My Go Too for TNR Traps and Supplies

The best humane traps in the industry at the price point. Durable, craftsman like construction, offering options and accessories that are actually useful. I had and issue with the original shipment being damaged by the carrier in transit. AT&S responded to my message regarding the damage within an hour and offered me reasonable options; return and refund or return and replacement. I took the latter and seller initiated a shipment within 24 hours. Outstanding experience all around and I will buy from AT&S again as well as recommend them to my friends and associates in the local TNR community.

HAVAHART SMALL ANIMAL TRAPS

Since Trustpilot does not appear to allow reviews of animal traps, I am leaving a review here, since viewers may come here to look for trap advice.I am having issues with chipmunks. It began a few years ago with a few. It has grown to many. There are many reasons why they might like our property, in North GA, but I do not want them. They are snake bait. I do not want snakes. I tried many suggestions found online. Most do NOT work (the water in the bucket?? Not.) at all. The Havahart does work. I bought the 2 door trap from Home Depot for about $50. It caught one the first day. I had some trouble with my neighbors, I think, who are animal lovers. The trap was sprung, but no animal. I looked and the doors were unlocked. Impossible to happen on its own. Goofy animal lovers ignoring the snake bait chipmunks. I have caught 3 in 3 days. I take the caught baitmunks and drop them off in a forest 5 miles away. Hawks and owls rejoice. For every 2 chipmunks caught, that is approx. 10 baby munks less per year. The Havahart works.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE I live in Canada (Ontario) and asked Nick what the charges are to ship the Squirrelinators to my house ($100.) since he said they deal with Canada. It ended up costing $70. more once it was delivered. It would have cost me more to ship it back with the restocking fee. It also arrived damaged.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Ordered a $160 net trap that was never delivered even though I received tracking and confirmation emails. When I called to inquire I was treated terribly by supposed owner ( I think he was actually a lackey employee) John White who said that item is out of stock. Not my fault and never stated online that it was out of stock when I placed the order. I asked for a refund and he just laughed and hung up on me. Now I have to go through my bank to claim fraud so I can get my money back.

Buyer beware

Anyone who would like to know why we (furlife German Shepherd rescue) are writing a bad review from this person is welcome to contact me. We are easy to look up online. I have emails and documents to prove my statement below. In my honest opinion- this man and his company are not trust worthy and they tried to bully us in keeping a portion of the money they owed us. I also disputed everything through PayPal and it was found to be IN OUR FAVOR. But to give a summary of this man and his horrid deceiving company:We ordered an animal trap through his company which is called Animal Traps and Supplies on a Sunday. We were contacted by him for additional shipping $ to ship it out for TWO DAY shipping. We were quoted $250 for the shipping (it was a large trap so understandable that it was so expensive for two day shipping)When speaking with him I explained the importance of receiving it within 2 days. Explained we had a dog get away and we needed the trap ASAP. He stated that it would Ship out on Tuesday and we would receive by Thursday. I said to him that if we couldn’t get it by Thursday then we would cancel the order and I would order elsewhere and he stated by Thursday. Now, on Tuesday I asked for the tracking number. He sent it to me. I again, IN WRITING, asked him to confirm received day and in writing he said Thursday. Thursday late afternoon I contacted the shipping company. I was told “oh there is no way you would’ve ever gotten it in two days. It’s not even at the shipping terminal. It could even be early next week before you receive it” That’s when I refused shipment, told the shipping company to return it back and I was quite upset. I needed the trap by Thursday to catch one of our dogs and if I wasn’t going to receive that day I would have to find other means of getting another trap for that day which I did. We had a plan put together for an entire community Including the local Police Department to catch the dog that night based on the fact that I was promised a delivery date MULTIPLE times. I Contacted John to explain how badly this not only messed us up for catching the dog (which it ended up not by the end of the day thank goodness because we got another trap THAT DAY) but it messed up an entire plan of action with the help of the community and the local PD and the moment I tried to say anything to him he started to speak over me and was INCREDIBLY NASTY AND RUDE the entire time. He admitted on the phone that he lied to me (as in telling me it would be here in two days) because ONLY THEN did he tell me that there would’ve been no way I could get it In two days (much less.... that I was charged $250 FOR TWO DAY SHIPPING) and that I would’ve never gotten it In two days (even though I have proof stating he said otherwise)Now-i was told by him that He would not return all my money and I would not receive our full refund back from him even though HE LIED to me. It wasn’t even a mistake in my opinion. In my opinion He intentionally lied and misled me about the delivery date so that I wouldn’t cancel before he shipped it out. NOT ONLY THAT But he refused to reimburse the shipping costs to me. (Again not my issue because he lied to me. Charged me for two day shipping. Told me Tue ship Thur arrival and then changed story around to say “it would’ve never even gotten to you in two days. Not possible”. Then why lie to me and tell me it would. I don’t understand. And you want ME to continue to PAY for TWO DAY shipping even though telling me AFTER I didn’t get it on Thur “that wouldn’t have been possible” he said I was the one that should eat the shipping and not him. Why should I have to eat ANY of the money considering I was lied to, in my opinion, intentionally about the delivery dates? And then they wanted to refund me ONLY HALF of the amount that I paid for the trap? (It was over $600 TOTAL-between $250 shipping and the trap!!)Needless to say- PayPal sided with me. Refunded me all the money that I paid to this nasty individual. Buyers beware of John white and Animal Traps and supplies. We have a stellar reputation and fan base and we welcome ANY of our supporters to also share my statements regarding his disgusting company. It’s sad that they, knowing we are a 501c3 animal rescue, tried to prey on us. But I wouldn’t let YOUR donations get thrown away to this man. I FOUGHT to get your donation money away from his Company when they didn’t carry out on what they said they would do and we prevailed and it was sided with US!
