Tyler is a great founder and leader, and he does a great job building a proper team to operate this platform. I’d recommend Beehiiv to anyone looking to start a newsletter.

beehiiv is the best newsletter platform on the market. I constantly recommend it to others because they listen to their users and are really tapped into their needs right now. Though it's new compared to platforms like Kit or Substack, its evolution and new features continue to impress me. If you're looking to build a media business, beehiiv should be your first and only choice.
I subscribed to beehiiv's Scale plan at $169/month. Without any warning, explanation, or prior notice, my account was deactivated — yet beehiiv continued charging me $169 every month regardless.When I tried to cancel the subscription, I discovered there is no cancellation button anywhere in the account settings. The option simply does not exist. I am being charged for a service I cannot access and cannot cancel.Their support was completely unhelpful and provided no resolution. This is a deliberate dark pattern — they deactivate your account while keeping the billing running, and make cancellation impossible by design.As an EU customer, this violates:EU Directive 2011/83/EU — the right to cancel digital subscriptionsEU Directive 2005/29/EC — hiding a cancel button is an illegal unfair commercial practiceBasic consumer rights — charging for a deactivated, inaccessible account is fraudI have been forced to file a PayPal dispute, report them to Stripe as a fraudulent merchant, and escalate to EU consumer protection authorities just to stop being charged.This is not a platform — it is a billing trap. They take your money, deactivate your account, and make it impossible to leave. Zero stars if I could.
Incredible customer service - 0% commission on earnings. The best newsletter software for creators, the team is always super fast with support tickets and the opportunities through the AdNetwork are very valuable if you are just starting out your newsletter and trying to monetise. Couldn't recommend more.

Just a first class outfit. They've made everything easier. We're a dev shop and fully versed on AI builds and there is just no way to grow your own and match the product they have created. From deliverability to a built in ad network and and api that allows for customizations galore, it's exactly what we were looking for. Side Note: I did the dumbest thing ever and deleted our entire workspace while attempting to remove a single newsletter from our account. I hit up Jake on slack and he had us back up and running in less than 30 minutes.. most of that 30 minutes was me panicking trying to figure out who to contact.
Do not waste your time and money. I am glad I did not sign up for the paid version. They just decided to lock down my account, with zero help from the customer support to reopen it. It looks like a scam.

I've had a great experience sending my newsletter using beehiiv. The platform is easy to use and navigate, there are always new features being added, and the new website builder is awesome. Even with improvements and new features being added, it doesn't feel overwhelming or like I'll need to learn something new because the help articles in the knowledge base give me all the information I need, and the support team is always ready to answer any questions I have.If you're looking for a solution to send your newsletter, I'd recommend beehiiv over any other.
When I first started on beehiiv, I thought I was going to write a newsletter about parenthood. Then realized I know nothing about it, and decided to pivot to music. Changing my title, my design, basically everything, was super easy. Instead of wanting to change things but it being too hard, I actually did it and now my publication is better, my subscribers are growing, and I'm thrilled. What really stood out was all the options that made changing not just easy, but intuitive. I was able to get up and running in no time, without all the headaches I was expecting.

Their customer support is fantastic, and they ship new features faster than any other software product I've ever seen. I've literally paid for hundreds at this point.
Started a newsletter/website about food history on beehiiv - very easy to get started on the free tier. Also nice to have multiple monetization options like ads and paid subs, though I'm still on the free plan trying to grow. Highly recommend!
I've been sending my newsletter The Daily Dad Joke through beehiiv for over a year now. It's been a great platform and they're always adding new things. It was super easy to set up my domain and start sending. Also the websites look great, even without me doing much of anything.
With beehiiv, I'm able to easily monetize my newsletter, and turn around and invest those earnings right back into growing my audience through their boost feature. Plus I've never met a faster, more thoughtful support team in the wild! I always know I'm in good hands if I run into an issue (which doesn't happen often, thankfully). In previous roles, I've used a few newsletter and email tools. Primarily Mailchimp, Flodesk, and Customer.io. For an editorial newsletter especially, beehiiv blows them out of the water. Mailchimp and Flodesk don't compare. Customer.io is a great tool, to be fair, just not for editorial newsletters.I immediately took to the Notion-style editor (I'd already spent a couple years doing all my writing in Notion, feels unnatural writing in Google Docs nowadays). Analytics are great. Best email newsletter tool I've used to date.
