very disappointing customer service. I just started collecting Chanel. I purchased about $20,000 of their purses in a 18 month period. After this incident, I don't trust them anymore or any other high end brand.

Customer service is non-existent, I purchased a bottle of Eau de Parfum that upon opening was damaged and completely empty. I submitted a complaint and never received a reply. For a luxury brand, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Won't be rushing back.

Appalling customer service
My bottle of LES BEIGES de CHANEL Foundation BD21, bought from their online site, was faulty. When the pump was depressed lots of the contents also squirted out of base. When I contacted Chanel customer service they asked for photos and proof of purchase, which I supplied immediately. They sent me a reply paid envelope to return it, saying I had to get proof of posting as they would not be responsible if it went astray, but that they would send me a replacement bottle only if they agreed there really was a problem! So I trekked to the post office and sent it off weeks ago. They never contacted me again so I wrote to check it had been received. They said it had been and that they were sending me a replacement. This has still not arrived. Their emails (unsigned, so definitely written by a robot) tell me how committed they are to customer service. What a joke!

General review on Chanel Products
I have been using Chanel products for many years now, I am very surprised on reviews that have been given as my experience has always been a first class service. Customer care are excellent, products excellent - there is nothing that I would say is bad at all.For anyone reading the reviews, please don't be put off by any negative reviews, try for yourself.Thank you Chanel for these lovely amazing products.

Not worth it poor quality high price
I bought coco balme lipstick in love. There are holes in the lipstick and drip lines. Called customer service who said they are aware of the bubbles in the product but not the drip lines. Not interested, told to send back can take 10 days before the consider a refund but if product lost in post then your are responsible. They are selling known defective products at full high price and not informing the consumer.I have loved Chanel’s. Perfumes and make up since th 1990s but will never again purchase the now cheap and ugly products due to their complete disregard for their loyal customers experience. Shame on you Chanel. You have lost my custom after 35 years.

I called their phone support today and the same person who was answering my emails picked up and said the same thing and she never got back to me! Hello?? Chanel, are you serious? I bought Chanel chance eau tendre eauDe parfum after smelling the tester from my local store . When it arrived the parfum has no smell to make the matter worse I bought 150 ml due to liking the tester from the store which still smells on my jacket. I didn’t expect to be writing such a bad review to Chanel such a huge brand but all I can say you just scammers and I hope people realise sooner than later. I have emailed Chanel to which they have not responded. Well I hope you have already scammed enough.

The company claims to be sustainable
The company claims to be sustainable, however I have been using Parfum from them for many of my years. When they introduced the twist and spray refills, I thought yes they have me forever now as a customer, however when you look into buying just the refills on their own in Australia, you can’t. Tried at several international airports the answer is no we don’t stock them. Try on line it’s a no also. I know it’s only a small cylinder but it’s still useful and doesn’t need to be replaced every time, therefore they have to go to land fill. Please help Mother Earth with little things to try and make a difference for years to come 🙏

The scent is lovely
The scent is lovely, but the twist-top cap on the lotion broke almost immediately and wouldn't screw on properly anymore. Very disappointing. Hopefully, this will be improved in future versions.

Prejudice in dutty free of malpensa airport
I’m in dutty free of malpensa airport and we were rudely teeated by the saleswoman of Channel! I was seated while my wife was proving some parfumes of Channel. The saleswoman orderd me to leave the chair supposing we were not going to buy, in a clearly xenophobic and prejudicious act. Shamefull for channel to have salespeople like this woman! I’m a frequent consumer of the brand.

Chanel counterfeit still has fake Chanel bags and accessories online after i informed them twice about the company Hi Dupz from China.They have done nothing to bring down and sue this company and i want to know why not? The bank statements proves otherwise. 30th June 2025 for $97.46.Hi Dupz sells fake designer bags and accessories like Chanel etc. I purchased a fake bag because i couldn't afford the real one and was told to pay with Pay Pal but put for Friends and Family which i did and paid 97.46 NZ dollars on the 30th June to a/c MEADOWDEVINE22 as directed. Here are the dates and emails from HiDupz.30/7/25Could you please check if you have ever made a purchase in our store? I have reviewed our email exchanges with you and found that you haven't bought anything from us.I need to reiterate that we have not deceived you. Chanel Allure mascara Not alluring at all.
Chanel Allure mascara is very dissapointing.It goes on clumpy & leaves lashes looking sparse & spidery.It smudges & after a while flakes off.My lashes look awful when using this mascara.Not good for a premium beauty brand.

Extremely Disappointing Service and Unexplained Order Cancellation
I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I received from Chanel.I placed an order MP1US0079422737 well in advance as a New Year’s gift, only to discover that it was cancelled without any explanation. What makes this situation even worse is that no one from your team contacted me — no email, no phone call, no apology, absolutely nothing.This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially for a brand that positions itself as a symbol of luxury and high standards. Cancelling an order without notice or justification and leaving the customer to find out on their own demonstrates a complete disregard for customer experience.This is, without exaggeration, the worst service I have encountered in a long time, and I am deeply disappointed. Chanel’s reputation suggests excellence, yet my experience was the exact opposite.I expected professionalism, transparency, and respect. Instead, I was left frustrated and let down at an important time of year.I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed accordingly.

I order a bottle of perfume online they charged me for 5 bottles. its now been six days the day before Christmas i still havent received my money back and now i cant finsh buying my daughter Christmas presents because of this. Unbelievable poor customer service. Protracted, lazy, and disappointing. On 24 November I advised Chanel of faulty product. Ie crayon source de Chanel Blond Clair. Many emails later, I am informed the item should be replaced from 16 January 2026 - 9 weeks since my first communication!!! Christmas period and all that…. are you telling me, you cannot expedite more quickly. Too busy coining in massive profits to worry about loyal customers me thinks…..

Using Chanel perfume for over 45 years on top of that not caring when I called that some of the items are different. It was like oh well ! I guess I just grew up in a different time. The amount of money they charge should be enough to be courteous to their customers and try and rectify the the situation The samples were incorrect and the little bag that was supposed to come with it was a dollar store bag. It was cheap ugly, and I barely touched it and it ripped .It was a gift my niece for her birthday but I think I’m going to get fire or something else. Macys .Disgusted and disappointed. Do yourself a favor if you’re gonna buy it, buy it from Macys or one of the other big department stores don’t go straight through Chanel. Customer services incompetent and I do believe my seven year-old Nephew has more manners
