I recently commissioned a custom oil painting reproduction from 1st-art-gallery and was incredibly impressed by the entire experience. From the start, the team was responsive to my quote request, and the process was great.When I received the initial preview, the work was nearly perfect. I had a few specific adjustments, and while there was a slight initial misunderstanding regarding my feedback, the team was responsive and attentive and then incorporated my notes to perfection. What stood out most was the artist's expertise; they truly understood how to translate the original painter's style into a large-format work. They nailed the technical aspects—specifically using impasto brushstrokes and clear delineation to evoke the texture of water and sharp rocks, rather than relying on the fuzzy blending to just get local values and colors to match the projected photographic reference that lesser artists often use.To give some context on the quality here: I simultaneously ordered a similar artwork (by the same original master) from a different, more expensive studio. That competitor’s work was overly blended, lacked understanding of value in the composition most critically, and failed to capture the spirit and texture of the piece even after five rounds of feedback. In contrast, the artist at 1st-art-gallery captured the essence immediately. I am grateful to the staff and artists here for creating a reproduction I will be proud to display in my home forever.

The company did exactly what it promised. I ordered a copy of Galatea of the Spheres (Dali). The painting I received was hand-painted as promised (I checked, it was definitely a painting, not a print, since I can see brushstrokes. Also, it was not an enhanced print because as much as they tried there were very small discrepancies that wouldn't have been there if it was a print)The shipping was on time, and the quality was great. Customer service was prompt, they give you a picture of what they are about to send and you can request changes - I did and they were accommodated perfectly.I will be ordering again

The Austrian’s, in spite of their WWll treatment of the Jewish community, fought tooth and nail to retain the looted painting which they called “The Woman in Gold”. We know it as Adele Bloch Bauer 1, painted by Gustav Klimt.For many decades I have admired the painting and always wanted a reproduction of the work. I, like many people, deliberated long and hard before placing an order with the 1st Art Gallery. A 36x36” copy of the subject painting is not cheap, the professional framing likewise.Due to the canvas size, with much trepidation, I ordered an unframed rolled painting. Before doing so I took advantage of the customer service telephone consultation with an agent. During this consultation I was fully reassured and placed my first order.Like a small child I awaited the arrival of finished work and then before even viewing it, I took the boxed painting to the framers.Just before Christmas my framed painting was ready for collection. The first time I set eyes on the painting almost took my breath away. Not only was the painting outstanding, but the work of The Haslemere Framing Company, truly enhanced the painting too. Today, the painting is proudly hanging in my sitting room, it is admired by all who have seen it. However, that is not the end of my association with The 1st Art Gallery. Before The Woman in Gold was delivered, I ordered another Klimt painting, The Kiss. This canvas is currently with the framers and will eventually hang in an adjacent position to balance the room. A third painting The Tree of Life, also by Klimt is also on order. I make no apologies for this long review of The 1st Art Gallery and sincerely hope that others like me will appreciate the quality of the artwork and services they offer.

Perfect Reproductions from 1st Art Gallery
I just HAD to share that 1st Art Gallery created a perfect reproduction piece for us. The oil painting, José Maria Rodriquez Acosta’s "Woman in a Green Dress," creates the perfect mood for our dining area. The artist is truly gifted, and we are delighted with it. This is our third commission with 1st Art Gallery. All have been very large oil reproductions, and all have been exquisite.

Magnificent Oil Painting
I recently had an oil painting done by 1st Art Gallery. The results were magnificent. It looks like a museum piece. I worried it may be cartoonish looking, but instead, it was exquisite. The rich colors and details were all there. It looks better than a similar painting in a museum that I visit.
