After I bought Pigeons on birdtrader that turned out to be really old and not the variety I even ordered . I complained to bird trader who did not even reply to my complaint .Be careful people and go buy from a breeder direct .You hold out cash and these scammers are laughing at you .My first dib into pigeon keeping and I got scammed. I have reported the issue to citizens advice and where they were bought from. Rather shocked how birdtrader seems to have no policies in place to stop this behaviour from going on. Anyone can go on and off this site with fake names and Bank accounts . You need to pull your socks up Birdtrader and get some policies in place to stamp this behaviour out and protect your users as this kind of behaviour is killing off the sincerity from other genuine sellers on your site and sadly for buyers like me .Painting everyone now with the same brush. Never again!!!

The owners of the Bird trader site are scammers as well. I used to flag up obvious scams & ones i had checked out. One crook lived in flats in Cheshunt & was a known scammer. The owners got fed up with me when i said they have no interest in protecting buyers & they blocked me!!. Be very careful!!!

1 star is far too good, scammed by a seller for 2 harris hawks, paid a deposit, then paid carriage charges to bve told one of the birds fell sick and delivery was on hold untill vet fees were paidnames to be aware ofsophia peksophia maharrandy kwenticollin wand a fake carriage mail me for details as i cant post it here

Please please please don't buy a bird from bird trademany scammers are making people fool on this web.i paid £350 for a bird and then received an email asking more £650 for insurance for bet which i refused to pay.when i ask for help to bird trader they said they do not have any kind of information for seller.bird Traders just allow any one to come and advert they do not have any checks on place please avoid bird trade.

Sold me an older deformed bird & said he was a baby
I was promised a perfect baby parrotlet, I got an older, deformed, terrified bird. Almost half of his lower beak is malformed & he has a half missing middle claw, no mention of this in the ad. Horrible shop with no care for their birds. I gave one star only because I absolutely love my Captain Jack Sparrow & still would have bought him to get him out of that disgraceful shop!

Please don't buy a bird from this site, iv been scammed of £400 the seller knows how he tricks innocent people. My son saved his pocket money for months to buy a bird, the seller knew this. He sent me fake deliver couriers details and than asked for another £700 when refused he disappeared. My son and myself are extremely upset and hurt by this evil human being. Not all will be like him but the trust goes away because of seller's like this one. Be very carefull Hopefully this Evil seller who's whole profile number etc was fake will be conned in life too i hope he never feels peace in his life. God is watching you your a gutless B*****d ripping innocent kids/people of there money.

Don’t buy off Bird trader website because the ads on there are not Vetted I have just been scammed where the seller takes your deposit and then disappears I don’t want this to happen to anybody else

Sold a bird they said it was approx 14 weeks old since I've spoken to another breeder who told me it was a lot older than I was told avoid at all costs all he's interested in is people money .

Not open during advertised times. Website/Media and even shop front signs said open. Phoned the number on the door stating "on a break, call" given excuses and told to come back another day. Highly unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend at all.

I Was After 2 Hand Tame Parrotlets & They Had Advert For Them So Ordered & Paid For Them To Be Delivered.I Did Ask For Photos Of Them Great, When Birds Delivered Put Them In The Cage To Settle In. Following Day Went To Feed Them & Put Hand In Slowly Into Cage & Bird Were Freightened By My Hand, Spoke To Birds4Home & Told Him I Did Not Think They Were Hand Tame & Different To The Photos He Sent Of Them Sitting On His Hand.He Said Give Them Week To Settle In But They Still Did Not Like You Going Near Them.He Said I Could Send Them Back But I Would Have To Pay Return Cost & He Woulld Refund The Cost Of The Bird & That Ment I Was £90 Out Of Pocket. So Was Going To Take Him To Small Cliams Court. Yesterday The Female Was Not Well & Did Get Her To Drink Some Water & Same To Day. By The Time I Finished My Lunch The Malle Was calling His Head Off & When I Looked The Female Had Died, So Now Can Not Take Him To Court..
