Left in the Middle of Nowhere With a Child – Unacceptable
I have used taxi services all over the world, and I have never experienced anything as bad as this.Today in Alicante, I ordered a Cabify while we were in a park, far from the city center. I was traveling with my four-year-old child. There was no option in the app to add a note or indicate that I was with a child.The driver arrived and immediately refused to take us because I had my child with me. Instead of helping or explaining properly, he acted annoyed and said it was my responsibility to notify them. When I asked how I was supposed to do that if there was no option in the app, he responded: “That’s not my business. Go find your way.”He then left us there.Being left in the middle of nowhere with a young child is unacceptable and unsafe. This is not just bad service — this is irresponsible and unprofessional behavior.I strongly advise families to think twice before using this company in Alicante.

70% of the time it works. But too often I have waited 10 minutes and then the driver cancelled the job. They need to run a tighter ship. May as well take public transport if you are left sitting around for 20 minutes waiting

Awful service. I reserved a taxi on Friday night for a pickup the following Monday morning to the airport in Seville. The app said a driver would be assigned. On Saturday the driver was assigned so I thought all was sorted and nothing to worry about. Then I got up Monday morning and looked and no driver assigned. Then a few minutes before 7:30am (the time I had booked for) it popped up saying a driver would arrive at 8:05. The time kept getting later, 8:06, 8:07 ... so I cancelled and went for Uber who arrived within 20 min at 7:50. Ridiculous, causing stress when trying to catch a flight!

I was contacted to arrange for a driver to pick me up at a convenient location, but he never arrived, and I never received a refund of my prepaid money. Honestly, it's the worst service I've ever received, especially as a tourist. It's terrible, I will never use it again in Malaga

Can’t trust their service - Nearly missed my flight due to lack of professionalism
I had a Cabify ride scheduled in advance to get to the airport at 7:30am. At 7:25, the app suddenly showed that the driver would arrive in 25 minutes. No warning, no explanation, no viable alternative.This kind of last-minute failure is not a “small delay.” When you book an airport ride, timing is the entire point. I nearly missed my flight because Cabify could not deliver on a reservation they had already confirmed.I’ve used Uber and Bolt many times in similar situations and they’ve never failed me when it mattered. After this experience, I’ll be sticking with them for time-critical trips.If you need reliability for anything important, especially airport transfers, Cabify is not a service you can trust.

Charged without requesting a ride
I was using the App to review different options now that my car is being repaired. A driver called me five minutes later that she waiting for me in the street. I informed her that I never requested a ride. Thirty minutes later I was charged a small amount for a ride I never ordered. Subsequently chatting with Cabify they just insisted in me having ordered the ride. So, careful when using the Cabify App!

It was always amazing my ride with Cabify until yesterday saturday, 20th, 2025.But, yesterday the car was broken and old. Dangerous to the drive to the airport. It wasn't working well. It needs more than fix the engine. And the driver Willian didn't help with my luggage. Pay had to be 145 soles, but at least I paid 175 soles. I am really angry with this situation (I wish, I took confort)

Dangerous and worst customer experience ever
I had a driver that didn’t wanted to drive me because of my luggages. When I explain how we can fit my luggage he started shouting at me and insulted me. He left to my place without me to make me pay. When I contacted the support they don’t give a **** about it and said that I wasn’t at the meeting point (which was wrong because I can prove it by picture that I fortunatly took !) . Let’s all use Uber or other taxis !

Mixed experiences
We have used this service a lot over 3-5 days but there have been positive and very bad experiences. Positive - most of the fares were straight forward and got to our destination on time, very quick for picking upMost drivers could speak english so was good for communication.However we did have a very bad experience of one journey in particular.We got picked up as usual to go out on a Saturday night and was looking forward to the night ahead, we started our journey as normal and the driver started to go the wrong way and went back on himself for some reason I don’t know why. We then started to go down some very narrow alleyways ( which we know they do in Barcelona) but there was one particular narrow road where we approached and before he went down there, I said to himIn English ‘it’s very tight down there, we can get out and walk a few minutes to our destination’ however the driver couldn’t understand English, I even gave hand gestures to try and communicate what I was saying. He continued down this very narrow alleyway and at the end he couldn’t go right or left, therefore he had to reverse out of the alleyway with pedestrians probably saying in Spanish ‘what are you doing’ he continued reversing and hit a pedestrians hand on the wing mirror. The pedestrian then got his phone out and i assume took a picture of his number plate and then I assumed he called the police because he was talking on the phone. All whilst the driver did not stop to make sure the person was ok and carried on reversing out of the alleyway whilst passengers in the back becoming anxious. As soon as we got out of the alleyway, me and my partner got out of the car and finished by walking on foot.This incident could of easily been avoided if the driver could understand basic English and had realised he couldn’t go down that alleyway.

BEWARE! I should have read prior reviews before attempting to use Cabify. An immediate ride was requested in Barcelona, utilizing the app. I couldn't find the car, and the base charge began increasing at 5 minutes. After a while, I gave up, and the ride was cancelled, but I was charged over $14 USD for nothing. What a rip-off.

Completely unusable for international travelersI attempted to register with this app during my trip to Spain, but it’s impossible to create an account with non-Spanish phone numbers. I tried two different international numbers (including one from an EU country), but the verification SMS never arrives.This appears to be systematic discrimination against international customers. After searching online, I discovered this is a widespread reported issue affecting travelers from multiple countries.Customer support is non-existent - I contacted them multiple times about this registration problem and received zero response. They simply ignore international users completely.It’s clear Cabify doesn’t want international customers. Meanwhile, competitors like Uber, FreeNow, and Bolt work flawlessly for travelers.Save your time - use alternative services that actually welcome international users instead of creating artificial barriers.Issues:• Cannot register with international phone numbers• No SMS verification codes sent outside Spain• Customer support completely ignores inquiries• Discriminatory practices against tourists• Competitors work perfectly with same phone numbersRecommendation: Use Uber, Bolt, or FreeNow instead.

Horrible customer service and unfair fees
Tried to change my payment method twice. Failed due to a badly designed app. Their UI cost me 5 euros in cancelation fees despite being clear what my intention was and despite having hired the same driver for the same destination right afterwards. Customer support refused to help afterwards.

Their drivers always wait away from you someplace and starts the so called free 2 minute wait that runs into a 7-8 minute wait which will cost as much as your ride. You end up paying for more rides then you ever take. Waste time endlessly and be nothing but aggravated.
