Lift Inoperable for Months — $2,500 Required Just to Diagnose Warranty Issue
My 84-year-old father, a veteran and recent amputee, had an AmeriGlide Hercules II Nano Lift installed in June 2025.The lift stopped working in October 2025 and has not operated since.The licensed installer has made multiple service visits, replaced batteries, and followed troubleshooting guidance provided by AmeriGlide technical support. Despite these efforts, the lift remains inoperable.AmeriGlide has stated that the product carries a two-year parts warranty. However, they require a $2,500 fee to send a technician to diagnose the issue before determining whether a warrantable defect exists.As a result, a lift that cost over $10,000 (including installation) has been unusable for approximately 40% of the ownership period to date.Buyers should clearly understand that on-site diagnostic service is not included under warranty, even within the first year of ownership.

I installed two units on a curved staircase.
Received shipment quickly and I was doing a self install on two units on a curved staircase. The installation took about two hours per unit. I was hesitant to do the installation myself but it turned out well and the instructions were clearly provided.

First of all
First of all, we never expected to be at the point in our lives where we would need a stair lift chair. My wife reached out to your company and the return contact was made a day later. The sales tech was very informative and respectful of our situation. I had measured our location and had questions, and he had the answers. He was very helpful and friendly. We are excited to install the unit and make life easier for my wife.

Those are things that I don’t get a lot of during this during this time people are not as considerate or understanding, but you were very understanding and considerate, and you were very efficient. I love the fact that you did follow up and you took care of all of my needs, even went down to the measurements showing you pictures and you know, helping me make my final decision and also helping me with the budget. AMERIGLIDE - the VERY BEST COMPANY!
The day before I was having total knee replacement surgery, I had an issue with my Ameriglide Rave ll chair lift. I called tech support in a complete panic. The tech I spoke calmed me down and assured me he would do his best to get the problem fixed. My son in law, Glenn. installed it and could not be available talk to the tech until after work. The tech would be gone by that time, so he gave me his personal cell so he could be contacted when Glenn was available. They worked on it together for probably 30-45 minutes and resolved all the issues! I will forever be thankful that this kind and supportive tech went above and beyond to provide the best support available! I do believe this is an excellent company and recommend that anyone with mobility problems select Ameriglide to work with!

Did a goggle search looking for a stair…
Did a goggle search looking for a stair lift and came across this company. I went to order a lift but couldn't get payment through, so I called and got Andres Avila as an agent and went through the process of ordering a chair lift. He was able to order a chair cheaper then what it would cost through the web site. Order placed and then got email saying they had trouble with payment. I called bank to find out there was a limit on card for fraud protection, they raised it and I emailed Andres Avila that they now can get payment. I soon got email from from Andres Avila with a receipt. This was placed on 01/09/26 and got lift on 01/15/26. I decided to install myself only due to my skill set and took me about 3 hours to install. I'm overall pleased with their product and their service. Thank you Andres Avila

Good Customer Service, Excellent Installer
Overall, the experience based on the installer, Gavin S., and Customer Service was very good. I purchased the unit in November 2025 for physical health reasons, and the unit was just installed on 01/09/2026. I would not recommend the salesperson (Colin) for several reasons (he could not remember me nor recall the details of my transactionand was always 'at the beach' or on vacation). AmeriGlide explained how their salespeople talk to hundreds of potential customers, but if that is true, then when there is finally a cash sale, one would think that would be memorable. In the meantime, I purchased a second stairlift from a competitor, which was installed in less than three (3) weeks from purchase for my first floor to the basement because of the salesperson, the long wait for installation w/AmeriGlide, price, and other factors. The AmeriGlide installer, Gavin S., was very professional, knowledgeable, and experienced, and went out of his way to help me. He explained how to use the stairlift and how to obtain help if needed. He provided extra help and was very understanding about my needing to use a wheelchair/walker to let him into the house. Overall, except for the sales transaction and the long wait for installation (seven weeks), I am very pleased with the RAVE2 unit.
