I bout a $1395 men's parka and paid for expedited shipping. The coat came with one of its backpack straps that had been sewn on- twisted. I was leaving on a trip and therefore could not take my coat since it had to be returned. I wanted them to immediately send me a replacement while I returned the other and they wouldn't do it. In fact, I had to file a claim to get my expedited shipping reimbursed!!! Terrible experience. And how does a luxury brand like this have such an obvious quality defect?!?!! I'm not buying another.
I purchased a winter coat from Canada Goose about 2–3 years ago and have already experienced significant insulation loss. The warranty team only addressed the loss of insulation in the sleeves but would not repair the rest of the coat, despite a lifetime warranty. For a premium coat at this price point, insulation failure this early is unacceptable. After a significant amount of back and forth without a satisfactory resolution, I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience.I was asked to send images of the damage to my jacket and was initially told by a customer associate that the repairs were covered. Based on that, I sent my jacket in for inspection. After inspection, I was told I needed to pay approximately £90 for cleaning and repairs before the work could proceed. I paid this amount (including VAT) under the clear understanding that both the wash and the repairs would be carried out.It took nearly a month for my jacket to be returned. When I finally received it back, no repairs had been completed only a basic wash.I have effectively paid close to £100 (plus delivery and time without my jacket) just for it to be cleaned. Only after payment was I told that the repairs were not covered under warranty.Had this been communicated clearly from the beginning, I would have simply asked for my jacket to be returned without proceeding. I would never have agreed to pay that amount just for a wash. The communication throughout this process has been misleading and extremely frustrating. This experience does not reflect the level of service you would expect from a premium brand.Very disappointed.Hi,Thank you for your response.I would like to clarify something regarding the invoice I paid. The invoice clearly stated “Wash and Repair.” Based on this, your team made it seem as though I would be receiving my repaired jacket back in wearable condition. However, the jacket that was returned to me is not reusable given its current condition. This is extremely disappointing, as the wording on the invoice strongly implied that the item would be restored to a functional state. I paid the fee with the expectation that the garment would be properly repaired and returned in usable condition. From a customer perspective, this feels misleading. Additionally, after reviewing other customer experiences, I can see similar concerns raised by others, which suggests that this may not be an isolated incident.I would appreciate a clearer explanation as to why the service was invoiced as “Wash and Repair” if the jacket could not ultimately be restored to a wearable condition. I would also like to know what resolution you are prepared to offer in this situation.I look forward to your response.Kind regards,Sahil
Canada goose reviewed my case an agreed to fix my jacket since one of the snaps fell off. I didn’t want to wait 4 weeks for the repair and incur the expense so I asked them for a snap. They won’t send me a snap!!!!!!!! This feels like I’ve been taken for a lot of money . Of course I will never buy another product from them. One day later, Canada goose told me they wouldn’t repair the jacket under any circumstances or send me the snap. So, they really don’t have a repair or warranty policy at all.
Extremely disappointing and inconsistent customer serviceI am extremely disappointed with how my case was handled. The jacket was only one week old when I sent it in. It was practically brand new. Instead of simply advising me to return it to the retailer under my right of withdrawal, the case turned into a long and confusing process lasting over a month.First, I was told cleaning was not necessary. Then cleaning was suddenly required and I was asked to pay. After escalation, the topic changed to repairs.Later, it was stated that repairs were not covered. Finally, the jacket was sent back. The explanations kept changing, and there was no clear, consistent communication. Because of the long handling time, my withdrawal right expired. I also paid €20 for shipping and additional fees. For a premium brand at this price level, I expected professional, transparent service. Unfortunately, this experience was the opposite.Very disappointing.
Stay away from these thieves! Jacket arrived a month late, still waiting on my refund. They keep asking me to stay patient, call center is in india. The jaclet definately did not feel like almost $2000, I would not be surprised if the product is made there too! Not so “Canada” goose if you ask me.
Canada Goose online store has a free return policy. I bought two winter coats from their online store in November 2025. One coat was perfect but the other did not fit. So I followed the company's return procedure and shipped back the coat through UPS. Tracking information shows that UPS delivered the return package in early January to Canada Goose' facility in Las Vegas. UPS' delivery proof shows the package was received by a Canada Goose employee Karen. However, after a whole month since the company received the returned coat, Canada Goose still did not process my refund (~$1600). I called them multiple times and the last time they told me that they could not find the returned package. In other words, Karen stole the returned coat!!! Canada Goose started an investigation with UPS and blamed UPS for losing the package. Of course UPS blamed Canada Goose for losing the package after it was properly delivered. I gave up and asked my credit card bank (Chase Bank) to deal with the dispute. Chase Bank refunded me the money immediately and asked Canada Goose to explain what happened. After yet another month, Canada Goose finally admitted that someone stole the returned coat from their facility in Las Vegas and approved my refund … nearly two months after they received the return package! Canada Goose is in TOTAL CHAOS! Please don't buy anything from Canada Goose unless you want to experience their total chaos yourself.P.S. You will read the company's reply below, full of lies and misinformation. My first inquiry via text chat was on January 6, a day after the package was delivered by UPS (I've documented the text chat and provided to Chase for their dispute investigation). Since then the company had done nothing to track or inspect the returned package, until I called again on January 20. Every company keeps track of their returned packages and some companies refund their customers the moment the return package enters UPS/FedEx system. Canada Goose clearly tries to dodge responsibilities and blame UPS for their TOTAL CHAOS! Worst of all, they have no intention to take any responsibility or learn from all these terrible cases. What can you expect from such an irresponsible company? As a first-time customer, I'm really sorry that I bought anything from them. It is the WORST of the WORST experience ever!
I bought a top-end coat from their shop at Harrods, London. After wearing 2 times I found broken stitches inside the right hand side pocket. So my mobile phone slipped through the big hole to the back of the coat!!!!!! How embarrassing! Also connecting the zips is challenging as they are very stiff. A third problem Is down coming out! Then comes appalling warranty services. Everything online, I had to deliver and collect through post. A big hassle for customers. Initially they asked me to pay for delivery even though I bought it just 2 weeks ago. And when they agreed to pay for delivery, the prepaid postal label has not arrived even they have promised it should take max 3 days, and they now said at least another 3 days! Still waiting … (PS they may charge min £75 for cleaning (for health and safety reasons) before repairing your coat!!!)
Tough to sayThe questions I have been asked by Neiman’s and twice by CG reps are very confusing and board line upsetting. Like I stole the jacket or something. And the delays returning the jacket that is too small and cut for a woman and not a man is only delaying the return of my money.
Canada Goose does not make good on their warranty. I have a glacial melt white Rossclair coat. It requires dry cleaning only with fluorocarbon. Every dry cleanser I brought it to had an issue with it because the white coats bleed. Canada Goose suggested I go 1&half hours away to a dry cleanser in Boston called Anton’s who in the end outsources their coats to Hudson in my state RI. I brought it to Hudson. They told me they clean with fluorocarbon which is the most gentle solution but these white coats run. He said it’s a defect. My coat ran and he had to clean it about 10 times. He got most of the damage out but there are 10 marks in the coat. I sent photos to Canada goose and they will NOT honor the warranty claiming Hudson isn’t in their list of cleansers nor did they follow the directions. That’s simply a lie. I went to a third dry cleanser in my state who is also extremely reputable. They also have trouble with some of the white coats and the bleeding. They also use fluorocarbons. They also told me it was a manufacturer defect. Canada Goose warranty claims anyone but their cleansers damages the coats if there is damage even though these cleansers outsource to Hudson to clean their CG coats. I want my warranty honored. Period. Nowhere in the verbiage on the warranty does it state you must use their list of cleaners. The FTC says bleeding is a manufacturer defect if the instructions are followed. Hudson is an extremely reputable cleaner and cleans for the cleaners on CG’s so called list. They followed the instructions. 10 times to get the dye out of the white. There are still marks all over the coat. This is a manufacturer defect. Next step is a lawyer. ETA after reply:You keep sending me this same response over and over without providing any evidence how you came to the conclusion that Hudson’s cleaning made the coat bleed. Your canned response of “by the photos it was Hudson who made the coat bleed.” is tiresome since you’ve said it 3 times. All the while you disregard the citations you’ve had from the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute that were filed against you for this SAME reason. You gave the same response. They’ve performed chemical testing on the coats and arrived at the conclusion, the multiple dry cleaners in the cases were NOT at fault and you’re not honoring your warranty. I’m not disappointed at all. You will be disappointed when I bring this to court and you will not only have to honor the warranty, but you’ll be paying the court fees and any other legal fees as well. You waived a cleaning fee??? For what? I had the coat cleaned. You don’t have to clean it. It’s clean. You cannot dry clean this coat with the instructions the tag and the website provides. The coat’s dye bleeds. I can’t bring the coat to any reputable cleaner here because no one will touch it. So when it gets dirty again, it can’t be cleaned. If I bring it to Anton’s, who is on your invisible list to the public, they will send it to Hudson who will refuse to clean the coat. As of now, I have a clean coat with 12 manufacturing defects that you refuse to honorI’m not paying to ship a coat to you, for you to claim it was my dry cleansers fault and then charge me to fix it or not fix it at all. That’s a waste of my money. Waive the shipping fee to you and I’ll send you the coat to examine. I own 3 of your coats and a hat. Im disgusted with your dishonesty. I should have recognized the red flag when my Snow Mantra came without the air activated warmers advertised in the description and in the store. I called and wrote to customer service 3 times for them to send the warmers. They refused. I called the store in Boston and the manager saw the included warmers in the snow mantra at the store and read the online description saying they came with the coat. He sent me the warmers you were supposed to include with my coat.
Left disappointed after making a claim for zipper repair to be told knitted jacket was excluded from warranty after I have being loyal and using this brand since 2016⛔️❌
The craftsmanship is nice but I bought for warmth living in a cold state with below zero temperatures. The coat failed to keep me warm. You can actually feel air going through the coat. I bought the Mystique Parka Tonal Label. If you need a coat for warmth this is not the one. I even sent it back thinking there was a defect. I couldn’t get my money back.
I have been a loyal CG customer for years. I loved the quality of the products. However, I placed an order from the website for the Field Sock. The website stated that the composition of the sock was 47% wool, 47% cashmere and 6% nylon. When I received the socks, the composition was totally different. False advertisement!! The socks I received were 42% polyamide (plastic), 30% wool, 26% cashmere and 2% elastane. I was very disappointed. I immediately contacted them and requested a refund. After a week of me calling daily for an update the only resolution they could offer was to send me a $50 gift card - half the price of the socks. Beware - false advertisement! Update: After weeks of having been notified about the inaccurate website description, and management knowing about the discrepancy, the website has still not been updated. Disappointing.
Faulty zip broke off jacket, hardy worn. Reading warranty conditions you’d expect that to be covered, they are now telling me it is not and refuse to answer why not. All that money on a jacket feels an absolute waste. They now want to charge me to fix their fault. Not the company it used to be, really poor, cannot be trusted
Sent my jacket in for a warranty repair, it was just the Canada goose Disc that was coming away from the upper arm.I registered online with the warranty claim and was instructed to send my jacket (cleaned) to Ontario which cost me $85!The warranty repair was completed and I was informed that my jacket was being sent back to me via UPS and was provided a tracking no'.I was away overseas at work at the time and I logged on to UPS and requested that the package be placed on my front deck. I received a notification of delivery and a picture of the package. The driver simply dropped the package at my front gate in full view of the street. I live out of town on a rural route.I immediately phoned UPS and requested the package be moved to my front deck or collected and taken back to the depot in Calgary. I was given an incident no' by UPS.I did not receive a notification that UPS had either moved or collected the package from the front gate.A week later my daughter arrived home from an overseas trip and the package was nowhere to be found. I again called UPS and was told there was nothing they could do and I was instructed to contact the sender (Canada Goose).I contacted Canada Goose and they said they would file a claim with UPS. 2 weeks passed by and I contacted Canada Goose again and they said there was nothing they could do and I should Contact UPS.I contacted UPS and after a frustrating call I was again instructed to contact Canada Goose, which I did and was again told to contact UPS. This happened a total of six times and with my final conversation with Canada Goose I was told ' The Case is Closed".Basically I am stuck between two large corporations with neither of them taking accountability and I am now down a $900+ jacket!!!!Obviously I cannot comment on the quality of the repair as I have not seen it, maybe if the thief that is enjoying my CG jacket reads this, he / she could leave a review. My advise, do not send your jacket for warranty repair, pay a local seamstress to do it, it would be cheaper than sending the product to Canada Goose and the added risk of never seeing it again!I see that I do not have an option to reply to CG's comment . . . Yes I released the package from UPS on the pretext my delivery instructions were adhered too, they clearly were not!
Canada Goose has very poor customer service. There are few things worse than paying for a luxury item, not receiving it and then having to deal with poor customer service to get a refund for an item you never received. I would expect them to fully own the issue and resolution, but that has not been the case. Based on my experience, I will never shop with them again. They don’t seem to be a reputable brand and I would encourage others to shop with caution.
I WILL NEVER spend another $ with this company. For the amount of money you spend with them, their have 0 regard for the customer. Customer service was horrible. I was sent a used/returned coat as new from an online order. Between their phone support and their inspection house in Nevada, I got 0 help. Took a random dry cleaner i was picking up a suit from to tell me about the warranty program...warranty to fix a "new" coat i purchased. Another shipping cost $100+ x2, repair costs $200+, Me having to call multiple times as their system was stuck on payment required, even though i paid, which prevented the jacket from being repaired in a timely manner, I finally got a" new looking" jacket i was supposed to get BRAND NEW the first time...sort of...Still has a mark on it..To add insult to injury, I sent the coat, original tags attached in the garment bag and box i received it in. It was returned to me in a brown box in bubble wrap. NEVER AGAIN. I was honestly going to get myself a coat from here after my Fiancé got hers, but after this experience I'll skip it.
Ordered in-store in SoHo for a black Macmillian Parka to be delivered to another address, what came in the box was a size small blue hoodie with a Macmillian Parka tag attached to it. Paid 1.3k for something I can't even wear and now I have to go out my way to return for a refund. Would attach a picture if I could
Canada Goose return department made it very difficult or impossible to return a product. They may make up excuses to reject your returns . Be aware.I bought a Christmas present last year and once received, we decided to immediately return it because it didn't fit and my husband didn't like the color. It was never worn other than tried on on Christmas day. I returned the product on Jan 6th and it returned back to me without any explanation. I called to ask and their return department just said the jacket had a pen stain, which seemed a pure excuse. It was never worn and we immediately returned it. If it had a pen stain, it may have been made by their return department. There was no communication/explanation on the return rejection and the excused was received only after I followed up. The fact that the return department may be making up excuses to make it impossible to return products is completely UNACCEPTABLE.
