My husband bought a bike for me for the…

My husband bought a bike for me for the Holidays, and I have yet to receive it. They are a SCAM! I want my $$$$$$$$$ back. I will be contacting the BBB & the Federal Authorities! U should be a shamed DAM U ALL for taking advantage of working people. Karma is a not a good thing. Sit tight it is coming your way!

Do not buy from Beachbikes

Do not buy from Beachbikes. They will take your money but not fullfill your order. The company email inbox is full and will not accept emails. Their phones do not work!

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. My wife ordered a bike from this site. They accepted our $700 order. I had to call three weeks later to learn that the order was cancelled. It is now two months later and I am still battling for my refund.

Pretty in pink…

My bike arrived just in time to take on our camping trip! My son put it together with no problem. I tested it out and love it so far! I only wish I could have gotten yellow. Oh well it still rides great! Now my daughter-in-law wants one!

Horrible!!!

Horrible!!!. Been waiting since April , and they keep telling me “it’ll be one more month , no longer than 2 weeks , then it’s , no longer than one week,” I get the coronavirus messed everything up but it’s been 5 months and there shouldn’t been anymore excuses . They send emails that dont even work . Go somewhere else this is bs

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

My experience with this company has been terrible. I placed an order on April 8th and received an order confirmation stating that I'd receive my bike within 3 to 5 days. After waiting 2 weeks with no contact from them I emailed their customer service asking for a status update. Several days later I received an email from them complaining that their sales volume is "up 800%" due to COVID-19 and their customer service department is "overwhelmed". At that time they said my bike would ship in 2 weeks. Of course, 2 weeks later I reached out to them again for an update to find out that they still didn't have my bike. On May 5th they offered a 20% refund if I didn't cancel my order which I accepted. I received the 20% refund within a day and was told they'd have more of my bike in stock on May 20th. On May 24th I contacted them AGAIN only to find out that they still don't have the bike. This time they said they'd have it in stock on June 10th. On June 13th I reached out to them AGAIN and it took them 3 days to tell me that they still don't have my bike. I myself work in customer service and I understand the issues that arise from short supply. I also, however, understand that proactive communication with your customers is paramount to good customer service. Ever since they took my money, this company hasn't once reached out to me with an update on my order unless I ask for it and then it's always several days before they respond. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!UPDATE: My order was just pushed out AGAIN, this time with a "tentative" date of September 25th. In exchange all they offered was a $10 refund and a lame apology. Also, I've directly emailed their CEO Dustin multiple times and have received no response.

If you didn't have the back you never should have taken my money

I ordered a bike end of March on the website it said when I purchased 2 day shipping. After I purchased the bike the invoice said 3 to 5 business days. Well here we are June 11th no bike. I have to say this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I gave them ample time to fulfill my order but im not worthy of their time or business. Now the give me 2 options sit and wait until we dont know when or you can have your money back. Bbb will be notified.

I ordered a bike for my wife....

I ordered a bike for my wife, April 12th as a mothers day gift. I have emailed almost everyday and no response. I just want an update, i get that thkngs are crazy right now, but it cant be that difficult to say if its coming or not. I wish i could cancel and order her a bike from a responsive company

I hate to give them 1 star

I hate to give them 1 star, but it's been pretty frustrating trying to get ANYONE to reply that's human and not some automated email with vague or confusing information. Ordered my bike on April 15th, and still have zero idea if and when I will be receiving my order. I get that we are in a pandemic. I swear I do. I'm fine not getting my bike, but it would just be nice customer service to get a yay or nay on delivery of my order. I'm not mad, just a little disappointed that the easy route that some businesses take is using automated emails. If it were my business, I'd enlist a family member completely dedicated to help with replying to emails. That's one problem solved there if your business is overwhelmed.

disappointed, they cancel order without explanation.

Ordered a beach cruiser 4/14/20 for our daughters 13th birthday May 20th. Received an email from them 10 days later cancelling the order saying it was at our request. Zero communication from the company. When I checked their website it said they’re not taking new orders between 4/16-5/1???? Now my daughter isn’t getting the bike she wanted for her birthday and I’ve still received no explanation or email from the company why the order was cancelled, though I placed it before the 16th. Pretty disappointing.

0 Stars if I could. Ordered a bike for my girls birthday April 6th, it’s now April 28th and I still haven’t heard from the company. Website claims new orders will not be accepted starting April 17th due to virus (11 days after I ordered). I have sent over 7 emails asking for an update with no response and apparently their “Call Center” isn’t accepting new calls at this time. While I understand these are difficult times for everyone, It’s been 22 days since I placed my order and have not even an email reply from you guys helping explain where it is which is unacceptable.

Beware- unable to fulfill my order/provide updates

I know that we are in unpredictable and crazy times right now, but I placed an order and paid in full on April 2 and had no status updates on my order until I emailed over a week later and someone replied 3 days after that letting me know that there were delays. It’s now been over 3 weeks since I paid for my bicycle and I’m not getting any responses to my emails and no status updates on my order or estimated shipment date. Even a mass email stating shipment delays or something would work, but instead, no one answers the business phone, the mailbox is full so you can’t leave a voicemail, and no one is returning emails.

Peter was awesome !!! Along with the customer group.unfortunatley I had a couple of issues with the bike, however I was reimbursed for the repair. Peter was always polite and treated me very well. Not not many companies will put the customer first and they did. If I purchase another bike, this is the company that I will go to.Regards,Paul Walker

Customer Service: A++/ Bicycles: Sub-Par Quality

If this review was based solely on customer service...…I would have given Beachbikes 5 stars (maybe 6 - Karen was excellent in resolving all of the issues with this order).But...…….the quality of the bikes that I ordered is somewhat lacking. In all fairness, this may be the market standard since everything is outsourced to China these days. All I can say is that in the 80's, I used to own a Schwinn beach cruiser (5-speed) that was very similar in design but 3X the weight. (I used to ride it wrestling practice- so I was in shape then and it was an effort loading/unloading the bike to the bed of a truck). I would definitely opt for the lifetime warranty (it's pretty cheap).If you are in the market for a beach cruiser, I would recommend the following:1. Purchase directly from the store and not online. The quality of the bikes (and packaging) makes it unlikely that it will arrive undamaged. This is not necessarily any fault of Beachbike as they are not the manufacturer - just a distributer.2. If the bike is a gift and you are ordering online....order well ahead (2 months maybe), so that you can address any issues without any pressure of a timeline. I will say this...….Beachbikes does make a serious effort to fix any issues in a timely manner. (I was able to resolve all issues with my order and still be able to have both bikes before Christmas).3. Inspect your boxes. This especially holds true if you order accessories....some of mine were initially missing (actually not missing, but were received 2 days after receiving the bikes) but were replaced quickly...but did add time to get the bike complete assembled. Consider a different lock...the U-lock w/cable is to heavy to be stable when mounted to the bike....go old school and opt for just the cable and wrap it around the seat post - can't go wrong.In short, the bikes do look great and I think my wife and I will have a lot of fun riding them. Beachbikes customer service is great...but as I mentioned before, if you need these bikes for a gift or another specific purpose and you are ordering online....anticipate issues. Beachbikes will resolve them, but it may impact your timeline. Fortunately for me, we were able to resolve all issues prior to Christmas.GDTexas
