Very frustrating experience.

Very frustrating experience.I received multiple automated notifications stating my order had shipped and even included an estimated delivery date. However, after contacting both customer service and the shipping company when my package did not arrive, I learned the carrier had not even received the package. This means the order had not actually shipped despite the notifications sent.When I requested to cancel due to the delay and inaccurate information, I was told cancellation was not possible. Being charged immediately while the package had not been handed to the carrier is extremely frustrating and feels misleading.Customer service was polite, but the company’s communication and fulfillment process need significant improvement. If delays occur — especially weather-related — customers should receive accurate updates instead of premature shipping confirmations.I am currently waiting for management to follow up and resolve this situation.

They charged me for express shipping…

They charged me for express shipping (2-4) days but I recieved the products 8 days later. According to them thems very reasonable and within the time window I paid for.

They won't stop spamming me despite multiple requests to stop

They told me they do not take Venmo, despite having a Venmo button on their payment page. I sent screenshots to two different people in support of the contents of my cart and the Venmo button on their website at their request. Multiple people at their company (or bots) are now relentlessly spamming me texts asking me to send those screenshots again. I have asked them to stop and they will not. Finally had to block and report as spam to get it to stop. This company is incompetent and they don't respect your data. Avoid them. Similar products are available elsewhere.

Bath Mat edges curled up

My issue is with the quality of the bathmats. They were fairly expensive. The edges are fragile and curled up terribly after one wash. I actually had to iron them. They also have loose threads after one wash.

This company seems to be pretty shady

This company seems to be pretty shady. I placed an order and didn’t hear anything for 5 days. When I inquired as to what the status was, I received an unprofessional email that flagged something was up. I then looked at their reviews and immediately disputed the charge with Amex so I don’t have to depend on them. Something is way off and all trust with this brand is lost.

LITERALLY A RIP OFF

For something that was advertised to be three days to receive they haven’t even shipped it yet after THREE WEEKS. They do not keep you updated THEY RIP YOU OFF!!

I went to Brooklinen UTC in La Jolla,Purchased pillows and pillow covers.I was greeted by Brianna with a smile and warm welcome. From start to finish the customer service was phenomenal!! Brooklinen Luxe Sateen is Simply the Best

Brooklinen luxe sateen sheets and Turkish bath sheets are far superior to any bedding I have owned. They are super soft. Great deep pockets for thick mattresses. They are long wearing, getting softer with each wash. I have tired Boll and Branch, Ralph Lauren and many other top tier brands. Brooklinen is hands down the superior product. Customer service is great at resolving any errors in shipping due to my error. Love them.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE - This company seems to somehow get it's name mentioned at the top of every "best bedsheets" and "Best bath towels" list, but their practices as sketchy af. They'll promise you 20% off if you just give them your email and phone number, only to send you an email welcoming you to "the family" and a link to their website for the same 15% off they routinely 'offer' everyone. There appear to be hundreds of these same types of complaints online about this company as well as the complaints about the quality of their product. They seem to be one of the growing number of online-only companies who make money by volume and realize that all the complaints and dishonesty in the world isn't going to get them in trouble. Eventually however, they WILL get the attention of an attorney general's office somewhere. I can't wait till that happens.

Quality is nice, Shipping can take WEEKS!

Quality is nice, I like the sateen sheets. We've been buying from them for almost 10 years.The unfortunate part is their shipping is really hit-or-miss. I've received pillow cases in 2 days! AND then waited 2 WEEKS to get sheet sets. I've seen orders languish for almost 5 business days before they even get around to shipping it -- no wonder it takes so long.

product does not resemble the image on site

I do not recommend this company. I spent $500 ordering a duvet cover, matching pillow cases and a bed blanket. The duvet cover and pillowcases were pictured and described as this beautiful coral (orange/peach) color floral block print. I was so disappointed when they arrived because they are brown. No different interpretation could be made, but a brown floral block print on a mostly cream background. and the block print is not nearly as nice looking as it is depicted either. I didn't even open the package. Returning things is incredibly difficult for me being disabled and in a rural area. What a hassle! But what really got me... I wrote a review of the item on their site and it is so buried, I can't even find it. Their onsite reviews are configured in a way that only highlights positive reviews. You cannot even sort it to show by most recent. That is not a company that stands by the quality of their products. Not only can I not trust I will receive an item that resembles what I think I am buying, but I cannot trust the company to be upfront about what people are saying about their products. And from reading reviews on this site... looks like I will be charged a re-stocking fee for returning the item. They certainly didn't tell me that when I was requesting a return shipping label.

Misleading discount system — be careful how you shop

I discovered that Brooklinen shows different prices depending on whether you're logged in or not. I saw a sheet set listed at $106 as a guest (with the 15% first-order discount auto-applied), but when I logged into my account (and hadn’t purchased before), the same item showed up at $125 — and the 15% discount had to be manually applied, if you even realize that.So while they technically offer the discount, it's only effective if you catch the higher price and reapply the code yourself. Otherwise, you just overpay.I reported this to the FTC because this kind of price manipulation is misleading. If you're shopping here, make sure to check incognito and compare prices before buying. Loyal or logged-in users shouldn’t be punished with higher prices.

Sheets are fine. Cusomer service is awful!

I ordered the Core Percale set for my mother’s birthday. Brooklinen sent the wrong set. My mother reached out to try to swap the sheets. Brooklinen made everything my problem. We had to ship them back (they did give us a label) and wait for Brooklinen to receive them, which took about a week. Then I got an email that they needed four days to process the returned item and I would receive a refund, minus a $10.00 restocking fee. Four days later I got another email stating that my refund was processing and that it could take 3-5 days for me to see the money in my account. I finally got the money back, again, minus a $10.00 restocking fee. We had been given a discount code to replace the sheets, that we ordered correctly the first time on sale, with the same sheets we ordered. Now they weren’t on sale, but not to worry, we would have a discount code to get the price back to the sale price. Unfortunately, the return shipping and refund process took so long that the code expired. We had to call to get a new code and to have the $10.00 restocking fee credited to the order. All told, my mother’s gift that I ordered correctly took three weeks and three phone calls to get right. She likes the sheets. I will never order from Brooklinen again. Horrible customer service and a terrible response to their mistake.

I have only ever had positive…

I have only ever had positive experiences with brooklinen and love their linen sheets. I bought one for my original queen bed then bought ones for my king bed and also got some as gifts. Highly recommend, great customer service!

Worst linen sheets

Worst linen sheets. Ever. If you like sleeping on sandpaper, look no further. CS was attentive, but not the outcome I hoped for . I missed the deadline to rerun by 2 months. I found them in the linen closet after storing them upon disastrously purchasing. They offered me a 25% discount. Sure... just what I want. More sandpaper !
