Terrible customer service
I returned gifts that didn't fit from the Christmas holidays. I paid for them to be returned through the return portal in exchange for a gift card +15%None of that happened. After weeks of emailing them about the whereabouts of my gift card, they finally got back to me to let me know they had issued a refund to both of the original cards. Their return policy is misleading, their clothing is way overpriced and their customer service is below poor.

If outside EU, avoid this shop
Cafeducycliste does not clear customs. So you end up having to pay additional substantial fees for customs (on top of VAT) and also extend delivery time.

Designed for elite cyclists… with no arms
I normally wear M/L in cycling gear. With Café du Cycliste, I have to size up to XXL just to fit my arms — at which point the rest of the garment fits like I’m cosplaying a tent. The arm proportions are truly fascinating. Sleeves so tight they could double as compression therapy, attached to a body so large it could comfortably house a family of four. It’s a bold design choice and I assume the target audience is either:professional cyclists with tree-trunk torsos and toothpick arms, orpeople with no arms at all.The gloves deserve a special mention. They’re a masterpiece of wasted insulation: Primaloft on top, thick sealskin-like material underneath… and then, for reasons known only to the design team, a super thin strip of fabric along the sides that lets all the cold air rush in. The result is a glove that looks warm, feels premium, and functions like it has built-in air conditioning. All that insulation on top and bottom is completely pointless when the cold just strolls in through the sides. But the most impressive and frankly weirdest feature of all?Every product has reviews — yet it’s impossible to leave one.No button. No link. No option. Which raises the obvious question: where are these reviews coming from? Are they written by the same armless cyclists the clothes are designed for? Is there a secret review society? Are they spiritually generated? In summary: beautiful branding, questionable human anatomy assumptions, and a review system that feels more like performance art than e-commerce.Would recommend — if you are shaped like a wind tunnel and hate warm fingers.

Poor Customer Service
Poor Customer Service, even worse deliveries.I’ve paid extra 12 euros for international delivery. Nothing has changed from 5 days with the status - probably item is still in France. The email i’ve sent received automated message saying that the need… 3 days to read it.

Got a little quality issue with my bib
Got a little quality issue with my bib,...happens....Ordered a new one and Customer support repeats within 1 day and gives a full refund to the problemtatic one. This was a fast and very good support. I can't agree with the negative reviews in my case. This case was exemplary. Thanks Cafe du Cycliste and Hugo!Greeting Chris

I can't understand the bad reviews…
I can't understand the bad reviews here. The quality of the products is perfect and looking at other premium brands, the prices are not outrageous. The only thing that could be better is the speed of the customer support. I got defective shoes and to get that sorted out took a while. Only after writing an mail in french did I get an automatic response, that they will need 2-3 days to answer and more importantly, that every new mail from me, would push the whole conversation down to the end of their list again. So I guess it could have been faster if I had just waited a bit longer.

High quality feel of bibs and jerseys
High quality feel of bibs and jerseys. Cant say about durability yet. Outstanding customer support. The jersey size I ordered (L) was too short in the front and had to be returned. All my jersey from different makes are L, but the Constance model did not fit.CdC shipped an XL at no xtra cost even after the sale had ended.

Outrageous delivery costs
For a cycling top that weighs almost nothing, they want to charge £25 for delivery. I’ve almost paid that for an entire bike being shipped before. Feels pretty scummy.

Customer Services at its best
I dont know why there even is bad reviews on this company. The customer service is the best i ever experienced, they answer within decent time but their detail to customer care is above everything. Hugo from Café du Cycliste is an absolute honor to get in contact with. Also the quality is amazing

Excellent quality and service
Excellent customer service in store (Nice) and online. I have found products to be very high quality - in the one instance it wasn’t, the company has been helpful in resolving the issue quickly. Hopefully they will reopen a London store at some point in the future.

Love their kit
Always find their gear fits true to size and well made. Sleeve lengths can vary but its not a deal breaker. Its also a bit different to the usual brands. Their winter jerseys are not fit for UK or Irish winters. Given the prices of this kit, charging €12 for postage is a bit rich.

Great service
I've bought a few items previously and all been high quality and good fit. I bought a pair of bib shorts in recent sale and noticed leg grippers not holding. Got in touch with Cafe du Cycliste who sent new pair, no questions asked. It's expensive kit but customer service was fantastic and for me in keeping with the quality nature of the brand.

If in U.S., Don't Bother - Company Didn't Give Info. to Clear Customs
I ordered a substantial amount of kit, which never made it past U.S. Customs and is now on its way back to France. Cafe du Cycliste didn't provide information required by DHL to get through Customs and after three attempts over three days to get this information from Cafe du Cycliste (who still haven't responded or even acknowledged my e-mail) and DHL threatening to charge a storage fee, DHL initiated a return. Worst experience I've ever had ordering from overseas.

Never buy from this company!
Ordered $1,678 worth of clothing from California. Want to return half of it due to fit. There was no charge for shipping on original order. They told me to ship back to them in France. Fedex wanted me to pay $250 to do that. Then got bill for receiving the product for $481.56! Am trying to get Fedex to redirect the bill but not holding much hope.Their customer service appears to be non-existent. Why they sell to US market without a means of returns is dumb founding.

High quality garments and unique…
High quality garments and unique designs. Makes me want to ride!Sizing is inconsistent between styles so it is kind of hit or miss on fitting. This is very important for high performance cycling kit so a bit frustrating. Also, very EXPENSIVE for a D2C brand.I purchase a lot of gear from Velocio and their sizing is very consistent across their line. The biggest issue (for me in the States) is that customer service is very, very slow. Returns/exchanges are difficult and costly so the whole order/purchase process is very lengthy. I wish they had a showroom in the States so I could try things on. I really like their gear but inconsistent sizing and the hassle of exchanging items is not worth it.

I don’t normally write reviews but had…
I don’t normally write reviews but had to given the one stars on here.I had a quibble about the shrinkage on my jersey, and was helped very responsibly by email and was sent a replacement. The quality of the kit is also first class. I have bib shorts from cdc that are years old and still more comfortable and look better than new ones from other brands.

Bad quality and horrible customer…
Bad quality and horrible customer service. Bought a shirt in a store in Vienna and noticed that a seam was not correctly stitched after unpacking. After contacting Café du Cycliste directly, they wouldn't want to take any responsibility and told me I would have to deal with the store, where I bought the shirt. Also the store (Veletage, Vienna) wouldn't want to help me with my problem and would make me pay for any shipping of a defect product that I bought full price. Unacceptable service and quality!
