I received a Bambino coffee machine for…

I received a Bambino coffee machine for my birthday. I had some difficulty putting the portafilter in place and phoned customer service. They were very helpful. My husband found some food grade silicone grease and used a smidgeon on the lip of the portafilter. I also had to slightly reduce the amount of coffee in the filter so that it was not as high in the portafilter. From that point it was easy to put in place, worked very well and I am having fun with it. A great product with wonderful customer support. READ the manual and watch the youtube videos.

Poor Customer Service

We initially contacted Breville in December 2025 due to issues with the steam wand continually plugging on our Barista Touch Espresso Machine. Everything else worked just fine. We performed all of the procedures they suggested we do to correct the problem. We did that and it still did not help. They said to send the unit in to their service department to diagnose what the repairs were needed. In February they contacted us and indicated there was a seal that needed to be replaced. When we got the machine back on February 20, 2026 we discovered it was completely unusable. Steam wand did not work at all, water was leaking and running from the group head, water was leaking under the machine and when trying to brew the GFI outlet circuit breakers would trip off. We have contacted Breville support 3 times by phone and several times by email and we are not getting any resolution. Customer Service has been terrible. We now have a machine that is not very old that is unusable. Very Disappointed. They need to have a better system for customers to actually get in contact with them instead of always leaving a phone number to be called back when a representative is available. Sometimes it is several days or not at all to get a call back.

may take two calls

I made a first called and was not to satisfied with the answer I got. Thought about it and made a second call and actually did a video call with the person and finally had a solution with my breville that I had just purchase a month ago. The heating element was not heating up properly. my problem was resolved

They keep running me through the same…

They keep running me through the same thing over and over, its been ongoing for over 6 months and my espresso maching still doesn't work. They don't call back when they say they will, and have not listened to what my problem acutally is. It has been a terrible customer service experience.

The team member we engaged with was very helpful and understood what our problem was and quickly ordered replacement parts. The unfortunate part is the new part is starting to loosen and will not say tightly in place . What is frustrating about this is this is a high end coffee maker and the quality falls short of expectations.

Amazing customer service

I had the pleasure of calling the customer service line as my espresso machine was no longer achieving needed pressure. Cecilia created a video call and walked me through a number of steps which allowed her to understand and resolve the issue I was having with my machine. Absolutely amazing service!

Stubborn Customer Care and Technical support.

I previously reviewed a Breville Precision Thermal Brewer and gave it 5 stars for taste and quality of the brew. I am updating a new review after spending hours arguing over phone, chat and email with offshore call center personnel about the Thermal Carafe which dribbled out coffee, not poured. I did everything the agents said- to no avail. Finally, I just asked for a new lid, which they were out of, so finally they shipped a new Carafe, which works perfectly. So, bottom line is still a 5 star product but 3-4 star support for ALL the time spend fighting to get the issue fixed.

No one offer help

No one offer help, issue still not resolved. Made phone call no one answer and follow up. Breville customer service is awful! And the machine is garbage.Since descaling my coffee machine, it has not functioned properly.I have been seeking support for nearly five months, yet no one has been able to provide clear guidance or an effective solution.Each time I contact support, I am required to repeat the same information and explain the situation all over again. It is extremely difficult to even reach someone. Meanwhile, the machine has remained unusable.It is deeply disappointing that a company of this scale operates with such an inefficient and unresponsive customer service system.

Worst service and product

Worst service and product. Grinder broke in 2 months. Customer support does not provide a new replacement unit and instead they will waste your time first and then after months of followup will give you someone’s used return unit.

My Breville Precision Pro brewer leaked…

My Breville Precision Pro brewer leaked coffee all over my counter multiple times. In my numerous interactions with the support team, I was told to:1) Set the lid to the locked position, which doesn't exist. Correct answer is set to pour, which is what i was doing.2) Told I needed to buy a new brewer to replace my <60 day old unit. I don't think so.3) told to clean the lid--didn't help4) finally they agreed to send a new carafe. After not receiving it, I followed up again and they finally sent it.5) new one is working so far. Best I can tell for Reddit, the problem is a sticking flap in the lid., Some have suggested cutting a notch in it. I didn't do that but did put a tiny bit of food grade lubricant on it. So far, so goodOverall, Breville support people appear to know little about their product. Very poor for a supposed high end company

Breville has been awful

Breville has been awful, 800 dollar coffee machine, they tried charging me 300 dollars to fix, they came down to 250,got it back and the machine is still broken. It’s like they didn’t even test it, plus the machine was all soaked when we got it back. Customer service is horrible to get ahold of, would not buy another one.

Terrible customer service and runarounds

Had a missing portafilter in the original box and they were out of that model in stock. They making me work so much for one portafilter. They could have sent a replacement or naked portafilter of the same size or something.I threw the box away when I bought it because I wasn’t planning on returning it but so much hassle for one missing portafilter.

Breville's Double Toaster Fails After a Year and They Won't Let You Post a Review About It

I bought Breville's double toaster a year and a half ago. The inner heating elements broke and now in order to toast, I have to toast items twice. Also, the bagel function does not work anymore. I contacted customer service about this issue and because I am out of warranty, they could not offer me a resolution except to give me a coupon. I did not want a coupon to buy another toaster as I felt that for $250, the toaster should last much longer than a year and a half. I felt they had a product defect with the toaster for the heating elements to fail that quickly. I told Breville that I would write a review regarding the toaster to make people aware of my experience. Breville keeps rejecting my reviews. My reviews basically state the facts of what has happened to the toaster and I even provide a photo of the heating elements not working. Breville appears to be controlling my freedom of speech by not allowing me to communicate what happened to the toaster. I am surprised that that they would limit my speech and force me to not communicate what happened with their product. This speaks to what their company is about and I will not be buying any more of their products.
