Avoid, Racist and rude about their Customers

Avoid, overheard the staff swearing and using racist slurs about customers in the background while on a call. They weren’t even quiet about it! Gone elsewhere. They have no customer service, waited days for a callback and was spoken to rudely by person on the phone plus what I heard as stated above. Understanding why they have so many negative reviews now.

Total Sham

Ok Brightwater has had no reviews so I thought I would be the first. I do believe there should be a no star policy. Now I am very truthful in all my reviews & it is my personal experience with the company & TBH it’s been a total sham. As a small sole trading business owner I am sorry to admit this but it is impossible to monitor what these corrupt utility companies are doing behind the scenes. Once again another greedy multimillion pound business taking whatever they like from the small business changing the details on contracts without any explanation, charging you for a meter that isn’t even supplying your premises it’s supplying two other premises. This company has took whatever DD they have conjured up with no thought for the contract that they took over from Bluewater DD is meant to be £46 per month oh no they have took over a £100 on DD without even an invoice. Invoices have been blank, email attachments blank when you ask for them to resend ones that aren’t blank there are so called charges so read the small print. They then took 8 months payments 2 full months in advance “is this even legal” I may not be a customer in 4 weeks so how do I get my over payment back start another dispute. They ignore you when you request an escalation to a complaint, the credit that is in your account they pilfer more pounds out of it then send you an email at 2.15 to update you that their sticky fingers need more cash from your credit. On their website it states committed to helping Scottish companies well sorry they haven’t helped my Scottish company they have been a major failure & the only company they helped was their own. They ignored my concerns from February to May they even took further DD in May knowing the meter was not supplying my business. I am now sitting out of contract no idea when DD will be taken or at what cost. They have now taken payments up until the 31st December they took two full payments within 5 days this in itself is a major worry for me as they can do what they want & I have no power what they take or how much for. It is a shameful way to treat any small business. They have had an adverse effect on my business over the past 8 months. Very slow at updating details but quick at grabbing the cash so be cautious. I requested update on tariffs & DD details on Wednesday 8th November & still don’t have them.
